Subject: Warzone Fenris - Part II - Plastic Rubrics & Magnus / Newest: Plastic Ahriman
Thousand Sons only need one boss man. Ahriman is finecast. Magnus will be plastic.
You'll have a plastic Ahriman before you'll have a plastic Magnus. Probably painted in red though.
Products (rumored by Atia, Sad Panda, Mauler)
- Plastic Thousand Sons Rubric Marines
- Plastic Magnus the Red Daemon Primarch model
In the next Horus Heresy boardgame - release in fall 2016 (rumored by Sad Panda)
- Plastic Thousand Sons for 30k
Age of Sigmar / 40k releases (Source: Sad Panda)
- Plastic Lord of Change from the same artist as Magnus (end of 2016 the earliest)
- Starting with Warhammer Quest Silver Tower there will be many Tzeentch models for AoS (partly crossover with 40k) throughout 2016
Also most likely (currently guesses based on rumors)
- 40k Campaign book Warzone: Fenris II
- BL ebook and printed novel
Collected rumors and information (sorted: newest -> oldest):

Myth no more.
A lot of people over the years claimed the GDs were all finished and claimed they saw them (talking about myths).
All of them curiously missed this particular vintage-epic-inspired-villain next to the only recently finished LoC his design portfolio.
Remember the Warhammer Fest comment about things changing, but not quite as drastic as End Times/AoS? 40K is on the move.

Speaking of Space Wolves, Natfka, I bumped into an old mate last night who had a chap with him who I'd not met before. He said that he knew people working at GW, said that they were working on Warzone: Fenris pt2 at the moment and showed me two grainy photos.
I assume that the delay in pt2 is down to the models involved as one pic was of Thousand Sons in ornate armour that I'd not seen before and the other pic was of a daemonic Magnus. Hard to make out details on him from memory but there was a fair bit of blue & red on him and I vaguely remember something like blue pinions outstretched from his back but I'm not sure if they were wings. Clearly a departure from a Primarch Magnus from FW.
And a plastic Magnus from GW was the last thing I expected to see. It looked legit, but I don't know the chap, so..
Can't get a copy of the pics as they're secret squirrel, but my chum confirms that there are wings on Magnus and it's GW plastic, not FW resin.

From the A-40k-author blog
So many people making crazy/wrong assumptions about the War Zone Fenris situation and I’m just like;
And then I see like one guy out of eighty make the correct guess and I’m silently like;
Also included is my own very first Black Library story, Deathwatch 4: Redblade. The primary protagonist, Drenn, will be returning quite soon for further adventures!
- Spoiler warning - Warzone Fenris I: Curse of the Wulfen -
Spoiler:
War Zone Fenris - the Situation So Far
For those of you who haven’t yet purchased either the novel or the beautifully illustrated rules/narrative package (and I really recommend you do, they’re amazing), massive spoilers under the cut.
The Wulfen have started randomly reappearing from the warp across the Imperium. This frequently coincides with massive daemonic incursions.
The Space Wolves rush to collect the Wulfen before the Imperium discovers them, however the Dark Angels stumble upon them. Both they and the Grey Knights set out to investigate.
There is a huge outbreak of daemonic invasions in the Fenris system - although Fenris itself isn’t attacked, its moon as well as the worlds of Midgardia and Frostheim, and Frostheim’s moon Svellgard, are overrun. The Alpha Legion seizes Morkai’s Keep on Frostheim.
The Space Wolves rush back to reclaim the Fenris System. The first Great Companies back are those of Grimnar, Egil Iron Wolf, Harald Deathwolf and Sven Bloodhowl. Krom Dragongaze is already defending the Fang. Ragnar Blackmane and Bran Redmaw are inbound.
Grimnar and Egil attack the daemons on Midgardia but their assault stalls and Grimnar is lost during a subterranean cave-in fighting four Daemon Princes.
Sven drives the daemons back on Svellgard.
Harald recaptures Morkai’s Keep from the Alpha Legion.
Krom leaves Fenris for its moon to assist the Grey Knights, who have just arrived. They manage to foil a Tzeentch plot to frame the Wolves as traitors in front of the rest of the Imperium.
Just as it seems as though the daemons are being defeated a crusade fleet of 13 Space Marine Chapters arrives, led by the Dark Angels.
Manipulated by the Changeling, they open fire across the Fenris system…
Someone really, really liked the Ahriman novels when writing that conclusion haha.
8000 points of XI Legion the Space Vagabonds, they can adapt their tactics to represent any and every Legion and Chapter as needed because they were created by the Emperor to be the ultimate tactical power. They have faked their disappearance in order to infiltrate every part of the conflicts in the galaxy.
8000 points of Tau/Craftworld Eldar/Necron because the Space Vagabonds can also emulate their wargear and tactics.
Victories: ALL
Losses: NONE (My armies have the psychic ability to conjure a cataclysmic storm whenever they are about to lose. This allows the Space Vagabonds to teleport away while releasing power waves that destroys the battlefield and so every battle is a victory)

Like with Sanctus Reach, Shield of Baal and Damocles GW will probably fill ~2 weeks with 40k (more Start Collecting sets?) and other releases until the second campaign book gets available for preorder.

FSE is rumored to be getting its 7e codex this month. Makes sense to me. It is said there might be a one pack release with it. I wonder what it could be if they choose to release it alongside the FSE 7e codex.
Fairly reliable rumor monger as well. Source is on Advanced Tau Tactica and he knew some things were coming for Tau that no other rumormonger knew about. Just reposting this here so people can have a clue the rumor exists at all.

Unless this is something old - but I haven't seen it or heard of it before.
Grukk isn't snapfit.
Additionally, second part of Sanctus Reach had Krom and his forces fighting against Daemons.
That is true. I hadn't considered that.
So what is the Battle for Vedros then?
It is all pushfit stuff, apparently repackaging Assault on Black Reach models with simplified rules to make a game that can be put out in a way that can be sold in avenues other than at hobby shops.

What part of the current climate of releases would make a rumor of FSE getting their own 7e Codex sensible?
FSE did not have units, just loadouts for units in the Tau Empire codex and some special rules.

Edit
Here is one more of his posts, but I'm still trying to specifically find the one with mention of a possible new model. Though he did say it was only a small chance. This one mentions the new book for FSE, it would be funny if this turned out to be Warzone Damocles PT 3. Though it sounds just like a new codex update. http://www.advancedtautactica.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=23919&st=0&sk=t&sd=a

Their forum searching really sucks by the way. Only way to really do it is manually can't look for specific posts or anything.

I give up can't find the specific post about the new model chance, but it does exist for those with more time than me. Your looking for a post by K'vor.

Sounds more likely that there is going to be an Ork release or further Daemon rules. Did Krom fight any big named daemons during Sanctus reach part two?
Wouldn't it just be like an Ork to sense a big fight his nemesis is taking part in and directing himself in that direction? Perhaps even indirectly saving the Space Wolves?
Edit: can probably sum up all of gamgees posts with 'Tau will be in all the releases. And they will win them all too!' :p

No leaks yet, 4chan had some jpgs which are now depleted but they seem to be the pic from the webshop anyway. GW shipping product a day before release is slowing leaks. Not sure if people got theirs yet.
Regarding FSE. As always read the conversation before the quote. With rumor quotes context is everything. I have not as I was not following these Tau rumors on ATT that closely. But SP is chiming in on a FSE rumor in the topic I linked below. Clearly not a confirmation. But according to him it is not nonsense either. Better not read too much into it and I think it is not connected with the Fenris campaign. But there is chance for re-releases of campaign book rules content according to him.
Sad Panda
It's not impossible there will be a FSE book, which may or may not be reprinting the rules from Mont'ka.
I wouldn't expect many miniatures with it. Probably just be the book, or a single clam-pack at most. There will be several 1-week things 2016.
Didnn't they do collected editions for some of the previosuly released campaign stuff.
I would rather see the neglected codexes get 7.5 treatment than spend mroe time on those who already[b] have it - Marines, Tau, Eldar, etc
Unless the next campaign is the Tau Civil War

In some Collectors Editions are seperate booklets for faction rules. Otherwise, not that I remember. The Cypher dataslate was available in printed form in Codex: DALE.

I never said it was for sure FSE just that there was a decent chance at a book and a very small one at a single model release. What did I ever say that contradicted that (unless that part wasn't directed at me)? Granted I couldn't find the post on ATT but it was there as well as here apparently so thanks for that.
Edit
Morden your making me see a cool cut of the Tau vs FSE war in my head with the sound effects from the civil war trailer the one where they are chanting. Now I wish I could see that movie.
Edit2
Leaving this thread now. Don't want to drag this off topic when its supposed to be about the Space Wolves. Sorry about that. >

Vedros is just a re-release of the 5th edition starter set, assault on black reach (at least the models).
The warlord of that box looked alot like grukk, but clearly not the same model.
Just flipped through "hour of the wolf" (last of the alaric prime/krom campaign).
There is a bunch of anonymous daemons, mostly khorne, and a lord of skulls called "eater of skulls", but
nothing that could be remembered as a "nemesis of Krom", IMO.
The Krom nemesis must certainly be Grukk (it also makes sense with all the other exclusive box characters are beeing blistered).
But the release is perhaps not part of the campaign.
Xeno coalition and Grukk, sounds like a weird mix to throw in with the already messy SW/DA/Daemon/GK situation.

As Grukk nearly killed Krom and stole Kroms Thunderhawk Vengeful Howl he should be Kroms nemesis. Grukk survived the battle on Alaric Prime and escaped as well.
Currently GW does not sell any Warboss with Powerklaw. The warboss with an attack squig is currently sold out as well http://www.games-workshop.com/en-SE/Ork-Warboss-with-Attack-Squig I also noticed that the old warboss was marked under "Last chance to buy" so that's a strong indication that it will be replaced.
Does Krom have any previous enemies except those he fights during the Sanctus Reach campaign?
The only other named charachters that could be a nemesis during the Sanctus Reach campaign is Kaptin Badrukk and boss Mogrok. They both escaped as well.
Before the space wolves arrived at Sanctus reach, Kaptin Badrukk destroyed a Space wolves frigate and a Strike cruiser killing hundreds of space wolves. He also attacked Fenrisian training facilities and protectorate worlds and other lone space wolf crafts.

I am hoping that Orks are in book two and Grukk gets a general release. And they are my primary army's nemesis! I would also be happy if they gave the plastic deff kopta a release in plastic outside of the starter sets that are coming out. Give orks the help they need!

Personally I hope they aren't... The story is already bursting with Chaos - both a massive Daemonic legions and Mortals, with Space Wolves, Dark Angels, Grey Knights and elements from various other Chapters!
Besides, while we're only meant to be the punching bag (again), this is first time that Chaos has had any real spotlight time since the Eye of Terror campaign! (besides 10+ years of lackluster codex releases and barely a drip's worth of new models, with Daemons being the sole exception.)
Orks, Bugs, Tau... you guys had your spotlight campaigns already. Time to let the real 'big bad' of the 40k universe shine for once. (even if it is to just cause some cosmetic damage and then get roflstomped by team IoM)
Hopefully Part II is when we'll see those heavily rumored new Thousand Sons! And maybe if we're really lucky (yeah right!), GW might even update their rules so they're not the game's most expensive useless crap anymore! (doubt it though...)
At the very least, perhaps we'll get some Alpha Legion formation/s to tied us over until 2017. It'd be nice to finally get at least one unit that can Infiltrate properly... considering that iirc, we're the only army left in the game who don't have a single actual Infiltrate or Scout unit in our entire codex.
