Yes i am still trying to choose a color scheme that will fit both the planes and the troopers.

Here is more update Dakka. I did it in a day, but its ready. Its name is Oppa. It flies, and it bombs things. It has dakka dakka too.

For give the blurr, but will be painted next time you see it.

Holy kittens. I found out who was funding the FW flyers so they wouldn't discontinue them

True asscannons there . We need to go fasta, fire the rear guns. It would actually work as your dropping the weight of the ammo and getting e tea propulsion at the same time .

i do my best. This wont be a vulture army tho! I like the model, and the rules are good, but I just dont want any of them.

It is a sound theory that defending yourself results in more ass blasting.

Still trying to decide the paint job I am thinking there will be a dark red in there and some grey, i am not too sure.

Looking seriously impressive, thought of that lot rumbling across the battlefield is pretty scary. I do like the brutal looks of these flyers. Great stuff.

That's an impressive pile of resin, but I can't help thinking you're going to be wishing you had painted those models before assembling them. Having built and painted a Marauder I can tell you that it would have been absolute hell to paint the whole thing in one piece.

Suffering major flyer envy at the moment.

Really like the skittari heads on the Stormtroopers too

will games against this army be played on a 4' x 40" board due to airspeed ? Or is it for tournaments and your army will just strafe tables as you zoom by

Picking up where we left off last time I was assembling my fliers. Minus a couple little do-hickeys (8 missiles on the destroyer) and a wee bit of green stuff here and there on the newest additions, everything is built and will be primed.

The wings come off on almost all the fliers. But the forge world ones due to gap fitting and sanding must be one piece. It should go ok for me, but we will see when i actually get to painting it. Also you are like a guard legend so, hi, I have seen you everywhere on here. Your DKK are nice and i enjoy them a lot.

Envy can't fly, only crash. I am glad you like the head swap, I must add one more detail to the troopers and that will be magazines.

Most tournaments keep the tables side by side. I plan on strafing one lane at a time. It will make many games bombed and smokey. The armies greatest power ends up being its weakest as it can move too much, but that is ok. Alternating turns of devastation is ok for me.

Bomber looks forward to seeing you painted. I always enjoy the saddle, just haven't been posting to dakka as much as i should. I hope to impress you. But I don't want to put standards on myself.

Nope, those are drop troop special planes. I have scions they don't use the drop troop equipment. (Like literally that craft and the buggies.)

Now here is the update on the cockpit. Been looking into colors and decided to be a chicken and go with blue. But, I think it will work out.

Thoughts on the overall look? Needs improvement etc? It will be varnished later for more reflective capabilities.

Thats purdy. Looks excellent. although I have done it my self never really been sure of the painted glass thing, but got to admit that looks good bud.

That looks really cool. Was that all done by airbrush?
