Its Alarielle, I imagine she'll be like Nagash and Archaon, just her in the kit.

Not if they plan on actually releasing it this summer they can't. Lead time on book printing is at LEAST 3-4 months, usually longer.

I kind of hope that if it's Alarielle on her giant beetle, we get her lieutenants mounted on something flying.

It has been pointed out elsewhere that June 11th will just bring info about the upcoming campaign, probably including how to register. The actual campaign proper will start sometime later, maybe alongside the generals handbook, or the Slyvaneth release.

HA HA! Have an Exalt, good sir!

Personally, I'm expecting some heavy Tzeentch for the campaign to follow on the release of Silver Tower. Time to break out my Staff of Change... After all, are not ALL followers of the Changer of Ways?

Well this time there's no reason to retcon though. With infinite universum and infinite armies there's no danger of too radical change to story line regardless of whatever happens. Defeated party will simply retreat to next area and war continues as usual.

Yes because, unlike magical storm-based teleportation, armour and human anatomy are real things we're all pretty familiar with. "LULZ, it's fantasy brah!" isn't a catch all excuse for laziness and bad design.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

"Your society's broken, so who should we blame? Should we blame the rich, powerful people who caused it? No, lets blame the people with no power and no money and those immigrants who don't even have the vote. Yea, it must be their fething fault." - Iain M Banks

"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal

He has a point. Inconsistencies with known factors tend to stand out more than fully fantastical elements.

That, and the image takes some liberties not just with general human anatomy, but the models themselves as well. Stormcasts, despite the size of their shoulder armour, can in fact see to the sides.

Thing is, in that pic, he is looking past the pauldron. You can see his nose and mouth are in front of the pauldron, so he's looking past it because it is to the left of his head.

Whether he can see past the shield, well, that's a different story.

Have an exalt.

No, he can't see past his shield, because he's just brought it up to protect himself from an enemy's attack. There is part of a weapon showing on the edge of that pic.

Of course, his nose and mouth are only in front of the pauldron because the drawing is 2D and the artist made the head both behind and in front of the pauldron at the same time, M.C. Escher style.

Fantasy does not break suspension of disbelief at all provided it's internally logical.

But there needs to be logic behind it. Otherwise it breaks.

Has there been mention of sigmarines having x-ray vision? That would explain that pose. At which point there's at least some logic behind it.
