Mate nothing gets past me! Haha I think I actually saw it when you had just uploaded it but before you'd posted it on here. Naturally asumed it was something I'd missed.

I'd camp outside your house if I thought I could get a sneak peek of what ya up to in there...just as long as it isn't more 'fat man' stripping! *shudder*

I like how spoilers still show up on the dakka front page

Interesting mix of miniatures. Head from Isabella, legs from that other vampire countess, upper body is from the saint right?

That's what it looks like to me, too. Throw in some dark eldar arms and a dire avenger sword, and we have a conversion

Baiyuan - Indeed you got all the parts right. I wish her torso was finecast or plastic though. So what do you think?

prime12357 - You're forgetting the metric ton of purity seals, psiocculum and and the parts to make the dire sword into a combi handflamer.

Dexter - The skull are probably staying with some chains added up to her crotch area. Or going completely which might make more sense. Either way it is finecast and great for conversions.

All the buildings are now Badassed Blacked. Now they need Devlan Mudding. So by the end of Thursday I should have dry brushers elbow.

Not sure how many of you visit Molotov's Inq28 blog but I think this post is well worth a look. A showcase of KrautScientist 's excellent and inspiring Inquisitor Warband.

KrautScientist - Your Inquisitor retinue is that good. Good to hear your Inq stuff will make an appearance in these here parts.

Very WIP Inquisitor, tacked together for a general look at her pose. The sword in her right hand will be getting replaced with a powersword/hand flamer combi weapon. The bolt pistol is from FW Renegade Militia Enforcers. I got rid of the skulls handing near her feet too, much better now.

Any suggestions for a subtle power generator on her back?

She's looking good. I was eyeing up that vamp for a very similar conversion, though I'd not thought of outright replacing the body. Look forward to seeing her progress.

Rogue - Cheers

endtransmission - Thanks. I hadn't considered replacing her torso until I got the vampire model and realised she had a god awful face/head and too much hair to trim off. Found celestines torso (how I wish she was finecast). Then they released Isabella who had the perfect head.

inmygravenimage - got a few sentinals hanging about....I shall have a looksee. Cheers

Now that is one nice looking character it flows so well, great choice of parts and has a real nice stance.

Will you be adding any accessories and if so what will these be

LDD - I'm not sure actually. She will have a =I= on her right shoulder pad and another little one between her armoured boobs. Lots of purity seals down her dress.

In fact if anyone has any suggestions on how to debattlesister her torso it would be a great help?

I actually like the current-sword in her hand. It "suits" her, moreso than her hefting the standard broadsword-type power weapon. Although, if you're doing to flamer-combi weapon... I think that'll suit as well.

Lookin' great, through! Can't wait to see a paint job on her as well!

Give us a close up of it and I will have a think although do you want the =i= between her chest or underneath them

I think you need to 40k her a little maybe some Kind of power pack even if a small one, how about smoothing some of the ruffles at the back a little.

I know this does not add anything but might help it seem less busy and more battle ready, I would like to see some kind of =I= relic hanging from her waste myself and maybe a holster

The thing is not to over load her as the style and look is so great, so don't add or adjust to much IMO

Beautiful work so far. Loving the mix of bits you've chosen, and as always I'm doing my best to stay focused on what I'm doing with my current work-in-progress and not fly off on a tangent and attempt to re-create one of your masterpieces (which it looks like this will doubtlessly be).
To de-SoB her, you've already taken the major step of removing the fleur-de-lis from her shoulder and gorget. The only extra step I can think to recommend at this point would be to remove the ribs running vertical on her boobs, since that's a pretty consistent feature with the SoBs.
You seem to have done a really flawless job removing the skulls from within her dress. Did you carve them out with your knife, or bore them out with a dremmel tool?

I really like the idea and her posing, but I feel that her upper body and shoulders are a little too large for the rest of her frame, and are pulling her out of proportion. As for a backpack generator, I've used the coils from a plasma pistol a few times, and that seems to work pretty well. I'll be looking forward to see how this one turns out.

Cheers!

Nice work mate! Looking forward to the sword swap...it'll be interesting to see how you make a combi-weapon to scale for such a dainty model.

She'd look pretty cool with one of the Cadian hazardous packs. I might have a spare torso kicking around.

I think the SoB corset part fits nicely with the big dress and bustle, but I'd look at up-armouring the breasts and throat area a bit so that it fits more with the massive shoulders.

I'm also thinking that the leg armour needs to be smoothed out a bit as it's too sharp and angular compared to the smoother flow of the SoB armour plates

Looking very nice, Peter! You did a great job in combining pieces from different models into something that looks like it was meant to belong together in the first place! Extra kudos for building a female Inquisitor (Inquisitrix?!) - I think that's quite a bit harder to pull of than the male version!

I am pretty jealous, you know

Good, but I'm sure it will all come together much better once finished/painted. I welcome the weapon swap, the sabre somehow doesn't work for me, couldn't say why.
For the backpack, if needs to be really small and subtle you could copy what I did on Samarianne: Greyknight Apothecary tubes with cabling cut of and some GS added. The hazard cadians have very nice backpacks, but I think it would dominate the model too much.
