Subject: Phil Fish finally lost it!...literally now.
Phil Fish, former developer of the indie game Fez and known for leaving the industry with a loud bang, has now lost it completely and should be looking for professional help:
One of those misunderstood artist types that needs a hug?
Makes me want to tweet and email him the words "Fez 2".
Post a sign across the street with the words.
Slip a piece of paper under his door with... you know.
Not sure if that is just spite or genuine curiosity of what he would do next.
A revolution is an idea which has found its bayonets.
Napoleon Bonaparte
Anyway, sometimes people go into a very dark place and get self destructive, so where do you fit in the scheme of things when they are filled with self-loathing?
Pretty much covers this in a nutshell: "The last thing I want to do is hurt you, but it is still on the list."
A revolution is an idea which has found its bayonets.

I would sue this guy's butt so hard. Like, literally. He would never, ever be out of debt again and if he cannot pay, I'd take his house, car, etc. I hate people like tha guy
After dabbling in Zoe Quinn...'s case, Phil Fish is in the spotlight again. So SEEMINGLY, all of his private data etc. has been made public along with Polytron stuff etc.
On the one hand, it seems that /v/ is behind it. But on the other hand, it doesn't look like a usual /v/ raid and rather like someone else claiming fame...but alas.
If this bears true, however, it's a highly illegal and unjustified act. Yet...sigh...I really can't be too empathic with him. Not saying that he deserves it, noone does, but...I'd have to be lying to say that I did not smile after reading this.

The only good thing about this thread was the link to TotalBiscuit.
Phil Fish is being deleted from my brain, never knew who he was until now... and as of right...

... now.... I still don't know whoever the hell we're talking about is, whatever his or her name might be.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

There's some suggestions that Zoe Quinn's hacking couldn't possibly have happened the way it did without her doing it herself due to tumblr's security features as well, as well as some suspicious language used in the responsibility claiming, so we'd really be through the looking glass if they both hacked themselves.

"Oh no I've been hacked" is one of the oldest tricks in the Internet playbook. Right up there with "Maybe I shouldn't have posted this" *delete* pretend post was never there and call anyone who remembers it a liar.

Phil Fish is the least important person on the gaming scene. He's less important than you, me or anyone. Even in stories about Phil Fish he's still somehow the least important part of the story.

Hey now, you'll go and hurt his feelings and he'll end up cancelling another game no one knew about.
