Lovely work, Jan. Everyone else has said it already, but both Celestine and The Thief look wonderful. I like the watercolour look to The Thief's umbrella very much.

New month, new year, new things!! Creature Caster recently came onboard as another sponsor for my Twitch channel which is awesome!!. They very kindly gave me two of their new models - The Lady of Arcana and the Lord of Metamorphosis. I'm painting hte lady this month on stream and wil be giving the lord away at the end of the month. They are seriously big models and the detail....... stunning. Very early WiP below

That's awesome to see you'll be doing some Creature Caster stuff Jan! I backed them on kickstarter a while back and got my hands on their beautiful spider demon model that I have yet to start on. The guy who started the company lives not too far away from me either, he's in British Columbia, just one province over from me here in Canada.

Oh man the way you're painting this head up so far is a lot how I envisioned I'd paint mine, the models take so well to this faded style. I'm totally pumped to see this come together.

Updates, stuff getting done! News!!!

Making (slow) progress on the Lady Of Arcana but happy with the way shes going. Doing her all with the Scale75 paints I got for my birthday. Loving those paints. and will then go back in with inks to deepen tthe tones and stuff! She's getting there!
Will be continuing with her on stream later today. The armour will eventually be hit up with some inktensity inks to darken then adn give more of an insectile bio armour sheen......thingy!! Been looking at a LOT of HR Giger's work for inspiration.

NEWS!! Recently my Twitch stream ht 2000 followers which is insane!!! So chuffed! This coming Sunday gonna do a celebration stream - painting, chatting, tunes and as its a celebration stream will have some giveaways like the Lord Of Metamorphosis (the brother piece to the Lady of Arcana above that I'm painting) and other bits n bobs. Should be a lotta fun. It'll be on Sunday morning for me but thats Saturday for folk back in the west due to the timezone magics!!

Wee update on The Mountian Man. Got a few hours in today to start work on his leather bindings, bit more on his stone armour plates and made a rough start on his flayed skin ‘clothing’. Still so much to do and need to start thinking about sculpting his base BUT.... he’s getting there and am having a blast on this great sculpt. Loving him!!!

Couple of quick snaps of what I’ve been working on. Necromunda terrain. Been streaming these bits as workups for weathered wrecked metals on stream and made a couple of tutorial videos up on YouTube for folk too. Getting there but lots still to do

My WiPping shelf has been getting a bit out of control so have shut it to any new minis until I finish what’s currently on it!! Actually getting stuff finished!! 4 down, 9 to go! Here’s the latest! Just got her finished on stream this evening. The Morrigan of The Sullen Banshees from House Escher. Never tried SENMM before so thought I’d give it a bash on her bustier. Came out better than I thought it would

Wonderfully gritty and Blanchian. Top stuff! Is she for a full gang, or just a one-off?

She looks wonderful. The SENMM came out great, and I really like all the various tones in the metallics.

When I was much younger, this image was the most amazing thing I had ever seen. And to this day, it's still just about the coolest painting I have seen.

It's a painting by Boris Vallejo.

This figure just joined it , in my top ten minis of all time. Can't stop looking at it. So I guess that makes it, not bad for a first go.

Thank you so much everyone. Thought I'd give the SENMM a go to see if I could. Am really happy how it came out. I rarely do any NMM as I muhc prefer TMM but its always good to push yourself and grow. Just found out she got a wee mention on the BoW weekender and community button thingy. Yay!!

Cheers guys. The weathering on the chainsword was wicked easy. I did it as a wee mini tutorial on stream. Just sponge, tamiya masking tape and paint.

Finally getting stuff finished up and actualy getting photos done. I hate the photo'ing part. lol. Got this little lovlie finally taken care of. 'The Puppeteer' from Kimera Models - such a treat to work on. Lotta fun and now he's done. hope you like

Much love n thx everyone. Been getting a fair bit of stuff tidied up, finished, photo'd and so on recently. My WiPping shelf was jsut getting ridiculous so a line had to be drawn of no more new starts (barring commission work) until the shelf was cleared of current stuff. Only got about another 5 to go I think.
I've a few Necro gangers finihsde as well I'll put some snaps up at some point. Finally got around to finishing Lil Arty (28mm Artemis) who had been lingering for ages at the back of the shelf. He's a nice enough mini but after painting the 54mm version, the 28mm seemed a bit ..... lacklustre. Still - he's nearly done I need to go and add some finsihing touches to the KD:M Mountain Man and then he'll be ready for photos too. Next up on the get it done list will be Zayna - a bust from Iter Miniatures. hopefully working on her on stream over the weekend.

Finally getting some stuff up again. Been working on Necromunda & KD:M a lot these days. So today will pop a few Necromunda thingys up!
Finished Mad-Dog Mono the hired gun from FW and did a little 'finihsing' on Ajax712 to have him as a hired brute in the Sump. Working on trying to batch paint 4 more Escher. I hate batch painting! super early WiP.

The Eschers are terrific- and such a departure from the norms for painting them (all flamboyant and purple/pink)! The dull greys and blues, and the skin tone washes like unwashed skin, highly suggestive of the Underhive! Great job!
