You need permission for that?
Exactly my point.
Permission is already given within all FW books that they are part of the 40k core system. Any house rules that prevent you from using FW or an FW list are just that - house rules.

Anyone have any theories on if the Stompa will get reboxed? Im thinking about buying one, but im not sure if I should grab one now while its cheaper or wait for the rebox which will hopefully have some more bits and options.

It is still able to be ordered from GW's online store, the BB/SS are not. I don't think it'll get any new bits, but may get jacked up in price to match the others, regardless.

The current Stompa is a fantastic kit, and you get tons of bitz left over as it is. I've used mine to build an Aegis, help convert up a Biker Boss and convert a Trukk into a Battlewagon. And I've still got this massive Bossplate I need to use somewhere!
is there a reason the chaos warhound was in the latest trailer? Could we be getting plastic warhounds?? I know, I know,... "hope is first step on the road to disappointment" But still...?

Alright good to know, I was just thinking that they might add in bitz for like, a belly gun or deff arsenal or something and it would suck to miss out on that!

Yeah... no. It's just in there because it's a teaser for Apocalypse, but showing us new stuff would require revealing what they are releasing more than 3 and a half seconds in advance, which would bring about the utter destruction of the wargaming hobby as we know it.

Riptide 65€, Wraithknight 90€, 125€ for a Monolith variant. So they raise the price for the prime plastic product by 40% PER MONTH! Now that's a stealth price hike. That would mean, December Hobbit starter box will be 672€
Anyone know if this will also include the shadowsword variants? Or is it a repackage that drops those variants!?
since the shadowsword variants are, AFAICR, on the same sprue as the shadowsword bits itself that would be absurd. seems every baneblade now comes with every option - which means that all the shadowsword kit bits I desperately want to buy for damn cheap will soon be available in sufficient amount at long last

Yep, guns of both are all on one sprue. Most likely the box will have all the bits for both tanks in it, and GW is using "huge dual kit with a ton of bits!" as the excuse why the same unit gets a +33% price hike.. Which is why all of their expensive dual kits exist, really.

Oh Geez. There is no plastic warhound. No plastic Thunder hawk. The warhound is in the trailer because it is a unit that is used only in apocalypse. No where else. In a trailer for the new edition of Apocalypse, it makes sense that an Apocalypse only unit is there.

Compel wrote: I've never seen a shadowsword kit, isn't a huge chunk of the upper superstructure completely different to a baneblades?
Yep. The tank hull is the same, the difference is the upper structure - basically SS has high turretless superstructure and BB has low superstructure with a separate turret. IIRC there's two different sprues in the kits: the first sprue is the different superstructure for each tank. The second sprue is turret + two gun options for BB, and six gun options + some structure bits for SS.
So, move two sprues to the other kit - bam, a dual kit. Now that I think about it, they could have done it at any point.. Apparently a change in the sales strategy, then.

Here is a side-by-side. Left = Baneblade, right -= Shadowsword. To answer your question, yes. The hull is on a separate sprue. The sprue for the guns, sides, undercarriage (I think) and tracks are the same.
