Decided to paint something a bit different (for me)

For the black? Its all VA paints, i just mixed light grey and black a whole lot really!

The model would certainly benefit from a few touch-ups here and there but your highlighting is solid and it's a nice model to boot!

Thanks, what do you think needs touching up, im always looking to improve? I know the front of the tabard is a bit iffy i had an accident with some glue...

Just a few areas where the paint has touched across from one part to another like on the chainsword engine.

Also a bit more highlighting here and there.

I honestly thought the tabard looked fine if not a little bare. a painted on aquila would look good on it if your hand is steady enough

yeah, it could do with a touch up really! ill be doing the others soon so will get them up on here too!

Did you get the conversion Kit from GW? Or was this homemade? Either way, I like! I think that he just needs a BT symbol in the middle of the tabard there.

I believe this model is from the standard Sword Brethren kit from GWS

I never buy from GW anymore there prices are just so stupid.

But yeah there's actually been a kit for them for agggges now. They used to be metal, think there resin now though.
