Thanks! Yeah, we've had time to get more games in lately. It comes and goes and I have to jump on it when people are motivated to play.
Goatboy does the art, hit him up his prices are very reasonable and he is an all around good guy! It's fun to have custom art for your army, gives it more character

While it was all done in jest, the whole phrase "How can this army not have a re-rollable save" is indicative of what's wrong with tournament level 40K these days. If the rumor of nerfing the grimoire to a max 3++ is true....well what does that do for Eldar Fortune/Shrouded Seer Councils? 2++ re-rollables that exist *anywhere* in the game ruin it for *everyone*.

It's not really a problem in general terms, IMO, just for the players that come to rely on this type of thing as a crutch. He flew Flyrants directly at a Tau gunline and then got upset when they were shot down....hahaha, how can he have expected any other result? Because he's become used to an invincible unit that can do something like that.
As for the Seercouncil, you can destroy it in assault if you have the right tools: lots of AP2 attacks. Not everyone has that, though, unfortunately. But yeah, it is stupid. Really stupid. I hope GW takes some responsibility in this for their own rules and Nerfs that type of thing out of existence.
You gotta hold back and hide with everything until your reserves come on, Grant. With 2+ reserves, you can throw your whole army at him at once and overload him with skill instead of rerollable d-bag Fortune saves.
Tyranids with inexperienced player vs Taudar... I'm predicting a one-sided slaughterfest, time to watch it and see if I'm right.
EDIT: End of turn 1, both Flyrants charged forward, got shot down, guy is mad. I'm like "Were you expecting your opponent to just politely not shoot at the massive targets dangling in front of his nose?"
EDIT: Well, that ended up being less one-sided than I expected, Tyranid player did quite well for someone new to Nids. If it hadn't been for early game mistakes he actually could've one.
