Hmmm...I can't seem to find out where the pics are posted up on Cool Mini. They aren't on the Crystal Brush Page - Just the winners. You have any links Gits?

I only found mine when I accessed it at the event from my phone. I still have that page open, but I can't do anything with it. You aren't missing much , there aren't any scores , comments or anything. TBH I don't really get the CMON site... all your doing is giving away the rights to an image of your mini for no apparent purpose.

I know your Nid had 400+ views when I checked it.

Wow, those shirts look GREAT! I'm proud of the new Maelstrom Quartermaster!

Maelstrom Quartermaster was actually split between the various members . I was responsible for the shirts.

The 3d terrain posted on page 1 was indeed for space hulk (made by spaceship-X and run by BOD, a local gaming club called Basement of Doom, I think?).

Mannahnin played in the first space hulk game Saturday, and got to the reactor on the final or second to last turn with his blood angel captain to win . Waaagh_Gonads and I played in the Saturday night space hulk game, running both sets of Genestealers and eating the marines before they could get to the reactor

Was probably the most fun I've had at an event at AdeptiCon, or any convention- highly recommended! And only $5 to participate, but you have to register for it really early as it sells out.

Did you need to provide your own figures?

DeepWars looks very cool I had the rulebook at one time but sold it before I got round to reading it.

The rules from what I picked up on are very interesting giving the game a very 3d feel. I might have to look into it again.

filbert Firestorm Games also sells the models in the UK.

Right on. Glad you and Gits liked it so much. Most people don't like sour ales, so I only brought a couple of bottles. Next year, I'll try to bring more.

By the way, here are what the labels were supposed to look like:

Both were excellent YB, but I did find the sour ale particularly refreshing! We need to get you a new labeling set up so they stay on the bottles!

Come to think of it, i didnt get the chance to try that second one! D:
Really enjoyed the Brown Ale, though!!

Always appreciate hanging out with you guys- Im illiterate when it comes to beers, so its nice to have people who have the pallette and know-how to drink with!

Next year Im gonna have to mix up some sort of themed punch or other drink. Contribute to the team theme other than eating a whole buncha paint

I loved that boarding action display shown above! I believe they won an award, although what it was escapes me at the moment.

Couple of displays/armies I really liked and took more than one photo of to show off the painting...

Really neat Eldar space display.

Nice Tyranid / SM display. Shows what effect you can achieve with some relatively simple airbrushing techniques.

Some other armies I thought were interesting... (the names are mine, not those of the army owners or teams).

"An Affront to God and Man" (because it is... love the cinematic effect on the rocket though)

"HansCrons" (local team painted by a friend of mine)

"A Study in Yellow" (ouch...)

"Silkdar"

"Stainless Steel Tau" (I wonder if they're dish-washable?)

Some of my favorite items from the Crystal Brush competition.

Emporor's Fools by our own moonpie!

Somefin' orky!

Not gaudy, but amazing none-the-less.

My very favorite (not surprisingly).

Some more of the Giant Nid display

And as seen before..

Another top 10’er

Nercon Air force

The mixed up team: Chaos. Nids, Tau and SM’s

Lots of great stuff guys.

I hate to say it, but I don't think I got a single picture of my own display. We set it all up for the judges. I spoke with them and then ran to the bathroom. On the way back I ran into RiTides and we got to chatting. By the time I returned, the display had already been dismantled and the guys separated for our next round. I was a bit bummed out by it.

Really glad to hear you enjoyed the Space Hulk event. I had a blast running it. Usually comes down to a few die rolls tipping it to the Marine or Genestealer side. I worry that when the Genestealers wins the players think there is no way for the Marines to win and when the Marines win the Genestealer players think there is no way to stop them. Historically it been about 50/50 over all the times we've run the scenario. Over the Adepticon weekend the Marines won 2 of the 3 times, but they were both very close with only 1 or 2 turns remaining.
I'll also be running this Space Hulk event at GenCon this year and hope to be back at Adepticon next year.

I think the tiles are only available from Spaceship-X, and they're currently mired trying to fulfill Kickstarter orders for them (not much news on that front lately, from what I saw at last check...).

Thanks for posting here and running the event, TWA- it was an absolute blast!

Yes, I've only got them direct from the company, Creative Gamescapes. I did talk to one of the guys from DSG games at Adepticon who knows the guys from Creative Gamescapes, and it sounds like they are really busy with the kickstarter.

BTW, I posted the rules and map for the Space Hulk event over on basementofdeath.com
