Here is my World Eaters 1950 list for an upcoming tournament. I playtested a few other lists but have narrowed it down to this. Gonna see if there is any advice i could get from you folks

Berzerkers deploy with Kharn inside the Land Raiders, both big brother demons deploy behind land raiders to not get shot up. Cultists are there just to snag objectives in my back field that I dont want to dedicate Berzerkers to. I hope to get one Exalted Reward where i can spawn demons if i kill enough with the big airborn demons
Land Raiders move up and demons jump behind them staying out of the firing line, then when heldrake shows up they zoom out or charge out depending on who Im fighting or how far away they are. Idea of the army is too get stuck in the center and KILL!! BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!!!
Its hard to get an all assault army to work but im determined!! Im still flopping around the idea of the heldrake or the demon prince though, I want more berzerker bodies on the field but it just doesnt seem like they would benefit me any.

Yeah, this looks pretty reasonable.

Might be better off with Zhufor The Impaler than Kharn though, he's cheaper and better.

Also, dont berzerkers come with votlw as standard?

I will be playing in a tournament this saturday and I will def post the results! havent got as many play test games as I would have liked oh well. Everyone saying it is dead is precisely why Im trying so hard to make it work, for one I like to prove anything is viable behind a good player and with everyone thinking its dead they dont plan to fight it.

Many people have TAC lists but when actually on the table and I rush them with so many things at one time they panic or it at leasts puts them off foot right from the start. My games so far have been extremely bloody as i learn to use these better, Khorne wouldnt have it any other way! Not being able to overrun into another unit after combat is what hurts assault armies now as either I get bogged down or left out in the wind to get shot up after i destroy only one unit. careful positioning of the land raiders or at least presenting too many targets after the combat lessens that impact, or having so many units charge in one turn doesnt leave much left of their army to shoot at my units that are left out of combat.

sadly GW thought that berzerkers werent veterans...thousand sons come with it standard but I believe thats it, ill have to look it up later. And I know some people say its not worth it but the re-rolls against marines is invaluable!!! Any other army i have enough attacks or strength to get through or armor to weather the storm but marines put up a good fight. Besides Kharnes Hatred helps at least one berzerker squad against any army

Kharn is only 160 vs. Zhufor being 185? I may be looking at old rules for him though... Zhufor doesnt make my berzerkers troops though. He has eternal warrior which i would gladly pay extra for Kharn to have but alas his fluff (getting run over by a rhino tank and getting shot to pieces at the emperors palace till he was "legally dead") is not enough for them to give him that. The only times I have lost him were due to instant kill. A tervigon with iron arm on it, and Belial's thunder hammer....Too many storm shield saves stopped me from killing him first!

This is an awesome list.
It seems effective without being cheesy or spammy. Actually, it's very thematic - I'd love to see how this army looks on the table fully painted. Maybe it's just my predilection to Ork-style warfare, but Khorne is dope.
I don't really know what to suggest. Maybe there could be a few more berserkers, I agree, but I don't know how much they cost or what upgrades would be worth sacrificing on other units to get more.

An update to the list as I have finished the tournament and didnt do too hot...wont explain game 2 in depth as I learned the value of know thy enemy ...played an eldar player who clearly skewed every rule possible to make my life harder. was a friendly guy so didnt think to question it but I understand messing 1 or 2 rules up but after going through the dex after the game i was shocked ...I was fighting all WS5 I5 Armor save 3+ howling banshees and Dire avengers, and his farseer had a speer he could throw that in combat let him re-roll misses, had fleshbane and was AP2 ...enough of my rant though, hard to stay on top of all the armies with the prices of these books now..

Anyways the list, Exalted rewards = Terrible.
I would rather have two greater rewards as they improve survivability. Exalted rewards dont work often in these fast paced, sometimes short games. Even just one greater reward on each demon would net me 60pts to spend elsewhere.

Kharn - needs eternal warrior...badly...one bad roll to wound, bad look out sir, or the enemy makes too many Invul saves and then you have a powerfist/thunder hammer/lascannon shot coming to shut the lights out... I think it would actually help to have a toned down character so as not to obliterate a unit in CC in one round also, that way the deal is sealed on their turn and I am free to move and charge another unit after that on my turn.

Dirge Casters = $$$MONEY$$$
for their price i would never leave home without. one land raider unloads it cargo, the other raced by to get close to the enemy and prevent overwatch, following turn they switch roles. Looks like leap frog lol. But it hurt Tau a lot with all their overwatch madness...

Lastly I will drop one unit of cultists, one squad of 15 is better just lurking in the back as the other unit I usually didnt have a use for.

World Eaters assault army this edition could be so much better if I could have open topped rhinos or some other cheaper assault transport.

I will toss around the idea also of just using CSM and giving them the mark of Khorne and CC weapons to be my berzerkers. At least then I can include melta guns and bolter rapid firing the turn I disembark from rhinos or land raiders and the enemy is too far away. I will also look into some Warp Talons or Raptors with mark of khorne. I will post the list change later

Game 1 was against Tyranids, went reasonably well and only lost because the game continued to play on. It was Relic mixed with Crusade, my bloodthirster was king of the match by stand in the middle of the table and Killing blow his Exocrine, then wading through 30 Hormagaunts with the aid of my other demon prince, only to be assaulted by the swarmlord and two cronies. I had rampage and was still outnumbered by a few gaunts so I killed off the swarmlord before he could even swing

Land raiders were useful but once they dropped their cargo the sat around denying overwatch but little else, their few shots from lascannons dont make them worth the price tag to have two..

Game 3 was against Tau, there was little cover on the table so it was a turkey shoot from the getgo. I need more bodies to be able to soak up some damage as we close to engage and some covering fire to at least make the enemy duck their heads a bit. Im thinking maybe a vindicator as they seem reasonably scary? Or a defiler?

A similar list to this from a month or so ago did very well, you've got it. It seems the best core to a world eaters list is 2 FMCs and 2 Landraiders
