Here is one of my latest works. An Eldar Phoenix Lord - Maugan Ra.

This is the metal version of this model. It is pinned to the base. I made the base to look like part of an Eldar ruin. The model is clear coated with Testors spray dull coat and the gems are clear coated with brush on Vallejo gloss coat.
This is a venerable GW model, been around a long time and they still make it. But I think it is now made with resin. Which I am not a fan of. This model was part of a boxed set of 40K Villains that GW released several years ago. The "Enemies of the Imperium" boxed set.

The model was primed/based in Army Painter Black spray with a follow up of thinned out AP black brush on to get all the crevices. Highlighted with various shades of blue/grey. With bone/white trim colors. The colors are very stark on this model but he is supposed to be the "Harvester of Souls" so that seems to work.
