I just wish Forgeworld still carried their terrain pieces. They were so much better looking than GW terrain...

I'm just waiting for the second batch of pics to pop up and everybody will change their mind. Just like with the deamon flies and the Tau fighter/bomber.
I'm expecting an Imperial Knights supplement dedicated to GW's loyalist apologetics. Codex: White Knights "In the grim dark future, everything is fine."
"The argument is that we have to do this or we will, bit by bit,
lose everything that we hold dear, everything that keeps the business going. Our crops will wither, our children will die piteous
deaths and the sun will be swept from the sky."

I see what you did there.

So theres 30 some pages to this thread already and thats a bit to read but is anyone able to summarize what any rumors are for apoc? new models?rules? From what Ive heard myself was the chaos looking super heavy circus looking tank, and the necron monolith, also heard apoc fortifications, and possibly tyranids getting a harpy? any of this heard yet?

All that that I've caught from this thread has been the picture of the Khorne-thing on the cover, and the mega-Monoliths. Some people pointed out that the Baneblade and Stormlord kits have been partially pulled from the website (they're still there, but you can't place an order.)

Doubt this'll happen until the next codex. Even then, I wouldn't be surprised if they took the opportunity to scrap what they had and redesign a better flyer for them (and also as a way to say screw you to third parties who have made models for them).

Based on the amount of stuff released each month for the past year, I'd expect that Kornmower with Skulldozer and the Megalith are the only two vehicles. Those along with the book and the terrain will likely be all that GW will release next month. Oh, and it's likely we'll see "package" deals base on Apoc formations where you can get all items at once instead of having to buy them all individually for the exact same price.

29th
Automatically Appended Next Post: Storm trooper squad 1 in troops section for Imperial guard? hmmmm mix up?
Automatically Appended Next Post: A lot of the kasrkin single troopers are gone as well, possibly a plastic set with apoc?
Automatically Appended Next Post: Moridian iron guard moved to troop section? I dont remember them being there except under the collectors.
Rough riders only have their command unit. A lot has been changed around for the IG.
Word on the street is GW is out of the metal model business so all Specialist games and collectors series went OOP this month.
If some metal IG are showing up on the site then it either means they're going Finecast, or GW is not quite out of the metal business (good news for Sisters players) or they still have some stock to run out.
Probably nothing to do with Apoc.

Well, the interesting thing about it is storm troopers are in the troops section when they're elites in the current codex. Though it's probably just a mistake that has nothing to do with any upcoming releases.
There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

Given that the first Apoc release came with a number of models besides the Baneblade, I'd put some stock in the rumors of at least some more Space Marine masters of the Chapter. Maybe a second set to add to the current set?

Of course not

Has there ever been a lead time of 2 weeks before on pre-releases? I'm just curious.
I thought they did it once before, but now I can't remember. Maybe just before 6th was released. As of late though, with the new GW patteren, I would say no. Then again, maybe GW needs the extra time to make sure they can fill out the orders now.

Wise. Overselling for a release or two (or not making enough stock, however you want to see it) might be excusable, but chronically for every release, not a good idea.

All major rulebooks (Apocalypse may be considered one) and starter boxes, then several big kits like e.g. Wall of Matryrs plus the new paint range.
Other extreme are some English mail order rulebooks like Death from the Sky and Iyanden, that have no preorder at all.
