UPDATE: Added WIP shots, PIP shots to follow.

Sup, Dakka.

I figured I'd take a swing at converting a Valkyrie kit into something that resembles a Forge World Avenger Strike Fighter. Below are some pics, and I hope you enjoy. As always, questions, comments and concerns are appreciated.

I'll post some WIP and PIP photos here next week as I'm able.

All the best, Dakka.

A very clean finish. Looks a lot like the forge world one:

Very nice job. I decided to make one as well, but I went a different way with it, based it off an Ork bommer for a more WWII look. You did a great job of capturing the original model though. I'm impressed.

You can bet if it turns out these babies are able to squadron (or are FA for Elysians) that I'll be building another like this to run a pair of them in the 2 different patterns

Hello again! Quick Painting In Progress update while I have the time. It's a terribly busy week this week and well past my bedtime already.

The model was painted with The Army Painter's new "Warpaint" range, and they are excellent.

Enjoy!

At long last, the WIP photos of the Avenger Strike Fighter I've been working on. This is going to be rather image intensive, so if you have a slower connection, while you're waiting for this to load, go get yourself something to eat, walk the dog, file your taxes, etc.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Enjoy!

Indeed, sir! I get mine at the Home Depot. Seven bucks for a huge sheet, can't go wrong.
