Just experimenting with a drone, any thoughts? I know its quite basic so I may do some more to it

I took a few comments on board and am plowing into an xv 8, what do you think so far?

I like it! The bright lines really stand out. I can see a whole army like this would look awesome! Do more. Maybe do different colors for different squads?

Thanks for the feedback so far, im going to neaten up the drone a little, and i've started on the next unit, a crisis suit!

I like the idea but I think the novelty will wear off fast. What you may want to do is go for a more traditional tron color (light grey and blue) and then paint on different circuit board markings or buy circuit decals . Another thing is you may want to use different colors than just blue.

A perfect color scheme for painters who want an army painted up fast. Looking through the internet i found many people using the same color theme. I was thinking that you could make your characters and squad leaders to stand out by doing them in a different detail color (maybe red or orange).

mix a little bit of UV powder in with the paint and paint it into the recesses. That way it glows in the dark just like the movies!

I used a Tron style color scheme (red, blue, and white kind) on my Stealthsuits because I had no other idea what to do with them. Tau look good with the color scheme and it's pretty easy to paint. It works on the suits, drones, Firewarriors, and even the vehicles. There are a few examples around if you want an idea.

That looks very striking! I might be tempted to add some grey highlights to the black as it looks a little flat currently, but otherwise it's awesome!

Looks good just try not to leave the black flat looking. It's a simple but effective scheme.

xv8 turned out nice, did you use those .20mm felt tip pens for the white? Looks great.
