Is it a part of Diorama?

Hi Lone Cat, not really. I have an AoP board where the speeder will be part of, but it's not really a diorama. But maybe this is a good idea for new project :-)

Beside the IG models I always wanted to add an inquisitor with his gang to my collection.
I selected a dark angel marine and did some moderate modifications to make him my inquisitor. The crusader and the assassin are typical followers but the other two are more special. One is from Warhammer fantasy and became a flamer as weapon and the other is from dust tactics with a fantasy flaming head.
Here is the current gang:

And here in full details:

More photos can be found in my gallery.
Lets see if I can add more guys to the gang in the next weeks, depending on my mood :-)

Wow, its been nearly a year since my last posting...looks like I had not much time for the hobby this year.
Anyway, now I managed to finish 3 HH Marines from the Prospero box:

SirRamirez,

Nothing to be ashamed of, real life can get in the way of our models.

Nice PLOG of interesting conversions and you are still painting so well done.

Cheers,

CB

I never posted what happened to the IG command squad on bikes I made some years ago.....

...after finishing them I thought about how they can be displayed the best and I decided to make a small diorama for them:

And here they are in full glory:

My first imperial knight was finished a while ago. As it was the time when GW released the deathwatch models I decided to paint him also in deathwatch style, his left arm is kept in metal look.
He is from house Thanatos and closely related to the Thanatos 109. Regiment but currently in service of the deathwatch to give heavy support.

The kitbashed Stormlord is finally finished. I mixed up a Manticore and a Stormlord to enhance the Stormlord to a "real" HQ tank.
The story is: this HQ tank is now coming back after a great victory to its homeworld and the troopers who joined him in the battle ride on him in a large parade.

And here some more pics of the tank and the (very) small parade:

More to be found here.

But as you can see here there is still a large empty yellow plate on the Stormlord...

...where the name of the tank is missing.
As the symbol of the Thanatos regiment is the reaper I was thinking to name it "The Reaper" :-) But latest I was listening to Metallica again and find "Harvester Of Sorrow" also a good name.

What do you think?

Hey man, just found this thread now and I tip my hat to you for your sheer vision of this force and various components. There is a lot of life and believability in the models and they all tell a tale. The Stormsword is my favourite for sure. Please do name him The Harvester of Sorrows. Do it for the glory!

On another note, have you ever considered playing the game? WYSIWYG is easily achieved with clarification to the other player and the 109th is surely eager to prove itself for the Imperium...

Alles gute!

Alles Gute r3n3g8b0y, great to hear such a motivating comment from the other side of the world! Your wish is my command and the Stormlord shall be named Harvester of Sorrows. Give me some days to get the decal prepared and I will come back and show the result.

Regarding your other note, no, I have never considered to play the game :-) You are right, the 190th is eager to prove itself in the field but their commander is only into the hobby and the fluff. I was never interested in the rules and creating lists, etc., so the guys might never be able to show their skills...

Over the last months I started creating a small force of infantery, tanks and HW. This time with a new color scheme: grey + orange, but still under the umbrella of Thanatos :-)

Here are the first guys:

Really excellent work. Some fresh ideas and bold choices. Yellow isn't an easy colour to work with and you get some very smooth results.

I'll praise your photography skills too while I'm at it. Well worth the effort to showcase such sterling work.

Hello theCrowe, to be honest I struggled a lot with the photography stuff. Latest I found this lightbox solution.
For single miniatures its really great, it brings its own LED lighting and different background colors. I also took pictures of a tank but it is really small for a tank. In the beginning I tried to make pictures with my SLR camera but I was too stupid to do it rigth, so I finally used my mobile phone :-)

I hope the emperor will forgive me but I really like the traitor guardsmen from the Black Fortress box, so I decided to assemble and paint them.
Once the add on with the traitor commisar was available I also grabbed this one and added them to the guardsmen. Here are some pics of the guys:
