Working on my first Nurgle CSM army.
Going for around 1500pts
Here's my Nurgle Daemon Prince I just converted, I used the Warhammer giant head, arms, legs, and a souldgrinder torso. Any suggestions on how to paint him?

First of all great work, looks amazing as for painting him perhaps the colours of rotting flesh, so greens, dark browns and blacks etc.

Yes, great conversion. Definately agree on the rotting flesh. You could maybe also do his chest like its been stripped of skin and all you can see is the muscle underneath.

It would also probably look awesome if you painted his pants to look like skin that has been stitched together.

Unholy mother of the Chaos gods, that's one amazing DP!

Can you tell how you painted it in the end? Also, if I can do a suggestion; I would add some damage to the face. For the moment it looks too clean imho. Maybe some contrasting colour for his beard could also make his head stand out more?

That picture doesn't do him justice, will post a cleaner pic after work.
I primed him abaddon.
Skin was karak stone with highlights of ushabi bone
leather was baneblade brown
hair and straps for the leather was a mixed dark brown
bones along his back were ushabi bone
muscles and sores were done with ratskin flesh with a drop of black
I painted the armor pieces in deathwood forest and nurgling green
I then washed the model in saraphin sepia and finally agrax earth shade both heavy washes
I came back and washed the exposed muscles again in sepia
The conversion seemed to fit together, I was worried the legs or arms would be out of scale with the soul grinder torso. But to my luck it all fit very well.
I had to use very little green stuff to fit everything together.
