THE INFERNO-8 BLOG HAS BEEN MOVED

Hello, welcome to my wargaming blog/forum here i will display my WIP models from many diffent wargaming systems such as 40K or WM

Currently, since i cant think of anything else to add to my 40K CSMs or My WM armies i have started a personal skirmish game

I wanted to build something orignal, new and of my own design.

So i decided to like it in with my love of Astro-Physics and do a skirmish game based in the solar system called INFERNO-8

The armies i came up with...

Mercury - Favours Heat based weapons

Venus - Favours speed - Based on ancient rome

Earth - favours strengh - based on humanity

Mars - favour defense

Jupiter - Favours power - based upon ancient greece

Saturn - Favours attack - based upon ancient egypt

Uranus - favours strategy

Neptune - favours water based weapons - based on the notion of atlantis

Pluto - favours stealth - based on modern day secret services

Found the lead! here is my progress so far...

Hello everyone!

just finished the legs, had a bit of triuble with the height but changed it to thr right size. the design on the left is the first design (22cm) and on the right (17cm) so i will be using the right design which leaves me with 8-10 cms to work on the torso/head area

The legs are made out of strong reinforced card for ease of building. when i have done the legs i will thourughly go through and add/sculpt in details such as the armour and chaos icons and hydralics in the legs and waist.

Hello again! just applyed the design to the other leg just need to add the armour and other details and its ready for spraying!

Done! i have finished the legs and added the waist plate, with the eye or horus/chaos on it

so im finished for the day and ive run out of resources so i will have to begin the torso tommorow

OK so i have just finished the leg armour and thats about it. i will finish the hydralics detail tommorow

what do you think of it so far?

yeah sure, i will just get them up, they are all still WIP

The Land raider is basicly a piece or cardboard still need to weapons and basiclly everything

The Vindicator is missing some weapons and exhuasts

The predator just needs the turret

Here is most of my Chaos army with the exclusion of most of my daemons, some possesed and a tank

The big thing at the back is my WIP custom warhound titan

the backround is my desk and a warmachine poster

i though it would be hard to paint and everything so that seemed the best option

but with my warhound i will try to finish the details on the legs by tommorow evening so i can prime it.

dont know what to paint it though....

Iron warriors (in coherency with my tanks)

Magma Lords (My own chapter) they are all red yellow and fiery

or alpha legion (i love the colours)

Think i would prob do the easiest, spay it black then silver and add a few yellow lines with some rust and mud for iron warriors, quick liberal washes like. butt doing it in a blue/green patchy shade would look good and wouldn't be to difficult either. reckon fire would be slow going sadly.

yeah, i will do iron warriors or alpha legion

ive got a bit to much red already (bloodletters, beserkers...)

Good idea, add some variety.

QUICK UPDATE

as i am starting necromunda so the only things i will be putting up for a while is my WIP daemons and Scratch-built viechles

after that my list is

get 12 beserkers (adds up to 20, nothing says apoc like a maxed out squad of beserks )

noise marines (to get some pink in the army and i love emperors children)

plague marines

and a daemon prince

you may be wondering about the termies in one of the photos, they are converted from th AoBR ones that i found in my old box of 40K and are still a WIP


I will start on the torso tommorow from 7-8AM 4:30-6:30PM not much time but hopefully i can get most of it done, the hard part is over and done with...

then i can design some cool weapons for my titan

i will take a Vulcan mega bolter and my own custom weapon (still designing it)

just spend half an hour get the right size for the torso, here is my work so far.

Hello! i have just finished the prototype for the head

UPDATE 6:00PM THURSDAY

Hello again! only 27 more hours to go till the deadline, however i only work on this for about 2 hours a day so tommorow i have to build the base, finish the detail, hydralics and weapons.

For this update i have began the arm joints and finished the head

it's come together fast man! looking good, though i thing the head is to long and thin? mayb try bulking it up abit?
