Plus they're in the Order alliance so if they were gonna get rid of them they would've with the grand alliance book like they did Brettonia.

Are the Seraphon in the grand alliance order book? Or just in the seraphon book? just wondering which one I should get, I never got the seraphon book since I had all the PDF scrolls anyway
I like those screenshot photos, really shows how much nicer all the old minis look with round bases.. never liked the look of square bases personally.. wish I had the funds (and time!) to rebase all of my lizards with aztec looking resin bases.

Seraphon are in Grand Alliance Order. It might not include ALL of the Warscroll Battalions that the Seraphon book has, but it definitely does not include all the fluff goodness.

Who sculpts for GW these days? The two Slaughterpriests are amazing IMO but the guy with the muder/death/kill spear (I bet one of those is actuallly right ) is several tiers beneath them when it comes to anatomy and simple presence. The alternate barbarian head is actually cool, but the torso is just so barrel-y and the arms big lumps in the right place for the represented muscles but without much care or finesse to the sculpting. The Deathwatch faces for the hybrids are pure brilliance.
New Orcs are a big chance to make me buy actual AoS models outside the starter (the priests are just so expensive) instead of Fantasy kits, but only if they have better faces than the last 40k ones. The old Brian Nelson boyz and bosses ruined me for any other type of Orc, be it Mantic, LotR, the more angular nuOrks, whatever.
Giant Orc things (BlOrcs don't cut it anymore when compared to new Chaos and the Sigmarines) that have the size and build of IoB/screaming bell Rat Ogres (or at least Blight Kings) with oldschool heads...drool. Or squigs that have as much character as the old metal squig riders. Decent prices. I'd throw so much money at them.

I don't see savage orcs getting a release because their kits are pretty new and look pretty good.

Want another carnosaur so I'll grab a start collecting box for the free saurus cav and warriors.
I don't keep too up to date, but anyone got any idea what's going on with skaven too?
Pestilens have a book and sets etc
Yet they are splintered into several factions now.
It's another of my armies I was a bit worried about adding to just incase.

The Skaven have been split into pretty predictable factions; Pestilens, Skryre, Moulder, Eshin, Verminus (generic skaven troops), and Masterclan (grey seers, vermin lords). These are all in the Grand Alliance book and feature in the fluff, so I think Skaven are pretty safe overall. They really just lost a handful of named character models but otherwise its the same Skaven we know and love. As for lack of support going forward, I could see Eshin losing its generic troops (but keeping assassin characters), skryre seeing a few cuts to weapon team models (ratling gun and jezzails are still in right now but finecast and old models), but moulder is the only faction I suspect will get bigger cuts or reworking (dated models, stormfiends show up all the time but never normal rat ogres or packmasters).

The other thing to bear in mind is that Skaven are very definitely staying - they've even updated the chaos pantheon to accommodate them.
Whilst it's possible there will be a cull of kits in the future we've already had Grand Alliance: Chaos so GW's first sweep and clear is done as far as Skaven are concerned.
Don't forget that the general rule for force hierarchy (keyword-wise) is Alliance-> Race-> Faction. Breaking out of that hierarchy is totally fine - all the newer Skaven factions mean is that you may lose some synergy - as the majority beneficial of special rules/abilities are factional.
So you can still field your Skaven force. It's just that technically some may have a different agenda to others. So as per usual for Skaven...

To make ammends for drifting a little off topic earlier, here is some actual news courtesy of Darnok over on warseer.
Next week's release will be the next Aos campaign book, set in the realm of beasts but there will be no new minis released
The new Orruks will go on preorder from the 23Rd of April and will include a monster, a cavalry unit, an infantry unit and some clampacks. The style is said to be a new version of black orcs

Well, that would certainly be welcome! I absolutely loved GW's black orcs but it will be interesting to see if the "new version" maintains what was so awesome and intimidating about them

I would love to see a proppa sized plastic Black Orc Warboss/Big Boss, I've always been offput by how small Orc Warbosses were in fantasy compared to their 40K counterparts (I know it was due to ranking issues primarily but now with that gone they have license to give a bigger scale hero size).

How does the Exalted Deathbringer move his arms? I need to
see one in person to see if I'd like it, but for now the picture is
not good. I like the pose and outfit, it's just the body build and
muscles are off.
I do like the Slaughterpriest and the Aspiring Deathbringer.

Amen! I don't believe that AoS mini design is driven by scale creep, but because minis no longer have to tesselate on a 20/25mm square you can have all sorts of poses that weren't previously possible which by definition makes the mini look bigger. Think Eldar Guardians vs. Harlequins, or look at the Fyreslayer vulkite berserkers with their arms spread.

I'm assuming the Monster kit for the Orruks will be the Maw Crusha, and that it'll be the new Wyvern, in which case I can't wait to see it.

I don't think it will be a new Wyvern because so far the illustrations we've saw for it in AoS look exactly like the one Azhag is riding. The Maw Crusha might be something else entirely.

We know that the Maw Crusha is a flying beast with one head, scales, and no forearms except for wings... pretty sure it's a Wyvern!

They might be resculpting it, which would make a certain amount of sense - the basic design of the model is solid, but it is old now. The same way that the new Harlequins are basically the same as the old ones, but with more modern sculpting and tooling.

Cannot wait for the Ironjaw Orruks - there was that free short story that talked about them and said how they were "much taller than the Orruks the Stormcast had cleared out of the Celestial Realm in prep for their beachhead assault on Chaos - that these Orruks were as tall as a Stormcast."
Pretty sure this was a hint at the upcoming models. I would expect them all to be on 40mm and as big as Stormcast/Blightkings - should look awesome!

Yeah the art of the Wyvern still looks basically like the old one just cooler and more vicious (closer to Azhags Wyvern) which I'm totally fine with.
