Hello please see below some working in progress ork buildings and defensive walls etc.
More pictures to follow shortly.

Nice work. What did you use as the base for the gate houses?

Old pizza boxes and insulation foam for the structure and base.. the rest was covered in tile grout to make it look like cement

Yes I though about that going to give them a few coats of primer to seal them

Theres a lot of really good attention to detail in these, I love the exposed reinforced concrete and the bits of corrugated iron!

This is some very neat work! I like how the door looks set in the battery there.

Some more pictures of the whole set up the idea is for it to be modular. By adding more walls and corner joins you should be able to build a whole orky base.

Mek boys workshop with large doors and two standard buildings.

Small update on the mek workshop just adding two large doors with chunky hinges rivets and weathering to follow

Walls and battery defence base coaded. I know there is not any real ork terrain or building available from gw is this something people would like to use for there ork armies or am I missing something ?
I know the imperial and space marine have got tones of cool buildings with rules etc why not orky

Small update mek boys work shop all detailed and base costed and the two others detailed and needing some finishing touches,

Thanks very much for you comments, the grey is just a base coat I think I would use a sand stone colour hard to figure out what orks would use mud or concrete ?

Ork buildings always seem to be a vaguely adobe mud kind of style if they're not bolted together scrap metal, but I don't know if there are fluff reasons for that.

Yes thats what i kind of went with a mixture of the two mud with bolted on scrap metal.
gives a good contrast and lots of cool back ground story etc.

Well done David you have nailed the look. I really like how you have cut the plasticard and added a good amount of extra interesting detail to the walls and towers.

This will look epic when its painted up, I'd be proud to let my boyz to run around on a table with this terrain on
