Warlord Games Update

Salute 2015 is almost upon us!

The orders are flooding in, the plans have been finalised. In roughly 3 weeks time Warlord Games will join over 100 other traders and 8000 excited customers in the EXCEL arena in London’s historic docklands district.

This year the South London Warlords have been working very closely with the guys and gals at Games & Gears to produce a HIGH QUALITY, LIMITED EDITION, THREE BRUSH STARTER SET to go on sale at SALUTE 2015. These sets will be on sale at the Warlords information stand on the day priced at £20.00 per set. We have a very limited number of these available, so be sure to make the information stand your first stop.

We are really pleased with this first ‘starter’ set that Games & Gears have produced for us and hope that we will be able to expand this ‘limited edition’ range every year.

As a wargames club, we hold an internal painting competition every quarter for our members, and this quarter, Games & Gears very kindly donated four sets of their brushes to give away as prizes to the winner of each section.

I've already got a few bits and bobs from them but with this order I will complete my Bushido (shogun Japan), Malifaux (Deadmans Hand, going for a wasteland old west theme set just outside Malifaux). Just started also getting a few bits for DZC, I really like there tiles but am trying to come up with an idea on how to securely connect. I seriously think there tge best out there. I just wish they would do some 28mm scifi scenery.

About Salute and Halo, there is a bust of a commander that you guys are offering if I preorder Spartan Games' product? Is it a bust of a Halo character, or a random bust? If it is a Halo character, are they previously named? Is this exclusive to Wayland? What is the price comparison (as a percentile) between Wayland and Spartan Games? Do you guys do a discount? What can you tell me about all this? Is the Halo game you are referring to the Fleet or Ground based game? Or both? Do I have to be at Salute to be able to order? Being in Australia makes it a mighty long Kangaroo trip to Salute.

I'll have a small amount of pre release of the first from my Shieldmaiden range, a brave step into the world of miniature manufacturing, (aside from my two Baggy the Bag Models!), lots more to follow, eventually a troop set. 28mm scale and fit with all popular dark age miniatures, although they will work ace as characters, they fit in as regular troops fighting alongside the dudes.
