I'm impressed with your eBay rescues. That's dedication to cheaper models. Also skill.

@Dinamarth- Yeah, I hear you. It's just I was planning a SW army and that damn chariot ruined it for me. I should probably stop belly acheing about it. Regardless of my opinion, it is still a very impressive model.
@Warboss Waaazag- Thanks man, I appreciate it. Rescuing those guys adds a new challenge for me. It can be a beat down though.

The Hydra is top notch. I can't even tell you rescued it. Yeah the game is kinda getting a bit different with the whole chariot rise.

@panda- glad to hear you got it situated. Need more purple marines.
I have had a busy week, not a lot of hobby time. I may be able to finish these guys this weekend. On another note, I lost the motivation for the Ork army. Frankly I just didn't feel like shelling out all the cash. Sold it, did keep the stompa. I still plan the Blood Angels, for now anyway.

So, I did find some time to make some progress. The second rescued Russ, a few infantry and the good Colonel. I think I'll work on some snipers next. Proper pics once the units are done.

Finished up the sentinel squadron. They will be attached to the 34th Company to serve as outriders. The weathering and markings will be added with the rest of the company to keep from changing model by model. Snipers should be finished soon.

Well, Paradigm, if it's more you want, how about 6 snipers, a special weapon squad and a WIP basilisk. I'll post better pics once they are based.

Thanks man, finished the basilisk. I can't believe how much the shaded recesses adds to these tanks. I could kick myself for not doing it sooner.

The first Chimera, some snipers and a special weapon squad. One platoon will have a melta squad, the other plasma. The snipers didn't turn out as nicely as I had hoped. Maybe should have painted the cloaks a darker color. I was thinking it should match the base, meh. This army is almost finished.

Like the title says. Still need to finish the Basilisk crew, but otherwise they are done. Finished 2 kit bashed advisors and a plasma special weapon team. Just a few more infantry and I can focus on tanks and markings. Think I have 3 more and 2 flyers. Good times.

@noodles- glad you are liking the army. As for the pics, I have no idea. I updated my iPad and iPhone, maybe that had something to do with it.
@sieggfried- I was considering some Ogryns, but will probably pass. This project is already over 100 infantry, 12 tanks, 2 fliers and a knight. I don't think I could cope with anything more.
@paradigm- thanks man. I'm working on his wing man now.
I also have a commissar and the second chimera finished l try to post them tonight.

So, the commissar turned out nicely. Fairly dark though, so I decided to let his weapons stay silver. Also knocked out the second Chimera for 10th Company.

So, if one is interested, they can check out the ebay rescue before picture on page 3. Those guys soaked in simple green for nearly two weeks. They had at least 3 coats of paint. blue over green. And white over blue. Probably 10 coats of white. Also had tons of little bits all over them. Anyway, they were cleaned, repaired and ready for war. One of them got a new Leman Russ barrel so he can also be a Vanquisher. Im sure he is pleased. I wasn't able to get all the glue spots off or fix a couple damaged areas. May try with plasticard. Also plan to weather them and use the imperfections as a guide. Anyway, closer and closer to completion. I looking forward to being done so I can tackle the Knight.
