So I was going to trade this guy for the khador half of a warmachine starter set for some terminators. The deal was I was to send it first and get a tracking number for him, then he would send his half. After getting the tracking number and giving it to him, he claimed the tracking number didn't work. I sent him a copy/paste of the email notification I received which included the tracking number again and confirmation of the warmachine stuff being sent. After this he didn't reply to the message I sent, and he made posts afterwards showing that he was just ignoring my messages. I then received an email confirmation that my stuff reached his home on the 12th. I thought I would give him some time to reply, but it has been 3 days now and I've heard nothing from him. He could also just be on vacation but I'm starting to doubt that just because he ignored my messages.

So anyway, be careful with dealing with this guy because it seems he took advantage of me because of my low post count and inexperience dealing with the people on the swap shop. I'm not really sure what further steps to take, and I can provide proof of all shipping and PM's if necessary.

In terms of further steps, you should PM RiTides or Filbert (the mods of this sub-forum I think), they have a lot of experience with next steps. Finding any other users who have gotten involved with him could help you find more information on the guy (which you can't post on the thread, but can send via PM to each other) which may help in contacting him outside of dakka and getting things sorted.

Or else he's a complete crumb and you and possibly others got robbed and you'll never see your models again. Sadly, that happens every so often. Best of luck mate.

Firstly, please be mindful of the formatting that we request for these kinds of reports (as noted here). Seems nitpicky/pedantic, but it makes it a lot easier to search for these Transaction Reports in the future.

Secondly, Trogdor, if you could post up info relating to PM history (ie, actual dates when messages were sent), that'd be helpful (and if you could PM me the tracking info you sent to BA_Chris).

Thirdly, normally, we do request that people wait a little bit before posting up Transaction Reports owing to the fact that life does sometimes get in the way. As it seems, BloodAngles_Christ has not posted anything on Dakka since 07/07, so perhaps he's been out for a bit. Give it a couple of days and we'll see if he responds.

I have a trade ongoing with him. I sent him a message on the 16th that the paypal payment was about to clear, so I asked him to ship asap.

He responded "Got the package, so will be shipping out tomorrow. "

Now that could either be him saying that he has the package ready and will ship, or perhaps he received someone else's package and mistook me for that individual.

Either way I sent a reply to him mentioning this thread. Hopefully everything works out for all involved parties.

I did end up getting a reply from him as well, and he said he would ship tomorrow as well. I asked him why he didn't reply for so long but at this point I'm assuming I just kinda jumped the gun. I'll let you guys know

I received my items in good order, and left a positive trade report in the reputable trader's list. If this is not still an issue for the OP I suggest we close this to avoid leaving a tarnish on his record without cause.
