Subject: Thousand Sons - primer/basecoat spray?

Anyone got any experience/information on what spray to use for 'speed painting' Thousand Sons? Essentially, I am looking to prime/basecoat blue in one go, wash with a blue and then pick out gold/yellow details. I am looking at the Army Painter Ultramarine blue spray. Is that the right shade? I painted a test model earlier and used the old GW foundation paint Mordian Blue as the base - that seems to be the right shade to me.
I have had a good experience recently using the Halford's BMW Arctic silver paint for my Grey Knights so I am wondering if there is a blue equivalent I can use?

No-one? I'd rather not go the Army Painter spray route given the trouble I have had with their sprays in the past but if there is no reasonable alternative...

I did a few squads of TS using Macragge blue spray highlighted with Teclis blue. It's a smidgen brighter than normal, but I like it.

Any pics of the final result? I'm not entirely convinced by the 'official' GW colour scheme, I think it might be a tad too dark, based on the test mini I basecoated last night in Mordian Blue. My preferred methodology would be spray slightly lighter and wash all over wth blue wash to get the depth of colour rather than start dark blue and try to highlight up.

It's kind of a really subjective thing, you know? I like the blue on Thousand Sons to be a really bright blue, so the Army Painter blue looks about right.
I'm trying to browse the website they've got for their paints at Halford. Looks like they've got a pretty good blue there as well but I'm not sure if they have it in the right type of spray. Their website is absoultely garbage to browse.

Yeah it's not good. I had a quick look but was unable to see the exact shade, formula etc. I'll most likely end up going there tomorrow with a pot of GW paint in my pocket and see if I can match it by eye. From what I can gather, most of the automotive sprays they do are acrylic based so should be OK.

I'll try and snap some pics tonight. Since I've got some primed rubrics ready to go, I'll try one your way and take pictures of that as well. Maybe we can both find something we like! Maybe spray with Teclis blue and then the Guillman blue wash? All I've got are GW paints. :-/

Found a Halfords spray that kind of matches the blue I am after - Fiat 'Capri' Blue. It looks too be a little shiny on first inspection (for obvious reasons, it's a car paint) but it is an acrylic formula so I am going to crack on and paint the mini as a test piece and see how it ends up. I am hoping that a wash and matte varnish will make the end product 'dull down' enough and take some of the shine off.

So I've got the pictures!
I'm not sure how to do that cool pictures in post thing, so they are all at the bottom.
I think the air gun Teclis Blue with the Calgar Blue glaze came out the best TBH.
The grey guy is an example of primer I'm working from. Then you've got the Teclis Blue Spray before the glaze. The dark blue is Macragge Blue spray and then the next one is a teclis blue drybrush on top of the Macragge spray.
The last two photos are teclis blue spray with glaze on the left, macragge blue spray with teclis drybrush on the right.
