Not going to witter on, simply as I had a game today and my friend Brother Ectus used my Necrons who have been recently retired. Took some pics on my phone, posted here.

Looking really good! I like the red alot, which colour did you use for that?
Only thing I would add is paint on some 'Ardcoat on the resurrection orb to make it shiny but that would be a personal preference :p

I totally agree that a gloss vanish should have been put on the orb, the red is the dark basecoat GW red (mephiston I believe) and the highlight is evil suns, again from GW.

Hi DakkaDakka gang, I'm a friend and gaming partner of Drachenfels. We had a great battle and I used Drachen's Necrons. They have been on the shelf not getting used for a while as Drachen is working on an amazing Ork hoard. Cheak it out to see some amazing conversions and some crazy cool dakka jets. I really enjoyed using Drachens Necrons they have inspired me to collect them in the future. It was a great battle, Tau v Necrons and it was a draw with only a couple of models left on either side. Its not every day you get to borrow a lovely army and fight against a great opponent on such a nice board, Thanks Drachen, see you soon. Thanks again for the loan of those lovely Necrons.

Hi mate, didn't take long at all. That's one of the great things about Necrons. The silver is very quickly applied then it's just adding the red with a line highlight.

I somehow like this sceme very much.... wait i second i have almost the same sceme on my necrons . But yours look better then mine, great job !
PS: do you mind if i steal your painting sceme for my barge?

When shall we expect the next update to the Salamanders?

Currently putting the finishing touches to my Stormtalon. Should have been done by now but annoyingly real life got in the way and stopped me from finishing. Hopefully soon!
