Very neat rendition on the Deathwing! The off white that you painted appears very thin and smooth! Nice job!

The weathering on the armor looks really good and the osl from the eyes and weapons is cool as well. Great job!

They actually look like bone! Nice and gritty overall, too!

Thanks All, glad to hear the feedback is positive. I saw several people use the "gritty/streaky" technique before, and its something I wanted to give a try. The hardest part was finding a neon yellow/green for the glow effect, luckily vallejo has a solid yellow green color that did the job.

I wouldn't have the guts to try the dirty look, or the skills to pull it off. You did and do The look like my car, need to get into the car wash before it snows again! They look very good, very "real" Nice job!

Nice work on the white, but the mould lines somewhat ruin it a bit.

Yeh, I missed the mold line on the right arm... ill see what I can do to fix that one.

Really not a fan of these, this paint job looks nice on plague marines, but on deathwing its just kind of awkward. Also, when doing a dirty style paint job, its so easy to lose depth on the paint. These just seem like they have no detail to them.

I don't think the "dirty" paint job is doing a lot of favors, here. I think a cleaner paint scheme might work a little better. In particular, it makes the mold line on the bottom picture stand out like a shotgun blast.

Well, im goign to agree to disagree with you on this one. The Deathwing spend their time walk thru space hulks infested with nids, there going to get gritty! Also, ill be fixing that mold line as stated above, it doesnt look nearly as bad on the table top.

Nice termies mate! Bening a DA myself I agree with some that the dirty colour isn't my cup of tea, but that doesn't matter! It is well done, and creates a unique, non-generic army!

Why not try green for the power weapons instead of blue? It's what I do now. I do it because:

1. Draws in the green from rest of army.
2. Everyone does blue!

Not a criticism, because the blue is very nicely done. Just an idea!

Keep up the good work!

I'm not a fan of the weathering on the Termies... it looks fantastic on the Dreadnought, because of its larger size, but on the troops I think it would look better reined in some - used more on the boots, legs, underside etc. rather than across the whole model.

Everything else I can see looks great. The level of skill really shows in the glowing eyes, the stony shield, and in particular the bases look really good.

...on another note - you may very well kick yourself in getting rid of the Deathwing now. Unless you're planning on getting more in, say, a few months' time.
