Hello All,

Here is my latest work. An Imperial Missionary model. This I the older metal version of this model. There are lots of details on this model. The overburdened backpack, the staff with Imperial book of scriptures. I added a winged skull to the top of the staff. It just looked too plain without it.

I painted this model to look like he is crossing a muddy battlefield. Parts of him are clean and parts are muddy. I painted two words on his chainsword, "Faith" and "Death." From his perspective to the sword he is always facing "Death" while always showing his "Faith." That is his creed for preaching the Way of the Emperor. This was an enjoyable model to work on. I really liked the mashed skull with the jaw out of place. I feel like it gives the base that look of a muddy field that has seen battle after battle take place. I pinned his chainsword arm to the torso and pinned the model to the base. He is clear coated. The model is currently up for auction on eBay if anybody is interested in him. Here is the link to the auction: https://www.ebay.com/sch/dman89/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=50&_sop=1

Comments and criticisms are always welcome.

Thank you for looking.

D.

Supebr. Recently painted up this guy myself (not as well, of course). One of the best minis of that line. One of the minis which is a perfect example of the absurdity of 40K...without going over the top to the point of making it a tough model to transport, etc.

Just the right amount of grimdark.

Great job. The colors are all extremely saturated, it really pops. Btw, did you edit the photo to make it so vibrant?

Thank you, I did not edit the photos to be more vibrant. Only cropped the photos. I use nine 100 watt Daylight bulbs to light the models. One overhead the rest in various positions of a semi-circle around the front of the model.
