This will be a very slow plog, because these are models from my own collection that I paint in rare moments of freedom between paying work.

Here's the Hassassin Muyib who will run as a defensive minelayer most of the time:

The wash is still wet on his rifle. Not yet sure how I'll finish the rifle. I like the camouflaged look to it, so it may stay sandy, but I might decide to paint dull metal on the barrel eventually. Opinion are welcome.

The digicam takes quite a while to execute, which is another reason this plog will likely take a while...

Still got a fair amount to do on him, but as my painting time for today has run out, this is as far as I go.

Got this guy finished between Trollbloods today. The text on his base, which will repeat across my Hassassin Bahram, is "nothing is true; everything is permitted".

Working on a Fiday, now, but don't hold your breath.

Seems I'm making better progress on this project than I expected to, so far. Obviously I need to work harder on my clients' projects!

However, here's a WIP of the Fiday:

Got the Fiday done yesterday.

I'll carry on with a Ragik today, but have other pressing matters to see to, so it will strictly be "while other stuff is drying".

Looking back at this, I'm not 100% happy with parts of it. I might give it another pass when I go back to add some more detail to the bases.

Cant wait to see the Ragik, as its probably my favourite Hassassin model, along with the Lasiq, and I dont even play Infinity. But if I did, it would probably be Haqqislam.

Anyways, the models look great, and Im surprised no one else posted yet. I really dig the digital camo you've got, it's really neat and it's got a sharp contrast to the sandy desert colour scheme you've going for them.

Helm visors are a nice touch too, and add a bit of colour to the model. Also digging the desert base scheme. What colours do you use for it?

The bases are currently just Tallarn Flesh drybrushed with Bleached Bone. I want to do more with them in due course, though.

I have already painted a Lasiq, but I was trialling a different paint scheme at the time, so I'll probably repaint her in this new scheme shortly. Just got to decide whether to strip her back or paint over. I'll probably strip it back.

Looks really good, I love the camo pattern! The light shade of blue of his visor is a colour that goes nicely with the brown shade as well, and that's some really fine highlighting.

Looking forward to more!

Thanks, squidmanlolz.

As promised at the outset, this is an onerous project, painted in fits and starts between the vast Trollblood, Beastman, Chaos Warriors and Napoleonic armies that I'm working on for various clients. But here's a shot of my latest WIP, the first of the Ragiks:

I apologise that all of these guys look like they're different colours. Eventually I'll have a lighting set up that doesn't rely on daylight. Until then, the colour varies depending on the time of day. I promise they are all the same colour in real life.

I'm working on this guy and the other one with an HMG, after which I'll move to doing the Daylami. Then, and only then, I'll go back to finishing the Qapu Khalqi. For some reason, this technqiue is a lot harder to do on the Druze. I think it's because they're such detailed sculpts.

Finished (for now)

I'm working on the second Ragik, right now. Once he's done I'll move on to the Daylami. Then I have to finish the Druze in the reverse scheme and repaint the Lasiq.

Damn these look good.

I absolutely love the digicam on your models, and as someone who loves the blue and tan... well, just take a look at my stuff and you can see I might be a little biased as to your color scheme.

I always wanted to do digicam, but either my brush control was never good enough or I got frustrated trying to keep it uniform. Infinity models are just so small! You did a wonderful job with it and I can't wait to see more.

Oh wow.

Seeing the WIP of the Digicam is enlightening. Next model I work on I'm going to have to try that. Though I may start with a slightly bigger model, like a Remote or something.

Thanks for that chief.

Yeah, I just start by blobbing it on. Usually in Y or X shapes. Then I create the digital effect by removing stuff as I reapply the basecoat.

I don't apply any highlighting to the dark areas at all.

Inside your mind, corrupting the pathways

Looks pretty cool - the only thing I would change is adding a third colour to the camo - maybe a light grey - in small blocks to the edge of the black line (so overlapping the black and tan), just to break it up a little.

I've put the Ragik aside for a bit to try updating some of my older Haqqislam minis to the new paint scheme:

@SilverMK2 - I think you're right, but I want to get the whole lot done with just this scheme first. Once done, I'll look at going back, improving the camo with a third colour and generally touching up some details I've glossed over on the first pass.

OK, it's not Hassassin. It's not even Haqqislam. But here's a quick WIP of my GoGo Marlene limited edition miniatures:

I have a love hate relationship with the monocycles, but that scheme really brings out the best in them.

GoGo definitely knows how to dress to get the ratings ifyouknowwhatImean. Looks good so far!

Sorry it's been a while, but I finally have made some time to get some progress going on my Infinity - I hope to have at least two and maybe three hours a week to work on them, so am pushing ahead with the digital camo theme:

Really great paint job. I haven't been a big infinity fan because the paint jobs are unobtainable for me. You pulled off one I think works well with the models and the concept. Also the script on the bases is great touch

Here's a shot of the next new addition to the Haqqislam army; a Daylami:

The idea with these guys is that they are irregulars, recruited from the tough survivalist communities in the mountains of Bourak, so I wanted him to look like he'd put his fighting gear on over his regular work clothes. Pretty pleased, so far.

I'd quite like to make it three-colour camo in due course but, right now, I'm just focused on getting enough of them finished to have a proper, painted army.

Nice dusty, realistic feel to him. If you want some more traffic from Infinity fans it'd be a good idea to post a link to your updates here. A lot of people use that thread to check out Infinity blogs and showcase threads.
