@killmaimburn - thanks, on the dreads, I'm just doing GS filling work on the slaanesh, and more on his mouth. More pics soon.

@c0un7 - thanks hope the tut helps, the sorcerer will be taller then he's getting a cloak, which I'm dreading making, but going for it anyway

Might just be the picture, but is the sorcerer looking up abit? Can't be sure, but the arm looks like it should point abit up, so it's the same angle as his eyes are looking.

If I saw this chaos army on the tabletop fully painted, I'm pretty sure it would auto win just because it would be a crime to try and defeat models this amazing. Seriously love the raptors, and the lightning on the demon prince looks awesome.

I was sceptical about the finger repositioning thing when you mentioned it, but it looks amazing! I always loose at least one finger when I try that.
on a side note, I have worked on a possessed jump pack of my own, and would love some feedback from you!

I have still to do the aspiring raptor, with power claws, and I really want to do a dreadclaw, but have managed not to order one until I finish these guys, phew that is the most difficult thing ever

I need to do some serious GS work on this guy when I try to put a robe on him. In my head it will be blowing about from the force coming of the lightning, may take a while

Great job on both the hand and the lightning (on the rest of the models as well but it's already been said )

I really like the general position of the model, and if you manage to do what you have in mind for the robe, it would really be one of the best sorceror model I've seen.

That lightning is awesome! As for your dredclaw and your abilty for conversion, have you even noticed how much a plastic Dr. Pepper bottle looks liike a dredclaw or drop pod? It might take too much work to make it look really good, but if anyone could do it, you could! Just an idea, I was going to work on something like that, but I have so many unfinished projects I'll never get around to it!

Any updates? I do have a question for you Tipios. I really like your Havoc with the Autocannon, but I don't have thos bits...do you think it would look bad to use a Reaper autocannon that I ripped off of a metal terminator for a Havoc? Or should I use something else? Thanks! Look forward to seeing more stuff!

No problem Blackhand, it's a great conversion idea, did you think of putting a daemon head on the end?

I think RSjake wants to build his with out buying any more bitz than he has.

@RSjake - I think that could work, I have one at home, I will look at it tonight and give you my idea of how you could do it, unless you have already done it

@ Blackhand, yeah, I don't have the plastic heavy bolters or the IG autocannon bits, but I have to admit, those do make great looking Marine autocannons! I have old metal guns and models that I want to use for my Chaos Marines...I'll most likely invest in newer plastic or resin models and bits when I start my Pre-Heresy World Eaters!

@ Tipios, I haven't started on the Autocannon yet, what I have, I hacked off of a metal Chaos Terminator...I used the shoulder pad and upper arm for an Obliterator conversion. My question is, would leaving both barrels be ok, or should I chop off the lower barrel and move the support with bayonet up? I made a crude example on MSPaint...

I do of course have some of those sweet gargoyle heads on order from Hoard-o-bits on ebay! And thanks for the all of your inspiration and advice! ...And any updates in the future? And sorry for the thread-jack!

Thanks C0un7

@rsjake - I would say chop it up, it makes it more unique, and nobody can moan at you that Havocs don't have twin linked autocannon. Did you lose the orignal hand when you cut it off? It's gona look really cool

Thanks, I was leaning that way, just wanted to get your opinion, I'll have to do some sculpting over the bottom ejection port, but that's do-able. I don't think the hand is usable...like a moron I used cutting pliers instead of a hacksaw...the skull on the spike is ok though! Thanks again! I'll see if I can get a mock-up worked on in the near future!

BACK but missing my 1mm pining drill bit:(

So much to finish so I thought the first thing I should do now that I have access to a work space, is start a new project

It's a Tzeentch Terminator Lord. I love the grey knight armour, so had to try it. I plan to replace the writing with piping. Head needs more adjusting, to fit further back in the body. I've got Termie lord legs on order, and the arms are th greyknight termie ones that has both hands holding the lance. The lance will then become a chaos staff. I wanted to pin these on, but need to buy new 1mm drill bit first, so will show later.

Next, wings will be fitted, they are the Dark Eldar scourge feathered wings. They are very nicely detailed, and I think suit the tzeentch theme. Again had to hold in place because lost my drill:( and can't pin them, also can't even find any blu-tac in the flat. WTF going shopping tomo, for many 1mm drill bits and blu-tac

More updates soon
