Man it's mighty tempting to make a sylvaneth/wanderer army after seeing that image. I have to finish my death first. >_<

Will the stag beetle have a model? Like a Magmadroth base size model? If yes, I'm in. I don't know what it is, but I am in it.

The artist removed the image from his portfolio. I'm guessing he saw the other stuff posted, didn't check with the AD and just let rip before the NDA was up.

That seems to be the case but considering all the artwork I think it's pretty clear people know that they are getting update. Even on facebook GW acknowledge the leaks intentional or not. Still NDA's are law binding. Still I want the artist to do more artwork for AOS I really like their style.

Seems someone captured it - I posted it in the OP. Definitely looks more "professional" (or at least more finished).

Thank you!

That art is very nice, not great, but the "models" shown could very much be the best AoS ones (outside of the Slaughterpriest wit axe). Bowtrees are cool. The dryad-mandrake-things have been amazing in all the art, so they hopefully turn out nicely. I love Alarielle, but I'm cooling on the beetle.

Looking for a Skaven Doomwheel banner to repair my Nurgle knights.

I'd like to think GW wouldn't have a worldwide campaign and then bring out the General's Handbook immediately afterwards. Hey guys! Thanks for playing in our big campaign! As a reward, here's a new way to play the game that you could have used in the campaign had we released it first!

True.

So it's pretty obvious its going to be at the same time. I recall that at warhammer fest these campaigns are going to be done yearly. Perhaps one year 40k then one year it's AOS again, if this turns out well I think we can all agree with the people who are calling kevin the messiah of GW and putting it on the right track again.

That's some nice Stormcast art, the font gives it a 300 vibe.
The big beetle looks like its got some plant growths on its carapace. What are the chances its a bug shaped Treekin instead of an actual giant insect?

Oh and an alternate build for the kit would be nice. Maybe an alternate rider, or a option to have the beetle and Allerial separate.

Anyone ever read Hothouse by Brian Aldiss. It's basically this, but the world. Pretty much everything is vegetation, some of it happens to be an imitation of what were once creatures. There's also a sort of mind controlling fungus. Seems like either could apply here.

Redshirts don't have the most reliable record when it comes to future releases and release dates...

In GW's defense, they could use feedback (!) from the global.campaign to refine the general's handbook.

Not if they plan on actually releasing it this summer they can't. Lead time on book printing is at LEAST 3-4 months, usually longer.

All aboard the AoS hype train! Woo woo!

Really excited about the campaign, even if I won't be joining in due to work overload.

To all glorious defenders of Azyrheim, Free Guild commanders and holy priests that lead the devoted flocks-

Win this one for Sigmar!

Edit: (special thanks to Shinros for linking that artwork and for being a sane mind amidst the hordes of ragers in the chaos realms of Reddit and the TW forum. Keep being awesome! )

Yeah, the Handbook is already back from the printers and in the warehouses.

I'd be very surprised if the global campaign didn't actually have an effect on the storyline for future Realmgate wars publications though.

If the beetle kit is anything like every other big new kit it will definitely have alt modes. Different heads for the rider, different gross bug mouthparts, probably a less nasty version with a different rider or riderless.

Also I'm gonna need an intervention to stop from making an Eldar Wraithhost army with this assortment of deadly trees. I guess the beetle could be a superheavy grav tank.
