I cast inquisition on the general...while still fighting to get closer to him.

(Indeed they are Ranun) (the group) As Ranun fights his way through the horde and the party aids him Ranun strikes out against the genereal. The statue grimaces slightly, its faicial features contorting in pain and rage, Edon trys to aid hi but even with the power of the armour it seems that his magic is inneffective against the General. Instead he vents his anger on the hordes of lesser statues wiping them out.

i put her head on my lap so she lays down a little more comfortable. "you can sleep now i will keep you safe."i brush er hair with my fingers.

soon sleep also claims you despite your need to stay awake, in the morning however you find yourself quite alright with everything as it was, apart from the fact that the hound is now awake and is whimpering in a corner, unable to die and unable to flee

We set out on the road, the villager has piled his family and the few remaining unburned articles of their home into a very ragged cart drawn by a mule that looks like it should've been put to pasture years ago. This will make for slow goin but were on the move.

The Golden Army swept over the survivors in a great glittering tide, stabbing and cutting apart any that remained alive, their screams fading as they died. Ordering the Liche Priests to cast preservative charms upon the corpses of the foe, ensuring that their flesh would not rot in the long years to come, the King of Dust jammed each of their lances into the dying earth, planting a forest of blades as he did so. The sorcerers worked as one, raising the Knights of Phobos high into the air, then dropping them like rag dolls upon their own holy weapons creating a monument to Iliad's victory. More magic hummed in the air as powerful bands and seals were placed upon the lances, forcing them to remain upright and rigid for eternity. When the grisly task was at it's end, over two-thousand bodies lay impaled upon their own weapons, a testament to the wrath of the King of Dust. Mustering off, the Golden Army turned ever eastward, seeking out new 'recruits' for the deathless host.

OOC: This is rather egotistical, but what's the world's general reaction to the advance of the Golden Army? Also, whatever happened to the Great Necromancer?

As the army heads east again you find your warriors becoming weaker the closer you get to Talchondras, the City of Suffering, the deamonic city is hidden to most of the holy orders but you know where it is, having known that the great necromancer wanted it as a prize, If you could take the city then it would give you a strong bastion from which to assault from.

But the issue with your weakening forces is something you are worried about. You bring it up with your priests and they theorise that there is some kind of Daemonic magic sapping your power, this means that the Daemonic armies fear your force, and wish to destroy it before it gets to close to them, as comforting as this notion is you need to strike back, and fast before your army withers to nothingness.

(Eckeon) As you travel along the road you see the shapes of more villagers following the front group, the train streatches back for nearly a mile of weary homeless, clearly the warlock had been busy elsewhere. there is no knowing how much damage he wrought upon the north coast

(Noccy) slowly the goup comes to, and you hear the sounds of battle in the distance, clearly the fight rages on.

Lunier moves over to you, "Looks like were going to be here for a while."

i mind talk to lunier. Yes it is. But we have something more important to do. I nod to the demon. You may begin with the interrogation. Make sure it is away from here. Aurella has enough to deal with now and torture witness is not one of these things. I keep brushing her hair gently.

He looks faintly amused at your antics but drags the Daemon off into the forest anyway

Seeing that only the general remained, Edon channles his power into the mace of his satar freind, lending him strength and power on unimaginable scale.

(Eckeon) The militai of the towns appear to have been wiped out however you notice that many of the Villagers have weapons of thier own and you begin teaching them how to use them, after a few nights you have a group of fairly capable warriors about 80 strong.

with the Ataani and yourself this is a sizable defensive force and one that makes you proud.

Soon however you come to the edge of the Old Kingdom. A clearly defined border of trees separates the Plains of the federation from the forests and desets of the Old Kingdom. You know from what others have told you that distance is warped in here and what on a map looks like a months journey could take nearly 3.

(The Group) Ranun feels more and more powerful with every passing second, but he also feels like hell need it.

He and the General face of from each other waiting for one or the other to make the first move.

+The interrogation will be slow, it can only communicate with rudimentary forms of comprehensive language, usually Daemons communicate with a far more esoteric form which i have not yet identified. I will keep you posted.+

Slowly Aurella wakes up, at about the time that assassins usually do. You realise that for some absurd reason you woke up early, maybe it had something to do with your arm. You shrug to yourself, then grimace, not sucha good idea.

I am sorry but if it was soft i coldnt possibly be an assasin he smiles. As that is what i still am. An assasin which is blood bonded and in love. How ironic i laugh.

I will make a new fire. If you wish. Then we can eat something and we can just relax a little. But i think its not a bad idea to have our weapons ready as demons can appear anytime.

She nods, and helps you make breakfast. Soon the two of you are enjoying a haunch of meat that Lunier appears to have left for breakfast from an animal he hunted down in the night.

I also make some for lunier but i make it so that its still tastes good if its cold. I put my arm over aurellas hip and pull her a little closer. "What is it? Because i feel something is bothering you."

"I dont know, something just doesnt feel right, I guess its just the proximity of those Daemons."

Ok then just relax i am with you and i will make sure nothing happens to you. i look at my white hair still amazed about it.

Your whole body looks alien to you know, it will clearly take along time to get used to the changes wrought on your body....

Act two: The Dawn of Darkness

Tyranic felt the pain rippling down his spine. That undead knight had just ripped through them. It wasnt so much a warrior as a force of darkness.

He slowly pulled himself down the stake, groaning at the pain, but the lady Phobos wouldnt let him die this easily. all around him dead knights were rising again. Wounds were healing and thier bodies reknitting and growing strong again.

They picked up thier weapons and remounted their horses, also rerjuvinated. The Golden warrior would pay for this, his army was wrecked. Tyranic moves through the ranks of dead paladins and as he does so they rise to their feet again, clutching weapons holier than thier souls.

This would not end yet.

Deckkanso slowly drew his weapon, surveying the ground before him. The old Dragoran knew that the undead wouldnt be able to hold against the power of his warriors.

His sword flicks up and then down and all around him he hears the snapping of bone helms locking shut.

This was the begginning

I feel aurella become more tense of her mind keep on thinking about the demons. And i begin massaging her (gently and not on a sick way XD). Still amazed about my change in appearance.

She leans into you and closes her eyes enjoying the massage, but you hear a sickening scream come from deep in the forest and you know that the Daemon Lunier has been interrogating just died. +The damn thing just alerted its mates to our position, time to go love birds, ill fill you in once were clear."

I stand up. " dont think about it to much." I say to aurella while i stand up. " and i will finish that massage another time and no lunier you ma not have one" i smile a little nodding to aurella who looks a little frightened by the scream.

She looks worried but follows you without word but only with a nod as you get moving.

I walk next to her. And take her hand. "Everything will be okay. Just see this as a ............ a picknick and we need to move because of the bees. I say this because i dont want you to feel the same as i have felt constant fear. So let me worry about that part and you can just think about other things. I.......i....... i dont want to see you suffer.

Ranun stared into the cold, blank eyes of the general, and then initiated the fight with a flurry of blows from his mace.

(I'll be using flames of purgation and inquisition)

(Ok) The General draws a pair of long curved swords and begins to parry your strikes, Even the mace cannot break these preternaturally hard weapons and he seems to be able to predict your every move. He is however in great pain, and you can see his body steaming as he blocks your strikes

(noccy) She hugs you, "Well we had better go then"

After some time of consideration and debate, the King and his advisors come across a plan; they would send a living dupe to inform one of the holy orders near the citadel, leading them to initiate a siege of the damned city. When the demon's magic was no longer focused on the Golden Army, they would rise from the ashen plain to sweep both attackers and defenders from the face of the earth. For several hours, the Liche Priests labored to sink the Golden Army beneath the earth, and beneath the notice of the demonic wizards. There, they waited.

The figure moved along the lords walls. He pulled out an Ataani head hunter arrow and drew it back. The patrolling gaurd felt a sharp pain in his throat, wanting to scream, but due to blood filling his throat he couldn't. The Ataani pulled out two daggers and used them to scale the 15 foot wall. he dragged the guard into the cover of darkness and walked to the next guard, slitting his throat with one dagger, ripping the artiry in his theigh with the other, leaving this on in plain sight, near the torch light door. This Guards eyes were plucked, with fur filling his eye sockets. The Ataani assasin sped through the estate killing all in his path, covering the mansion in entrails and blood. The lord was an oversized man, his racism surpassing his wieght. He walked into the lords bedroom "Opppen the safe" The figure hissed. The fat man nodded and opened the safe revealing coins and gold bars. The Ataani took it all. He walked to the doorway, the lord sighing in releif. The Ataani split out a throwing knife and threw it in a swift motion, hitting the lord in his chest cavity. The Ataani walked over and ripped his knife out. "These are expensive, you know." He said cleaning the knife on the dieing lords robe. "Wh-why"the lord muttered out. "Because I need cash, and you are a bigot. Have fun bleeding out" The Ataani left, fleeing into the forest cackling. The real reason? He was hired to do so, the employer paying him big, AND the cat got to rob the man, without the employer knowing.

I signal to the rest of the party, while continuing my power feed to rarun, to attack the general as well.
My aim is to distract him so that rarun can land a killing blow.

As much as this plan should have worked logically you soon realise that the Generals magical shileding is designed purposefully to prevent this kind of interference

Darath also channles his power into rarun, hoping this will help him defeat the general.

I look at Orac and Raora, and ask them to begin searching for the final artifact in this temple, prehaps that will give me the boost I need to let rarun kill the general...

Ranun focuses his blows now at the head of the general, forcing him to keep his block up. Just as the general is expecting another blow to the head, Ranun swings his flaming mace at the legs of the general.

Alright everyone, listen close! These Old Kingdom plains are more desert than anything else. So find some springs and fill everything that will hold water. This trek ahead of us can take a long time, and we must have water to survive. We will move slow resting in the heat of the day and making camp only after the sun sets to make the most of the coolness of night.

Stay close and be judicous with your water.

Ranuns mace smashes straight through the knees of the General and the statue crumples to the ground. Clearly in pain.... in pain? It was a statue, regardless Ranun smashes his weapon down on the crossed swords of the General and something breaks. And it wasnt a weapon. ranuns power is such that the generals wrists snap of, the hands still clutching the swords as his weapon barrels down and itno the head of the Statue.

As soon as the weapon connects the statue falls to dust and the swords clatter to the floor, as do the black pauldrons.

The column of villagers looks worried but follows your commands.

Markith drew his daggers and tightened the sack of gold to his back, turning around to see the maker of the noise.

Its yelps and shambles backwards, not what your used to from the usually graceful wolves, and then it hits you, some of them are actually Daemons wearing the pelts of daemonic wolves moving on all fours

Ranun kneels and picks up the pauldrons and the two swords.

"It is finished my friends..." Ranun said, "And it was an honor fighting by your side, all of you being great warriors..."

He then stood and continued "But as we speak, the Golden Army and the one who leads them is regaining strength - for he was never entirely defeated. We now have the tools to crush him... he who wishes to aid me to bring down this great evil stand beside me - I will not hold it against you if you decide to part ways here."

Don't be afraid it may sound terrible but I'm being extra cautious. I dont know this area coming up, and the other option is going around the Old Kingdom. Which will likely put us in contact with more deamons if that warlock acttacked any other towns before yours. Everyone prepare yourselves and your families we start moving at sunset.

I will join you my freind, Edon says to Rarun, my quest for a Dragon can wait a while longer, as it has done for all the centuries of my life so far. I will acompany you, and my magic and your mace will work as one to defeat the forces of evil spreading across this land.

Appearance/Bio: In a northern province where Nordic culture prosper a war waged throughout the seasons between the barbaric humans against the small tribe of satrys. What once was a dispute over trading of supplies over winter soon became a campaign over the dominance of the food stores. Years have passed and population on both sides shrink continually. Shrad was one of the tribe’s newest warriors suffering a genetic defect known as the blood rage, similar to sharks the blood rage makes its victims become furious hunters killing anything in its path till the urge dies down the victim has only one intent and that is killing and destroying this does not mean they lose their problem solving skills but can’t distinguish between friends and enemies. Shard entered a battle for the control of the human’s stores which brought him into a complete frenzy killing every single man, woman, and child with in both the human village and his own tribe. He migrated south to a forest that held wood elves that also suffered the same fate as his tribe. He hides in the forest killing any traveler who dares to go deep within it. The village outside of the forest dubbed him the skull stalker for his unique habit of decapitating his victims before using their bones for tools.

And i think its hard to survive when you play an nonstop killing machine who cannot make friends. So maybe you can make it something like an hot tempered satyr who IS reasonable.

The group all seems fairly eager to follow the powerful Satyr, although Ranun is sure they have no idea what they are getting into.

Edon, when yo pu tthe final piece of armour on they all seem to fuse together, a suit of black metal forms around you and then morphs into a robe, flowing and black. It sits comfortably on your shoulders and its feels powerful

The party, (at this point in time, Edon specifically) Has the Mantle of Orpheus. It has the stats described before and additionally it has a class specific bonus given when all pieces are worn by the same person. The Shoulder pads on their own give a 100% damage boost to the characters primary method of damage dealing, ie Ranuns mace or Edons magic. It is only a 75% boost on magic however as magic is already pretty OP to start with

(Wild) The zombie moves with stqartling lucidity towards the tree and begins scaling it

(Eckeon) the families do as you ask and soon they are ready for travel

Markith slams arrow after arrow into the creatures neck( where it's head should be) before the thought occurs to him to shoot it's hand, therfore stopping it from climbing.

I fall to the ground by the hit. When i am lying i see he is about to hit me and kill me. But then aurella kicks in and slices him in half. "Thank you." I jump back up. And shoot right past aurella into the eye of an demon. "And now we are even." I take a knife and jump past one and slice him in his kneecap. Before he hits the ground aurella jumped (litterly) on him and beheaded him.

Tyranic, I would like to leave it to you to say whether the NPC's from my party come with us or not.

The skullstalker has been known to hunt the inhabitants of the forest if they dare to step foot in his domain. some warriors have come back alive from the beast's den as they have fought beast and won its respect, now winning the battle was an entirely different aspect. Shard's blood rage has been slowly dieing off in recent years but any form of necromancy rather it being idols or actual necromancers sets him in blind rage.

No, you can't, It was my quest anyway.

While we ride away from the temples, I think about my powers, and what sort of thing I would like to work on learning next.
Finaly, after thinking for a while I settle on either Duplication or Transportation. I look in my map book, which I had kept in my bag up to now, and see something marked on it, near to our current location. It seems to be marked as either a magical tower, or a magical libary, unfortunatly, the symbol isn't clear and the name is smudged.
I show it to the rest of my party, and see if they think we should investigate...

I think its better for marta to describe this so it will become just an point of interest and not known what kind of thing. Cause if marta had an awsome plan you actually force him to follow your plan. So now he can do his awsome plan (if he had any XD but its marta so he defenetly has one XD) and still know you want a new spell XD

Alright melodrama over now lets get to some rping *cracks knuckles then winces* "Ouch that hurt"

The Army of the Federation takes time to reach the unholy bastion, but when it does, the sky itself begins to weep blood as humans and elves throw themselves against the fortress.

Massive siege weapons created by the dwarves send echoing booms across the country side that make the very ground tremble. the siege has begun

(Noccy) You soon realise that the situation is hopless unless Lunier gets there soon there are just to many.

But of course assassins being assassins Lunier was just setting up his own little trap for the Wolves. You and Aurella are forced back to back in the middle of a clearing and then all of a sudden a net comes up around you and yanks you up into the trees as streams of autofiring crossbow bolts steam through the clearing, butchering the wolves. The net sinks back to the ground after the bolts stop firing and the pair of you look up to see Lunier grinning from a tree with a rope in his hand attatched to a pair of pulleys. One of the pulleys has a second rope which trails out of sight. to his crossbow you assume.

"That was my last clip we need to get back"

(Eckeon) The villagers are stoic and hardy and go the two days of the first stretch without complaint. However you notice that some of them are dissapearing at night and not coming back. Noone form the village you came from but certainly people are getting worried and the screams from the forest belt behind you attest to some greater horror lurking in the woods. The villagers mourn for the lost and you do as well, having led a scouting party in to look for the cuprit but only finding splintered bones and scraps of hair.

The desert before you is vast and you can see the sihuoettes of massive edifices in the distance. Your sense of space is warped however as you notice a cloud lasily drifting around one of them, these obelisks were Massive

(The group) (Dont worry about it the last part of this quest can be done before you guys have to head to the tower thingie of which there is one nearby, (there are actually a good number of them throughout the federation... it just so happens that the one closest to you is abandoned but your characters dont know that......)

All of the group seem to want to follow Ranun and help him defeat the golden army alongside the Knights of Phobos.

Whats more on the first night outside of the last temple you are once again surrounded by the ghosts this time however they are well and truly solid. The Daemons are playing tricks with your mind, making you think theyre close, you can see them running towards you only to dissapear at the last second. They arnt really there, or are they and this is some kind of malicious scheme?

Kozac uses the flaming orb spell learned in the guild keep to know how many deamons there are.

(It just didn't seem like it worked cause inquisition immobilizes them - but he still moved his saber to block XP)

Ranun pulls out his knife and holds it in his right hand. He holds his mace to the left of his body to block any blows that may come, and then he lunges in with the knife to stab the throat of the ghostly creature.

The federation is staying out of range of the fortress's walls and slowly demolishing them with long range artillery, soon there wont be much of a bastion left.

Ranun redirects his attention to disarming the ghost. He drops his knife and attemps to rip the saber out of the ghost's hand while bashing its arm with the mace.

Ok so still moving through the routine of the desert trek, though the monuments/ruins/buildings in the distance do appear to be getting a little closer.

(Mordo) The Golden army smashes into the side of the Federation and soon the Daemons come out of thier fortress to crush both armies, but you can see that there is something terribly wrong, the daemons are only thier second best, the ones you would leave behind if you were attacking somewhere else, you look upon the warriors of the Federation and they are pristine warriors hacking through the Daemons, and your undead, although with more casualties against the latter.

(Eckeon) Soon the Temples come into view, massive sandstone structures with glints of blue gemstones along thier doorways.. your head drifts to the kinds of riches that may be found in the ruins of this desolate city.

(Rarora) The party is currently watching Ranun deul with one of the ghosts that has been following you

(Noccy) He nods and begins firing tight bursts into the half visible Daemons and you and Aurella begin flowing through the forms of your "Dance"

The Sabre twists out of the Ghosts grip but he seems to drop it, pivot in place and then you feel a massive impact in your gut that throws you backwards, The ghosts foot and leg, still poised from the spinning kick that he performed, slowly twist back to his side in a controlled motion. He bends down and picks up the weapon at his feet. Somehowyou managed to hang on to yours as you were forced backwards. He doesnt press his advantage, but meerly waits.

(shroud) (are you the new Satyr? sorry Ranun seems to have taken it upon himself to write you in and that hasnt happned, if he still hasnt in the next couple of pages then i definitly will, or you can, up to you.)

The dead dive beneath the soil, aided by the magic of the Liche Priests and the Necrolytes. Burrowing behind the demonic ranks, the dead resurface, slashing at the flanked living.

The flanked Daemons have difficulty responding to the ranks of undead and are crushed between two fronts.

Moving to engage the Federation forces, the Golden Army encircles their foe, jabbing at them with a deadly wall of pikes.

The pikes are able to keep the Federation back, but niether side can gain ground whilst they are up as the arrows of the Undead are inneffective against the shield walls of the federation and the arrows of the federation are not nemerous enough to suppress the undead.

The Liche Priests pool their energies together to call forth a globe of dust that leeches the moisture from mortal flesh, leaving them withered husks.

The orb is batted aside by the Mages of the Federation who in turn fire beams of blinding light at your warriors, trying to dissemble them, but your priests block the light and change it to darkness which furthur shrouds your army.

(I can't really get him in in the middle of a duel - It threw off my plans momentarily. If you see fit, you can put him in now... I just htought it would be a bad time...)

Ranun lunges forward sreaching as far as he can while he swings his mace horizontally, and then when he completes the arc he lunges once again and brings it down, but he keeps control in case the ghost attacks with the saber while Ranun is mid-swing.

The Ghost just dodges backwards and you growl in frustration. Hes not even swinging back.

Ranun continues... and tries to back him up into a tree or anything that would throw him off.

" lets dance" kozac laughs while he spins aurella around and fires into a deamon. Then he throws his crossbows towards aurella and aurella trows her knife. On perfect timing everything gets caught and kozac hangs forover a little. Aurella runs over his back and jumps midair she fires a salvo and then takes the two blades (the magical ones). She lands on top of a demon and decapitates it. Then she jumps towards kozac while kozac makes sure he catches her.

Alright everyone! We'll make camp near the temples but no closer than a hundred yards just in case these temples have any defense mechanism.

(eckeon) (Defense mechanism? you all know me too well....)

The camp is set up swiftly and the villagers settle in,

(Noccy) The dance continues and the pair of you manage to wipe out most of the Daemons, but they have you surrounded now and more are on the way.

with the camp set, i wander about the camp seeing if some of the more capable people would care to go inspect the temples...

Ranun siezes the opportunity and as soon as he starts lands on the ground, Ranun goes jumps forward, stomps the ghosts hand carrying the sword (hopefully pinning his arm, or loosening his grip on the sword) with his hoof, and beats down on his with his mace.

Edon watches the dule intently, and sees the 'ghost' trip over. Prehaps these figures where not infact ghosts, but real creatures of magic.
Edon wills Rarun on, but still has to fight his urges to asist his freind in the dule. He manages it though, respecting the honour of the saytar. He stands ready though, just in case...

(We say ghost but hes been getting more solid as the party has collected the items)
(The group) The sword clatters out of the Ghosts hand and the mace descends again pounding the front of his peaked helmet in.

The ghost lets out a long sigh and he and his fellows drift into dust. (Armour weapons baggage carivans every thing, no looting *shakes finger* you may wonder what the point of this is but youll all see if you manage to find and collect the other sets of g.... ssssssshhh Marta, youve said enough)

(Noccy) You look over to where lunier was and you gasp, the pack of Daemon hounds is tearing him apart, one has already ripped out his throat and taken Luniers head with it

"LUNIER!" i rush to him and drive my blades into some hounds

i coat my weapons in holy water and attack

I gather up the group (# and skills unknown), even a couple ataani from yarnek's group and head towards the temples

Ranun sheds his armor and starts a fire. He grabs a slab of meat out of his supplies and puts a steak through it, and lets it bake over the fire...

...when he finishes his meal the others rest and he sits, waiting for the next shift. Hours pass, and Ranun starts to nod off, but suddenly a sharp crack of a twig meets his ears, and all drowsiness flees from his head. Now alert, his eyes pierce the darkness, then he hears another twig crack - closer this time, and he can just make out heavy breathing.

He grabs his mace quickly and shakes Edon and Rarora while whispering "There is someone here.." He then raises his voice to the unknown creature, "We know of your presence, show yourself!"

Alert though he was, Ranun was caught off guard by the beast that lunged out of the shadows at him, a fully grown satyr. His mace was knocked out of his hands by the furious charge, and Ranun fell onto his back, but he kicked the satyr off of him and quickly got back to his feet and yelled "Speak! What is your business satyr, surely you at least have respect for another of your kind?!?"

(Noccy) You manage to force the hounds of him... or whats left of him, only a few uncrushed bones remain

(Proto) Your fighting desperatley when you see Kozac Aurella and Lunier rush for the walls, but then they get surrounded by wolves and Lunier goes down

You get to the first of the temples with a large group in tow. Three ataani warriors and a couple of swordsmen, half a dozen well trained Militia with some armour shields and swords, and close to a dozen lesser trained Militia with crossbows and spears.

The temples are built like massive towering edifices with statues of massive dog headed figures on them, some of the figures are painted in gaudy blues and yellows. and then you realise that most of the Yellow is actually the lustre of gold.

i jump down and rush to their aid slashing left right and center

I slowly approach the doors watching my steps for possible pressure plates. The doors look ancient, I place my hands on the doors and give a slight shove to see if they even move given the weathering and time they've been here.

(proto) You quickly catch up with them and flick Luniers crossbow from the ground up to Kozac, "Thanks mate, good to see you again."

(Eckeon) The doors creak open smoothly but with great protest of noise. The corridor beyond is dimly lit and you cant make anything out very clearly, so far there dont appear to be any traps

I walk in my mass temporarily eating up the space in the doorway and darkening the hall, as I progress further in the light returns and my eyes adjust to see better, the hall is adored with great pillars and inbetween each is another statue matching the ones outside but not as glamourous it seems. Yet they all seem to be holding a staff of some sort much like a priest or maybe theyre spears the heads are in the shadows enough to be obscured...

Marta did you mention i was lvl 2? so should i get some more skils?

Pretty much all of them follow you, but one of the Ataani heads back to the camp to tell people whats happening.

As you move furthur into the temple you come abruptly to a T intersection. both of the tunnels, left and right are i dentical as far as you can see.. but it is dark and you cant be sure.

(Noccy) The pair of you fight your way through the press of Daemons but more and more just keep on coming. Its beginnign to feel helpless. But then from the walls come arcs of lightening and blades of ice that rip through the ranks of Daemons, soon they are all smoking or frostbitten. Assuming we brought a torch or two, we step forward a small distance in either direction to see if anything can be determined as to the better route. (if nothing can be seen split into two groups one go one way and one go the other, otherwise take the more promising route.)

THen i look at luniers bow (can i have info?) And take one bone of him. "The worst that can happen after death is to be forgotten." He takes a splinter of the bone and binds it in his hair then he passes the bone to aurella. He also takes the swords back and gifts her the blade of phobos.

She takes a little sliver f the bone and tucks it into a pouch in her clothing.

they deal abut 225% of the damage of normal shortswords (this is as a pair) and additionally deal 225% of THAT to daemons

as single weapons they deal 50% damage to normals and 100% to daemons

All of a sudden the daemons get sucked into the innocent looking ball. And then it falls back to te ground below, when it gets there it explodes

Proto looks a bit sideways at you,

"You know that teleporting business is really starting to annoy me right? cant you just walk like normal people?

Well why? But in combat it is needed and the element of surprise is always handy when retrieving your property" kozac smiles. And walks away with aurella. "We have some business to do. (Were in phobos city right?)

Proto walks along behind you

"Sure but were not in combat now so can you blimmin well walk?"

"Well i am doing so..... but if you get annoying i will teleport. He walks towards a armorer. Aurella still under one arm.

Proto shakes his head in amusement as the Armourer heralds you

"Ho there laddie, little stick like you cant be lookin for armour can 'ee?"

Ranun and his friends show no fear... for they have seen far worse than a half-mad satyr. Ranun lets the satyr circle them for some time.

"What is your name, and what is your business that you attack us in the middle of the night? Speak, or you will be killed."

Edon raised his staff, and his eyes glowed with a powerful blue light.
He was ready for anything. The mantle he wore made him a hugely powerful warror, and he felt like he could slay even the greatest of foes.

"My name been lost for years the villagers call me the Skullstalker." as I say mine i wave my arms to the surrounding forest for the party to see all the skulls hanging from trees on leather. "You have trespass on my domain, battle is necessarily for passage. And your threat of death is nothing more than what the hundred before promise." I continue circling them with my muscles tightening as the blood rage nears its peak.

Ranun smiles and drops his mace.

"Satyr, you need not waste your energy fighting me. There are far worthier patrons of your rage than those who tread on your lands."

Ranun pauses for a moment, then continues. "There is a powerful necromancer known as Iliad... not long ago his army was crushed and he was defeated, but he lives on. As we speak he is either gathering strength, or ravaging the lands of this earth... me and my companions are seeking him out to destroy him.

Join me and my party, and you will be treated as a brother and equal - and you can help set the world right."

(Edon) (XD your not THAT powerful, tbh its only a minor boost compared to what you guys are going to be able to acces at later levels)

(The group) (Still up to you guys how this one pans out but i thought id give a situational update)

The darkness in the forest is lessened by the sun shining brightly overhead, the ground is firm and hard and the party gets ready to defend themselves

(Shroud) (Dont get yourself killed mate)

(Noccy) (to me a few = 3 a dozen = 12 so a few dozen = 36)The blacksmith nods, and spreads his arms expansivly, "What does the lady want?"

"She will look for herself."
Aurella looks with a little disbelief to kozac
"Its ok take something you like." He laughs a little " some girls like diamonds as presents and some like poisened blades." He laughes and pushes aurella a little forward " lets have a look"

So it is agreed then, we move left. The passage seems to be wide enough for the group to walk 3 or so abreast comfortable, and then space out from there, though, with the risk of traps i recommend keeping several paces apart so as to not catch the whole group at once....

Sensing the danger this beast could cause i pulled a specially modified gottin bolt, one that was heavier than all my other amunition. The enchantments the bolt was is laced with means the the tip shatters inside the foe, and are magically pushed deeper. Ratcheting the string and loaded the ammo into the finley made groove, slotting into place. With no emotion hopefully showing on my face, i regarded the circling foe, nearly twice my height and raised my weapon dead square on his center. And brought the trigger up to the bite. Any more pressure and the bolt wound me loosed forwards, and unless he was exceptionally fast, pirce him, and kill him.

(The Group) (Still waiting on shroud although this is looking more promising)

(Noccy) Aurella looks through the merchants store and nods to a circlet made from folded steel. Its a simple piece but elegant for it.

I give him a little stack of gold pieces "10 is enough right?" He looks at the merchant. "If you see something else then say so." I take the circlet and put it on aurella.

"On top of the change form the last payment this is just fine Laddie"

Aurella looks great with the circlet on and she tuggs your arm gently, "c'mon Kozac"

Don't worry marta, I would kill him unless he really wanted to die... I changed my post to be nicer

i walk away following aurella. "we need only to do one more thing but that is for tonight" kozac smiles.
"proto tonight aurella and i will be unreachable ok? <speartalk: and if you dare to disturb us i will make sure you will never make such a decision again understood?>" kozac nods and walks on. then he sees a messenger boy <speartalk: boy are the nightflower fields still intact? nod if yes. if so then make sure that they are unreachable for people. you will be payed.> kozac uses shadowstep so fast aurella didnt notic that je gave the boy a goldpiece for the help.

Aurella looks askance at you as your eyes are glazed over as you converse with these people. "Whats up Kozac"

(The Group) (Looks like we got ourselves a showdowwwwn )

Ranun wipes all emotion off of his face looks to Edon and nods, a smile spreading across his face.

He then turns to the satyr, "Does this blood help?" he says as he cuts his hand slightly with his knife, dropping it when he is done and letting the crimson liquid drip.

"Your move."

"its ok aurella i was just planning something. tonight will be a special night." he smiles at aurella.
"because i promised you something and i keep my promises." he smiles and follows aurella.

"You didn't need to cut yourself for me to loose my self restraint but i take that as your answer." the moment i roll the R off my tounge i charge with stampede speed trying to collide against the intruder.

(MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA LVL 3 ASSASIN IS ABLE TO TELEPORT AWSOMENESS XD(just kidding XD marta gave me an thing to annoy you(proto) with XD)

Edon readys an Ice Flare, just in case this new Saytar should attack him...

As the beast charges my friend i slink backwards into the shadows and out of sight, if he were to best him, he woud not see the source of the shot.

(Noccy) She looks curious but resigns herself to the fact that its probably a surprise

(The Two Satyrs) As the newcomer smashes into Ranun, Ranun feels a moment of trepidation, but it is unfounded. Even without his armour Ranun literally catches the newcomer in his arms and tosses him past using the Satyrs own momentum.

Ranun laughs heartily, "You may have strength, but your rage limits your ability to fight. If fighting were solely a battle of strength, you would be doing it correctly... but it isn't. Strength is nothing without finesse to guide it."

Ranun leans down and pulls a macana out of his pack, and throws it at the satyr's feet.

"Now let us fight."

He picks up his mace and waits for the satyr once again.

I am loyal to, just intrigued....

Edon watches the Saytar fall, hiting the dirt only seconds after engadging Ranun. He could tell that his freind was by far the superior warrior, but the new comer was sure determined.
Edon began to think about their task. The destruction of the Necromancer Ilyad. By no means an easy task.
They would have to make themselves into great warriors first, before raising an army in defiance.
He and Orac could rally the elves, and Ranun could send word to the city of phobos. Raora could return to the Dwarven holds with a message.
Within weeks, they could have a huge host. As long as they could secure the troops.

And maybe, just maybe, Edon would compleate his original quest for a dragon mount...

I'm am guilty of this too, but from other RPs I have played, it seems to make for a more enjoyable game if people make longer and more detailed posts. (See Paradiso Lost/Fleet Command ect)
I am not to good at this ATM, but if everyone tries to make more than one line posts when they aren't in combat situations, or at leased some longer posts, the RP would make much better reading.

Im finding it increasingly more difficult to reply to some of your posts and im not sure why, this may be a spill off from Pall of abrantias where i have trouble posting for some of the RPers there, time will tell i think

Either way it would be good if everyone made a bit of an efort, mordo already seems to do it tho so hes all good

I have noticed that quality of posts generaly increases with the number of RPs you have played.

That is why veteran players, such as Sillyboy, Darkvoidof40K and Fitzz make such good and detailed posts.
Even I seem to have got better after playing for a while.

*Shrug* If you look at the posts i do on the likes of Blood Reapers RP's youll see me doing huge detailed posts

Within the next 5 to 6 pages of this game there is a high chance that one or more of you will die. The RP is about to get significantly harder, for all of you level 1-2 characters I will do my best to keep you safe. The best way of looking at what has happened so far as a tutorial, the fun has yet to start. If any of your characters DO happen to die, then i am prepared to allow you to make a new character with the smame levels but in a DIFFERENT race and class, or you can start a character with the same race and or class from scratch

(Ranun that would mean that if through some epically anoying happening you do manage to die you could come back with one level two class and one level three class, but you would not be able to be a paladin or a warrior or a satyr)

(Not planning XD and it will become brutal when aurella gets hurt because that reaction to the scratch was only the beggining XD when she gets hurt there will be hellsing ova style of gorefest XD)

He quickely walks outside and shadowsteps to the merchant. "Dont turn. I am just a normal man but i want it to be a surprise for my girl so i want you to bring everything to the place i described there you leave it and after that you will get your payment on this table ok? I also want to have candles. I will pay you a little now and the rest when you came." He throws a gold piece on the table. "But if you dont come i hope you have enough money for bodygaurds because you need one. My girl had a really hard time and we want to relax now. And you will help us right?" He tapps on his shoulder and shadowsteps inside the hot spring. He then takes of his clothes and slowly walks into the water. He sees the wooden wall who forms the border between male and female. "Do you like it?" He asks to aurella.

(He became a little sick when he did the shadowstep but he did it really really fast XD)

The Golden Army pushes forward with terrible force, seeking to bury the living in a tide of gilded bone. Iliad takes up a dark chant of twisted words that strengthens the power of his terrible magic.

The merchant nods to you as you step away into the darkness and reappear,

The Golden army slams into the side of the Federation, but they fight back just as hard, arcs of light fizzle out over your warriors claiming many. Most that are downed are turned to dust.

The Federations warriors are completely fearless and you feel that you are getting pushed back by the hordes of fanatical warriors

Then kozac feels the pain in his heart. "I already expected this."he whispers. He coughs ..... and coughs and coughs up some blood. "Its ok aurella dont worry." (Better make sure that he brings the stuff XD)

(Noccy) *shaking head slowly*

"What happened Kozac? are you ok?"

(Well he just really wants aurella to have a perfect night.)
"Its ok aurella i just needed to fix something. Was part of the surprise. Its not easy fixing a surprise with a limit of distance." He tries to give it a positive tone but is still a little shocked. He looks at the blood and then washes it off.

The blood washes away and you manage to relax, Aurealla still sounds worried but she manages to forget it after a while
