Subject: Huron Blackheart conversion?

Hello!
I am planning on getting Lucius the Eternal into my army list, but I hate the model! It looks stupid!
So, I was thinking about getting Huron Blackheart and converting him.
His claw would be replaced with a power weapon, and Huron's PW would have a whip in that hand instead. Or, I could do the arms the other way around, so they look a it more like Lucius'. The whip would be from wire, and the PW from my bits box.
What do you think?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Huron's entire right side is pitted and filled with cybernetics. I'm not sure it would look right as Lucy.

Naa, I don't want to spend £21 on a conversion.
I was thinking a wire whip, and this sword from the CSM champion.

A key part of Lucius is his armour with all the twisted faces of the foes that have killed him and been re-absorbed (I think anyway, it's been a good couple of years since I read his background).
I prefer Lucius' model anyway, it's one of my favourite sculpts actually.
What is it about him that makes you think 'stupid'?

You would need to model the screaming faces into the armour if you use the Huron model though, I think (though it has been a while) that every foe that fells lucius becomes a screaming face in his armour when the rebirth occurs (again, I could be wrong).

Yeah, I would green stuff the armour's captured souls. Everyone who slays him (or tries to) gets their soul suck into his armour. The reason that I don't like him, is that he is slaanesh-y (obviously), and my guys are going to be khorne and nurgle. Neither of which are slaanesh-y themes, as I find it to...erm...girly? I also think that his legs are too big compared to his waist. And I love the Huron model, but I like Lucius' stats better (not the model)

If your background story is good i can't see why you can't use a different model to represent Lucius. If you look at what Lucius has got fluff wise you could easily 'tweak it' to fit your theme. Maybe your guy can't be killed because he's more machine than human (think terminator) and has been fitted with nanobots or something that repair him but when he's atacked they defend him (armour of shrieking souls). Can't help with the lash, but you get the idea, so i hope it helps.

I was thinking (weapon-wise) like this, I'm still thinking about the armour. But, I wouldn't paint him pink...

Yeah, I'm unsure to do him nurgle or khorne... (anything but slaanesh!) Do you have a pic of your Nurgle one?

Yeah, I am wondering what to do about that...
I could just clip the blade of the sword, then attach it to a right hand arm

Let the great green stuffing begin!
You'd be better off making the your Lucius out of spare CSM grunt parts and green stuffing the tendrils and warped faces.
Start with the CSM grunt face and running a razor blade of his face and making small divots on head. Don't go over board.
The majority of the work will be the armor but, here is the secret to the warped faces, use a mechanical pencil.
the Tendrils are just twisting green stuff up.
