Let's start a list of general models that need to be re-sculpted, badly.

Here's a start:

- Dark Eldar -

The entire line. (Just... Gross.)

- Eldar -

Wraithguard. (We understand you're an undead wall of love, but please have some form of motion.)
Guardians. (Let's make our base model a million pieces! KK, thanks.)
Warp Spiders. (Can I get another pose please?)

- Imperial Guard -

Any and all Catachan models. (We understand you're tough, but you have Space Marine muscles for Christ's sake.)
The Imperial Guard tanks. (They look "old" and remind me of the old Rhino too much.)

- Tau -

Crisis Suits. (Release them Forgeworld style... In plastic.)

- Chaos -

Defiler. (I'm a spider washing machine w/ a head. Ohh... Scary.)

- Orks -

Lootas. (Just... Look... Strange.)
Killa Kans (Plastics please.)
Deff Dreads (Same as above.)

- Sisters of Battle -

Almost everything. Can I get some plastics please?!?

- Necrons -

It's my thoughts that putting colored plastics on a well painted model looks... Stupid. I'm sure I'm not the only one. Maybe some textured rods would suffice?

That's all I got for now; back to work for me.

Lootas? They've "just" been released so to say.

I'd much rather like to see redone Imperial Guard priests, the old models they have up now are really showing their age.

How dare you say the Ork Lootas, but yeah i agree on the count of wraithguard, but only on the poses, the actual shapes are brilliant, would like to add fire prism to the list, as well as the 'older' ork vehicles such as the wartrakk, or at least just change the gunners

I love the Wraithguard. I imagine them emerging from smoke and mist and terrifying the bejeuzus out of me with their implacable march.

Though guards may sleep and ships may lay at anchor, our foes know full well that big guns never tire.

The new blood letters were a downgrade in quality, they need to be redone.

They also need to redo the tyranid biovore. (It smiles you know)

Though I guess a new DP plastic model was in the works according to scuttlebutt.

The Ork Lootas are fine, even if the models aren't necessarily consistent with the fluff.

Can we get some FLASH GITZ?
The Ork buggies/trakks need new models.

Totally agree on Plastic Kans and Dreads. The dread is too expensive.

Also agree with the Defiler. I think it looks fine, except for the head which looks completely tacked on. I wish it had some more organic components ala the Soul grinder.

I think the Crisis suits are fine.

MY question is why did they jack with Catachans in the first place?!? The originals, although metal, are pretty cool looking. Those abaritions they brought out in plastic are HORRIBLE!!!!! Side by side with the older ones only makes them look worse....

I agree with the wraithguard , the design , concept are all nice everyone likes it , now plastic please for different poses.

Warpspider needs plastic and more armor plates.

Banshee is currently falling into the fat design on the leap years ( yes if you look carefully their models alternate between been thin and FAT everytime they resculpt )

basically for eldar, more head variations with top part of helmet off ( like that autoxarch character prince something )

all IG tank need redone.

too much to list, im so picky :"o

Kroxigor need plastics ( everyone love them, but 1 blister price = 1 regiment cost? no!!!! )

ALL undead skeleton steed need new sculpts , its the only thing stopping me from getting completely into Tomb kings.
undead giant looks stupid too , tomb scorpion need better design on legs, bending them back to fit the base always seem to snap the legs

clan rats ( proably getting resculp this time )
rat ogre , i know they are new but my god new plastic ones look so stupid
poison globes.... warpfire thrower , too old !

I like the Catachans. They're amusing.

The Emperor doesn't seem to do much for you but you sure are expected to be mutilated, suffer, and die to make him happy. And is he dead or what? If he's entombed that would mean he's dead as a doornail, right? So, how can he be happy about anything you do, or even give orders to anyone? Are you worshipping the dead now? Is that something you'd really want to do? Because it sounds freaking creepy to me.

London.

Cadians & Catachans, all awful. Horrible, inhuman shapes. Bring back lead ratios.

Dark Eldar are ten years old, and are definitely showing their age (excluding perhaps Dhrazar).

Plastic Wraithguard make me salivate. Cocking up a £10 model is not fun.

If I had it my way I'd make everything plastic. I don't understand lead-hugging people who claim that metal makes for more detail. It's all in the paintjob....

I really should be spending my time more constructively.

You just reminded me... The Keeper of Secrets... Horrible, horrible model. I know Slaanessh is all about pleasure, but a Daemon w/ a penis-shaped head...? C'mon.

Just be thankful they didn't decide to release whatever the counterpart for that head would be...

That being said, I'd like to see the forthcoming Storm Troopers retain the 3rd-edition look, but this time maybe they'll be to scale with the rest of the IG. Too bad I'll still never take them.

Today I didn't even have to use my hot-shot las; I gotta say it was a good day.

For the most part 40k looks fine, especially the newer plastics, however, there are a few weak spots:

Eldar
1. Jetbike - use the Jes Goodwin crotch rocket design
2. Vyper - restyle to match the Falcon

Imperial Guard
1. Leman Russ tank - should be Land Raider-size, with Baneblade styling
2. Greatcoat & Cameoline infantry

Marines
1. Land Raider - add ground clearance so it doesn't high center.
2. Venerable Dread - should be a plastic upgrade sprue with more grimdark and less bling-bling.
3. Rhino - restyle as "high prow" with climbing tracks

Chaos
1. Daemonettes - go back to the 4E "sexy" designs, but in plastic
2. See above re LR & Rhino

Gathering the Informations.

I disagree on the Wraithguard for one reason.
They're constructs made of pure Wraithbone. They're not meant to be 100% agile like a Guardian or a Dire Avenger would be.

And, personally, I think they look far far better as implacable shock troops/defenders with the more limited range of motion.

I disagree with your disagreement for one reason: a troop unit of wraithguard is a $150 metal unit with only 3 poses. They are essentially terminators (by scale) they are troop choices in the game, they need to be plastic. (They could look nearly the same.)

Wraithguard should be plastic... In a box of 3 so they can still get a decent profit from it. But honestly I like the simple poses. It gives them that, oh how do I put it, 'dead' look.

I put in my vote for redoing eldar guardians too... Too small, too many pieces, etc.

And sisters NEED to be in plastic already!

I'd also put in a vote for a space wolf terminator upgrade pack... Like the dark angels one. Put little wolf tails in there, insignia, etc.

Plastic gargoyles? I think if they were worth the points it would be worth considering, but not in their current state... Does anyone still use more than 8 of these little guys? I used to love them.
