Suggestions? Maybe tape off the flames and hit the rest with a matt varnish to really make it pop?

The rest isn't done. I had thought it would be harder to do than it seems to be, there will be graphics and some yellow on other parts of the vehicle (I play Iyanden). But I didn't want to have to keep repainting other details if I had to at some point start over completely due to failed flames hahah.

My only suggestion would be to give us a bigger photo. Bigger photos are always better.

So far from what i can see your flames look really good. Like actual fire rather then crappy decal flames.

a larger photo would help us provide more feedback. can't make out any detail here. what I can see does look good, though. makes me imagine that it took a missile down the intake or something

On another note, if you play Iyanden won't flames clash with the yellow colour of the Craftworld?

Short answer, yes. I have 4 extra falcons gathering dust, and I decided to do something different with one of them. I'm going to table it with my army for a few games and see if I like the new color scheme, and if I do, I might start dark eldar.
