Got mine yesterday. Very nice book. Poster is beefy and mine is made of some sort of card. Solar Auxillia is an interesting list at first glance. No Chimera hulls, super heavies as Heavy Support options though no Minotaur's included for some reason. Stormhammer looks wicked. Loads o' gunz (10 of them!!). There's a picture of it in the book. Automatically Appended Next Post: Valdor tank hunter is nice. It lost the stupid feedback rule and is actually a decent tank hunter now. Similar to the Sicaran Venator. Leman Russ Incinerator with Volkite Demi-Culverin (Think Volkite Culverin except approaching Plasma Cannon stats. Still only AP5 though) in Squadrons of 3.

Leman Russ Squadron is a Fast Attack Choice - can choose from standard tank, Annihilator, Vanquisher and Exterminator
Bombards can be upgraded with Seismic Shock Shells - Adds Concussive and Sunder
Infantry Tercio can take an Aegis Defence Line instead of Dedicated Transport without using up a Force Org slot

Its worse when you've brought all of them as they were released and had them commission painted. FW really drives me up the wall with its bundles, always releasing them just after I brought the bits separately.
Most of the bundles look to be at a good discount, quite fancy the Brass Scorpion bundle.

Everything else I've heard is bitching however. The Malcador is such a nice looking model, but may very well be the worst superheavy in the game. As a heavy support, well, it actually has a role.
Therefore, I conclude, Valve should announce Half Life 2: Episode 3.

Yeah, I agree that the fully traversing double turret looks better. In any case, I don't see most gamers having an issue with you using a double turret model as long as you voluntarily limit the front turret to an arc consistent with the official model.

Lmao... you can only make one legal dreadought out of that bundle.... Good grief.
Looks legal to me, sonic dread comes with sonic blaster + chain fist. The former can be replaced with blastmaster and/or the chainfist replaced with missle launcher. Or are you referring to the fact that only one of the dreads has the doomsiren modeled on top? Kinda curious why they would sell it like that, the two dreads are otherwise identical

They are selling 2 dreadnoughts, a sonic and a regular. You get 2 dreadnought models, but can only field one of them without buying another arm or 2. You can either use the sonic variant or the regular one, the sonic weapons can't be used by a regular dreadnought.
As far as i can tell, all their bundles come with enough stuff to field all the models without buying extra (i could be wrong here).
EDIT: Actually, you can't field a regular dreadnought, the chainfist and missile launcher are on the same arm.....

Personally I much prefer it to the original design, and while I understand a lot of folk wanted "THAT Stormhammer", the new weapon layout makes far more sense - the old secondary turret could only traverse through the front arc anyway without shooting its own tracks off, so a Malcador-style mount works fine, and the old "yo I herd you liek turrets so I stuck turrets on yo turrets..." setup for the sponsons was odd IMO.

I'm actually a fan of the new stormhammer design. The double turreted version just looked too busy and messy. This version I can actually picture being a real tank and looks very compact and deadly.
