1) Soul Devourer states "The Daemon counts as armed with a power weapon". Smash: "All of the close combat attacks . . . of a model with this special rule are resolved at AP2 . . . "
Could one therefore choose a Power Mace as the power weapon for +2 S and concussive, while retaining Ap2 on Daemon Princes and Lords of Change?
2) Does Unholy Might count as a modification for things like Vector Strike, where unmodified strength is asked for? Unholy might is a direct change to the statline of the model, but I'm unsure.

Daemons don't have flying MC's, do they? EDIT - I lied, Bloodthirsters and Lord of Change are, which implies demonic flights does give it.
Unholy Might is pretty much useless now. Without the 2d6 to pen, if you want to kill vehicles you want smash and then you're S10. The only time it would help is you weren't already wounding T4 on a 2+.

Daemonic flight makes monstrous creatures in the daemon codex flying monstrous creatures. Looking at the power weapons section, if the power weapon isnt stated as a specific weapon (sword etc) you basically you look at the model and say hey he has a sword..axe watever and use the rules for that type of power weapon. Going by that couldnt you just make up a model with the weapon type you want because of how soul devourer is worded? I agree about unholy might, just use smash to kill vehicles.

Id say for vector strike, because it says unmodified str then unholy might doesnt count towards it. It just uses the base str on the models profile before you buy upgrades and such.

+1Str is a modifier, by definition.
Your attacks are always AP2, so no mater what weapon you use you are AP2 if you have the Smash rule.

Well, the wording on Unholy Might is "The model has +1 Strength on its profile." But yeah, that does suggest a modifier.
That seems to make it a bit harder to take down enemy flyers. Oh well.
