I originally wanted to paint harlequins, but before I dove in I wanted to try my hand at a few things so I didn't mess them up. I am now waiting on my tyranid army to be delivered... I have been working on a few models as I wait. Attached are my first models, I think I'll stick with this theme as I continue to paint.

Great work. You have nice clean lines so you're well on your way to a beautiful bug army. Keep it up.

Just finished a base coat of paint, tomorrow the layer! Base work is a bit sloppy but all will be fixed.

Looking good. If I may give one piece of advice is that you may want to do a second thin layer of your green to complete your coverage. I'm excited to see how that blue comes out on his claws.

It's because if you look at the green you can see the colour underneath it in spots, this is a common occurrence on layer paints as they are designed to allow a bit of the base colour to show through. A second layer will just make sure that your green has total coverage and won't be allowing your base colour to show, making for a cleaner looking model.

I like the colours, people should make more bold colour choices

The rest of my army and Codex should be arriving in the mail today. Super excited!! Currently working on Baby mama (Tervigon), she is almost done. Finishing up the baby bump and front arms. This is the first model that will have magnets (thank you goes to the BF). Pictures will be up within a few days.
