I'm looking for good painters and modelers to donate work that I can show off on my Facebook page.

I will include things like a link to your gallery(ies), who you are on DakkaDakka so people can check your gallery(ies) out when they want to, and a few pictures of your models.

Just respond to the thread with an image of one of your models and I'll show it off ^o^

I can provide a link to my page so people can make sure everything is done as stated, but only if requested so it doesn't look like I'm advertising on DakkaDakka.

Dakka doesn't actually have a problem with people linking to their own pages, so long as it doesn't get spammy.

it's more out of courtesy. I try my best to make a good impression with people, especially my favorite forum

I would, but I'm not exactly a brilliant painter :-( There are some amazing painters on this site though (not jealous at all, honest)

just out of curiosity, though, what is the purpose of showing off other people's work on your page???
for example, are you just posting the works of your favorite painters, or helping unknown painters get more exposure???
are you showcasing a particular type of mini, or style of painting???
i am interested in what your idea is here...

Thanks! Ive recently learned its all about having good photography. You can be the best painter in the world but if you dont photo them well they'll never look as good as then could do

I always ask permission before showing other people's work ^_^ it's polite AND it shows good work ethic

Feel free to use any of mine as you see fit, aslong as the work is credited it's nice for people to see my stuff

sorry but I stopped posting pictures of my stuff online since I found people using my work to promote sales of their painting skills or such.

It's a real damn shame that people have to go and ruin it like that. As a fan of home art, I hate it when people illegally use someone else's stuff for making themselves money. It's just rude and it's horrible work ethic.

One thing you could do to help with people using your work, try using a signature card next to your model, or try editing your picture with your signature, if you have a image you could put your signature personalized insignia. If your a comission painter, id recommend it with your personalized website and you can copyright your images to reduce the illegal profit from your work, without proper authorization or recognition to the owner of the image.

for all going past this thread, it will ALWAYS be opened for contribution.
