I like it. The face on the helmet seems a bit iffy, but a different paint job may bring out the best in it (or hide it).

Doubt I've got the £70+ it'll cost to buy, but I can still admire it from afar

I'll be the voice of dissent here and say I think it looks fantastic. The Lord of Battle was one of the first models I ever bought and I always wished there was a way to field one in 40k, while also being sure that something so odd would never see production. I'm also impressed by the level of detail, especially in things like the front dozer blade o' skulls - I can see saying you don't like the way it looks, but to say it's not a high quality, detailed model is pretty silly.

As for not liking the way it looks - well, this is all a part of a throwback to the aesthetic of the old Realms of Chaos, Lost and the Damned books and early GW Chaos, just like the Bloodletter chariots that were released. Frankly, I think that's a nice change from the increasingly bland models that have made up the Chaos range (I have plenty of Chaos Marines, but I find them pretty boring) and also a much preferable direction to that of the Heldrake and Fiends. But again, it's disingenuous to act like this is crap art direction that just comes out of nowhere; it has a very clear source and is clearly part of a directed effort.

My only complaint is that it will probably be even more expensive than the Wraithknight, and thus out of my price range.

I think the head is painted poorly. Yet again, the current team is choosing paint schemes that don't photograph well.

Individual elements look great, but again they've been fused into a giant oggly poggly thing.

At least the dozer blade skulls can be nicely covered, it's the random Juggernaught heads that're the stupidest idea on it, imo of course.

Interesting to see what else gets released for apoc, I can see the new apoc rulebook, hitting the same price as the BRB tbh.

It's entirely possible they're part of a weapon system as they on a big tank.

Just sayin'

EDIT: HO-LEE gak! That Monolith on the left is goddamn awesome!

Looks like it has some sort of Organic material growing in it. Could be the blurry picture though.

If that's the new Monolith colour me impressed.

Grainy, but I THINK I like this one. I still want more than just Khorne and Crons.

Wonder if they'll go the obvious route and call it a Megalith.

Hmm, that mega-monolith. Interesting that it has two variants in that pic.

That bloodknight is so horrible, I just can't stop laughing at how bad it is.

Supposedly there's a C'Tan inside one of those Monoliths, probably the open one.

You know, the open one...Looking at the bits inside, it almost looks like some kind of "energy" flow kind of in a dragon shape. Or, I'm imagining it.

Monoliths look fine.

I honestly can't believe someone signed off on that Khorne tank though. And hopefully Eldar have something more to look forward too other than a Knight Squadron :/

Hard to believe they wouldn't follow up the Eldar release with an Eldar apocc model.

If that's a conversion then it is the most amazing conversion ever done - even if you don't like the resulting model. The torso alone is making GK players jealous, wishing they could do that to their Knight so it wouldn't look like it belongs in a 40k parody of the Hangover.

Whatever it is, I don't think I've ever seen a model that made me burst in to giggles like this before...

I just can't stop laughing whenever I look at it. It's so bad... it's quite possibly the most ridiculous and stupid model that GW has ever made. Bar none...

If it wasn't probably massively out of scale, I'd wait for bitz sellers to get hold of these so I could repurpose that chest section for a DK.

If you squint a little bit it does look a little like the mortal kombat dragon.

It really is funny to watch crowds of people long for the old days, and when they translate old minis into an up to date form, crowds of people decry its aesthetics and how it "doesn't fit".

Just thought I'd put a stop to it before the internet echo chamber thinks it's named that.

It has specific elements that fail; but it's far from unsalvageable.

Once it comes out, I'm going to do a test fit to see if it's possible. If it is, the chest will probably be one of the most expensive bits on that kit.

An excuse to sell 3 WK to every Apocalypse Eldar player I see.. GW will add a formation, I'm sure.

Maybe someone can mod it so I stop laughing every time I look at it, but that as an official model?

Seriously, my lungs hurt from giggling at that thing. It's so stupid, I can't help it.

It might be a bit too big. Assuming those Juggernaut heads are the same size as the ones on the Bloodcrushers; then that is one big ass kit.
