The WarStore semi-regularly cleans out their bits, and bags them up. But it can be quite hit or miss.

HOWEVER, for sorting through with kids, and using for kid-projects?

Well worth the investment!

Betcha think I forgot about you. No, dear reader...I have not!

The final parts from the Munitions Ministorium finally arrived. First, a note on missile assembly. This is how I build a two-stage missile. I fill in the void in the upper stage with plasticard, which then has various greeblings, rivets, and symbols applied. So, that's two Deathstrike Missile sections, four pieces from the Manticore missiles (I think I can salvage the remaining halves for...something...), and one section of barrel/turret from a Shadowsword kit. PER MISSILE. G'wan, do the math.

And a quick shot of rivets, rivets, ladder, and rivets:

Radar Dish in stowed/travel position:

And now, gentlemen of the League...the finished Ordinatus.

Incredible job Brian! I'm a huge fan of Epic to 40k scratchbuilds and this one is just perfect!

Thanks for all the kind words, folks! It's been a hell of a slog, and way more expensive than I initially expected.

Next up? Prime and paint!

Seriously.... awesome my friend. Take your time to consider just the right paint scheme to compliment such an awesome engine of Destruction!

Actually, given the expense involved... the missiles might not be a bad casting project. Of course you'd have to make the missile supports and vehicle out of cast iron in order to support them...

What did you finally name this? Golgotha or something ?

Hummm...
On Facebook: Hey Ordinatus..., My boyfriend only plays Tau, I want him to play chaos,, what should I do?
Ordinatus : I suggest you shoot a missile at him and move on to a guy who plays Grey knights and purges you of your heretical ways!
PS.. call me!

Yeah that would work! Ask the Ordinatus...

The suggestion was Ordinatus Falchen. It is based on the Epic 40K scaled Ordinatus Golgotha.

I still have no idea what color I want to paint it. I'm tempted to paint it OMFG Yellow, and give it to some Orks.
