Aldon smith suspended Indefinately and had his locker cleaned out. Apparently headed to rehab. 49ers are in some trouble.

And the Browns got what may be their only victory of the year.

Oh yeah, and the Steelers are 0-3.

What a weird start to the season.

The teams that are currently 0-3:
Steelers
Giants
Redskins
Vikings
Buccaneers
Jaguars

And honestly, the Vikings looked the best out of those teams...

And Cincy, you're forgetting that the Browns will probably gleam 1 win from Pittsburgh, and probably get the win against Jacksonville... We're looking at 3-13.

Note: This season is a success if we can go at least 6-10

Eli Manning - 49.0
Colin Kaepernick - 49.9
Damien Fleming - 65.8 (FAMU)

Yeesh...

They play the Rams on Thursday next... as bad as things are going for 49ers... after this last game the RAMS had in Dallas... looking to be an awful game by two bad teams now. ugh.

Good call on the Browns picking up a win vs. Pittsburgh. The Steelers look just awful.

The start to the season makes that Kaepernick-Flacco "football horse" commercial look even more ridiculous than it already did. Amazing.

The past few seasons we've managed to take 1 out of 2 from the Steelers, which is surprising because I think we've gone 0-11 against the Ravens (probably soon to be 0-12), and probably closer to the Ravens record with the Bengals than vs the Steelers.

Reading a report that a brawl broke out on the Ravens party bus early this morning. At work and will post the article when I can.

The already injured Jacoby Jones was apparently struck by a bottle of champagne by a stripper named Sweet Pea.

Not sure on any fines or such, hopefully not, as it happens to the best of us.

The biggest threat from the Seahawks is having to play in Seattle due to the design of their stadium!

Would help if you put who they are playing as well...

But, without seeing any of that, My HOPE is New England goes down first....

But, reality I'd have to say, either KC, or NO.

KC is playing the Giants at Arrowhead...survey says they go 4-0

Either Miami or NO definitely will since they play each other, but it's a Monday game.

If AR dials up the same pass rush he used in Philly, Eli is in for a very bad day.
I think Miami has the advantage due to Mondays game being NO's first out of conference game this year.

and Da Bears are 3-0 with no real end in sight.

Green bay looks anemic this year, and Minnesota and Detroit do not look great either.

I'm going to go bold here: Detroit upsets Chicago first.

That depends on how well Tannehill plays.

And Chicago should sweep Detroit this year again. The Bears D has kept last years pace going and the offence has some teeth now.

Did anyone else think that fair catch kick at the end of the first half was kind of cool? It's too bad Jeff fisher didn't tell his return guy to let it go out of the end zone even though fisher knew the rule. If he had the rams would gotten the ball with 2 seconds or so left on the 39(?), spot of the kick. Which could have potentially allowed them to attempt a legitimate field goal attempt. Possibly making the game MUCH closer.

I love old antiquated rules like drop kicks, and fair catch kicks, and other such non sense.

Philly's defense has been looking like they couldn't stop a peewee team.
On the other side DRC has been getting away with pulling on Jacksons jersey, and Denver's o-line has been head bobbing all game.

Still this is all on the defense.... and a blocked punt just makes it uglier.
But hey if you picked Over they are well over the 51 that Vegas was giving.

Well Schiano is certainly burning the bridge

Spoiler:
The inevitable now is official: Josh Freeman has been released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reports the Bucs released their erstwhile starting quarterback on Thursday. According to Rapoport, the Bucs called all 31 teams in an effort to move Freeman via trade. Finding no takers, the team moved on.

The Bucs will be on the hook for the balance of Freeman's 2013 salary, approximately $6.25 million.

Why do you love football? Share your story and you could win a VIP Super Bowl XLVIII trip.
The Tampa Bay Times had the first report of Freeman's release.

Freeman's departure ends an ugly -- and embarrassing -- chapter in team history. The Bucs moved on from Freeman last week, installing third-round pick Mike Glennon as their starter. After a week of acrimony, the Bucs finally cut the cord on their former first-round pick and one-time franchise centerpiece.

Though Freeman's struggles on the field served as the catalyst for his Tampa exit, he will find work in the NFL. The question is which team will bite and how soon.

One option is the Oakland Raiders. The team is unsettled at the quarterback position, and Freeman has a direct connection to offensive coordinator Greg Olson, who was Freeman's former coordinator with the Bucs.

Freeman also has ties to Alex Van Pelt, who currently is the Packers' running backs coach and formerly Freeman's quarterbacks coach with the Bucs. Van Pelt said in 2010 there was no quarterback in football he would trade if it meant giving up Freeman.

There will be no shortage of potential suitors looking to bring in a talented quarterback who has lost his way

I wonder who would actually go for him right now? (Oakland most likely imo but I could see him going to Minnesota, Cleveland or Tennessee)

If Cleveland goes for him, I'm kicking Jimmy Haslem right in the groin... Browns should stick with Hoyer until that hot hand cools and ride out the rest of the season and spend some time scouting a real quarterback choice (assuming Hoyer doesn't prove to be a far better asset than people are giving him credit for).

Schiano was a highly overrated coach at Rutgers. His big turnaround there was a bit of a mirage helped heavily by some of the worst OOC schedules you'll ever see. It's astounding to me that he got a pro job.

And not just because of the limited resume, but because that hard-a$$, "keep choppin' wood" stuff just won't play well with grown professionals. Fine, Coughlin has obviously had success, but then he's a smart coach where Schiano is just kind of a meathead.

The ownership must be asleep at the wheel. How do you let your HC chase off your QB (receiving nothing in return), while your HC is showing signs that he's probably not the right guy for the job anyway? This is how you set your franchise back a few years.

Jaguars are a really REALLY bad team, so I'm not so sure that the Rams are out of their funk.

However, with the plays of the 49ers and Cowboys recently... I feel better.

But... just what the Feth is going on with Houston? I thought they'd be a really strong team this year.

To be fair, with the exception of one or two teams this year it seems like all of the playoff contenders last year decided to crap the beds this year.

A 140 QB rating
25-36, 506 yds, 14.1 yds per attempt, 5 TDs,
Oh... and ONE INTERCEPTION!!!!!
Bwahahahahaha..... best game of his career and that single black mark makes all the difference.

FFL: I kinda wish we didn't have the no cut list. Kaeppy is tanking. He is the lowest owned qb in our league.

I think your making a mistake dropping Brady. But what do I know ;p. he's getting Gronk back this week and hopefully Ridley as well. Add to that amendola has another week of real practice with Brady under his belt. And the rookies are getting better despite a bad outing against the bengals.

Although I guess it would depend who your starting over him?

But good luck ;p and my opinion is obviously biased as a patriot fan.

Edit:and it's my pleasure guys. If there's anything else that comes up like that let me know and I'll change/adjust it. Obviously I'm not gonna change roster size or scoring stuff. But getting rid of can't cut list for a league like this is no problem.

Its been a complete crapshoot as to the consistency of my players. Brady vs Cincy being a good example. Who 've ould have thought he would score what...6 points or something like that. And Wilson vs Indy....him running for 100+...Yeah...I just feel jinxed again this year (much like the last time I played, about 5-6 years ago.)

Sweet fantasy nightmare losing your second highest fantasy producer is not fun.

On the plus side in real football all signs are pointing toward Gronk playing this weekend against the saints. YO SOY FIESTA! Hopefully the pats can get their offense back on track. Which is the weirdest thing to say about them after the last 5 years. I am glad their defense has been so stout but we are gonna need the offense to keep gettig better and not suffer anymore defensive injuries to have a shot in the latter part of the season and playoffs.

The bears are probably fine. What team that's played on Thursday has looked good this season? Thursday games outside of thanksgiving are stupid. Ugly football because of 2 days of practice and prep. Remember Tuesdays are mandatory days off In the NFL.

While I agree about Thursday football, I'm worried about the Bears and the injuries they've taken. They're down 3 starters for the season, with another 2 out with shorter-term injuries, and two of their pro-bowlers and all their natural DTs are on that list.

Yah don't worry though the rest of the league is injured too. The patriots are down to 2 rookie DT's, lost mayo the defensive captain, and potentially our best corner. It's just as bad around the league. The patriots example just being what freshest in my head. Haven't even really taken a good look around the league yet.

I'm really starting to question the leagues effect on head/injuries through rules. And now defenders are starting to go low to avoid fines causing even more injuries. The lack of padded practices and increase in size/speed of the game seems like it's having an effect on the overall quality if the products.

I think if you look at the teams with the best records (indianapolis, Seattle, Denver, etc.) you will find that they are relatively injury free.

And I agree with you on the League's reaction to it's Concussion Problem. The personal agenda side of me hopes that this brings about the demise of Football, and the rise of Rugby Union in the US (imo, with the caliber of athlete growing up in the US, there's no reason we shouldn't be competing with NZ and SA for rugby dominance)

There are/were 3 starting offensive linemen out for Seattle. That's a pretty big deal, considering there are only 5 positions on the o-line.

Now, there are 2 offensive linemen injured still.

Hope they're better by Thursday...but I doubt it.

Big injury news for Dallas.... Ware could miss 3-4 weeks and Murray is hurt. Big game vs Philly next... Could give the Eagles the NFCEast Lead. Philly hosts NYG the game after, and Dallas goes to Detroit.

Odds of NYG pulling a win against Minn? Giants are listed as a 3 point favorite. Tasks for NY, stop Peterson, and stop the turn overs. Tasks for Vikings.... find some offense other than AP, add to Eli's pick total.

Washington hosts Chicago.... Must win for 'Skins, otherwise they fall out of the conversation for post season. maybe RG3 should buy Eli a beer after this one.

Leads the patriots in tackles and was defensive captain. How much more can they take lol. Talib, Mayo, wilfork, Kelly, vereen, amendola, Gronk, slater, Armstead. All are starters or major contributors or were going to be(Armstead). And still the pats soldier on to 5-1!

We're missing Okung until November, Giacomini for a few weeks, and Unger just got back. Meanwhile, we have Paul McQuistan (AKA the LT from Hell) who sucks really bad and can't block for his life. Over half of the 3rd down conversions we have are because Russ drops back, realizes no one's open, then runs for a first.

The Cleveland Browns as you may have noticed are having problems scoring points on offense consistently. We were expecting maybe 1/3 of those wins for the whole year, but SOMEHOW we have a shot still. Here's the thing...our defense is sick nasty, but we've got problems under center...well one problem. Brandon Weeden. If you're sick of seeing desperation heaves to the sidelines, countless sacks after superb coverage, and underhanded lightly tossed interceptions in the 4th quarter then please come apply! If you can throw a ball, come apply! If you can't, come anyway! We can teach you the basics....throwing the ball to the guy who has the same color shirt as you. Throwing the ball reasonably close to a receiver that's WIDE OPEN, throwing the ball more than 3 yards on 3rd and 16. Think you got what it takes? Come on down! You're the next contestant on Cleveland Quarterbacks!

His stat line on the Jets website didnt look half bad... 2.5 sacks and 30 tackles for an interior defensive lineman who is also a rookie (but not a rookie like LT, Bruce Smith, Derrick Thomas, Junior Seau, etc. were) is pretty good..

And how many guys in the NFL today can you say has a big mouth? I'd wager that it's a whole heck of a lot more than the guys who don't

Naw. I don't really even like playing madden. I think it probably has to do with the fact that I played football through college and maybe football type games just don't do it for me.

Losing Cushing again, losing Arian Foster, losing Matt Schaub, still coming within 1 point of defeating Kansas City...

The rookie QB did well enough, considering the circumstances. This team has too much talent (before losing Foster and Cushing this week) to be 2-5.

Time for Kubiak to take a hike, and take Schaub with him. Neither can win any game of importance. They both have Romo-itis.

Heh... I hate seeing teams get clobbered by injuries... but, it's part of the game.

I'm a Mizzou fan... and right now they're 7-0 after beating two SEC ranked teams (Georgia and Florida). But, folks are critical of Mizzou's win because both Georgia and Florida are absolutely hammered with injuries. I find that criticism funny, because last year, in Mizzou's inaugural SEC season, we lost our QB, RB, and the OL... we got stomped of course.

Oh mother er! That really fething sucks that he got as injured as it is, but it does look like he's going to be fine (which is good ). The league is probably going to fine Gipson for a hit with his head/too the head. Which wasn't the case at all during the game. It was shoulder to shoulder. Neither Shaub nor Foster are out for the season, though. Foster could be back next week, but more likely the next. Shaub could be back in less than a month.

Don't remind me of how terrible of a pick Weeden was, I get to hear it every morning on the local sports station. Weeden is garbage... We need to sucker someone into taking him off our hands like we did Trent Richardson.

Also, Josh Gordon is on the trading block, which means that someone saw the all 22 footage of Gordon being lazy on the field last week against the Lions...

Cutler is out 4 weeks minimum with a groin tear, only 3 games though since we're going into a bye. And with the loss of Briggs we're hurting bad. At least Brandon Marshall's X Ray came back negative and McCown looked more competant than Campbell did last year.

And tonight I think the Vikes will take in a pretty poor game. AP being the deciding factor

Andre Carter is an over-the-hill, 34 year old pass rushing DE. His game is just a *little* bit different than that of a 1- or 3-technique DT, LOL. He had a good season for the Pats a couple years ago, but given that *nobody* has enough pass rushers, the fact that he's been on the street this long suggests that most scouting departments think he's cooked.

Anyway, it's hardly support for DL help being available, LOL. There aren't enough of those guys to go around in the first place.

Regarding Browns QBs, do you really want to win, say, 6 or 7 games with Hoyer? He isn't the future anyway, and that just means a middling draft pick next year.

1) We've had high draft picks pretty much since our return in 1999, has it done us any good? Nope!

2) feth yeah I want to see the Browns win, Hoyer didn't have to be the future, but he could have been the mentor, and he most definitely could have been the present. Say we go out and win 7 games under Hoyer, that makes us 7-9 on the season our best record since 2007 (6 years). We have 2 first round picks, one mid-round and one late round (assuming the Colts keep up their game and go 11-5, 10-6, w/e they need to be to get into the playoffs). Those two picks we can easily bundle to get a high first round pick to grab the future QB of the franchise, who spends a year, maybe two years learning under Hoyer, and then takes over in 2015. Brandon Weeden is done in the NFL after this season, he is incapable of learning from his mistakes and improving his game. My biggest hope was that Weeden would see Hoyer play, see how what he did that was successful and learn from him, study the tape, practice with the second team, do whatever was needed to make sure that should he be the starter once again we wouldn't be treated to this:

Brandon Weeden's record as a starter of the Cleveland Browns is 6-20, and it really doesn't look like we're going to win another game this season. I'd rather deal with a mid-round pick and the chance at a winning record than sucking again for another year.

Looks like Mary Kay Cabot was wrong again >_< Ugh the Cleveland sports press sucks. (She said there was a 90% chance of Weeden being named the starter for this week).

As to the switch to Jason Campbell, it should have happened last week. Win, lose, or draw, it was apparent to anyone that saw Weeden play against the Lions that he just cannot cut it in the NFL. Now we get to see whether or not Campbell can...

I'm still blown away the team has sided with incognito over Martin. Obviously I have a different view having been bullied and not being the bullyer like a lot of football players grow up as. But still to side with someone who's clearly racist enough to send racist texts and threatening voicemails and what not is crazy to me. And now we hear almost every player coming out saying its a different culture in the locker room. Well no duh but is that culture working? Nope. I recommend anyone who hasn't read it to check out tom boswells article in the Washington post recently. It's about what a crapshoot the NFL has turned into and that they aren't beig held accountable at all really.

Edit: for the link.

Not being part of the team, I have no insight or belief which way they should side. As an outsider, the fact that they're siding with Incognito over Martin tells me one of two things.

Either: Martin is a crybaby and whatever it was that Incognito was doing is par for the course in an NFL locker-room (which is not necessarily a bad thing. I wouldn't want it at my office, but I wouldn't want to be hit by a 250 pound linebacker at my job either. Different jobs have different acceptable cultures.)

or

Incognito is such a significantly better football player than Martin that his teammates would rather he be back playing and giving them the best chance to win games, and are willing to overlook his bad behaviour to get him back.

But still to side with someone who's clearly racist enough to send racist texts and threatening voicemails and what not is crazy to me.

I don't really buy into the idea that because someone uses a word, they must be racist. You have to put it in the context of whatever social dynamic there is going on there. Not something I'd be comfortable saying, but I know groups that toss it around without ill intent. You have to remember that something like 90% of NFL players are African-American. I doubt someone who was really racist would survive for long in that environment.

And now we hear almost every player coming out saying its a different culture in the locker room. Well no duh but is that culture working? Nope.

Not sure I agree with this statement either. The culture in the locker room might not be working to produce 100% conventionally upstanding citizens. On the other hand, we only hear about the small percentage of bad apples. Plenty of NFL players do a lot of good in their communities. I'm a software engineer. Other software engineers have done bad things in the past. They run spam-nets, have robbed banks, hacked classified info, etc etc. Now, because 'software engineer' isn't a particularly glamourous job, I'm not really held subject to some widespread belief that my whole profession 'has it wrong'. But that's what's going on with the NFL. For that matter, my suburban white-bread family, has a higher percentage of 'bad apples' than the NFL. Between me and my three brothers, three of us have what you'd expect as reasonable middle-class jobs, and the fourth, raised in the same environment, has substance abuse issues, has spent time in jail, and is generally a mess. Put in the larger context of a society in which 5% of our citizens are incarcerated, I'd say the NFL is doing a better job at producing non-criminals that the society as a whole.

I doubt it's just football either. Baseball players are all on steroids, if you believe what you read, and NBA players are all drug dealers.

Thinking about the thing with Incognito again, I'm reminded of a story from the Bulls heyday:

http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/post/_/id/61933/landing-a-punch-on-michael-jordan

I'm sure this sort of thing happens in every locker-room for every sport. The thing is, Steve Kerr stood up for himself, took a bit of a beating, and the team was stronger for it. Martin whined about it, and now we're all talking about bullying in sports.

Post by: Chancetragedy

Most of that agree with redbeard and could at least imagine a scenario where this is all actually blown out of proportion. And do agree context may play a roll in what incognito was saying. But I am against bullying in any and all circumstances personally. Now where to draw the "bullying" line is a whole other conversation. I had a pretty miserable childhood because of bullying. And "standing up for myself" rarely made it better until I was much older(yes I understand he's an adult) So this whole thing already strikes a chord I guess. And just rubs me the wrong way.

A few things I'd counter with as it pertains to the NFL not having an issue with the law are the crime rates among athletes and especially football players as a whole are much higher than society as a whole. The net is lower because there are only what 1800 total employed NFL players? But the rates were up to double in some cases IIRC. And sure there are a LOT of very very good human beings that are football players. But there are a lot of entitled losers too in a higher concentration.

So idk this whole thing will continue to make me sick either way haha. Add to that everything else, and you can explain away all these things as individual events but it becomes increasingly harder to explain away the whole.

Well Ed Reed to the Jets via Free Agency, Arian Foster out fro the season on IR, Texan's season not looking very good at the moment: highlight would have to be Case Keenum.
Actually most of the back-ups this year (Josh McCown, Kris Clemmons, Geno Smith, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Matt Cassell) have been up to scratch which is a good sign for most teams

That's exactly what I'm sayin whembly ;(. And frankly the patriots didn't really play well enough to win the game but they had any chance of fighting through and pulling it out ripped from their grasp with a referee override that was called correctly to begin with. At the VERY LEAST it was defensive holding if not PI. But it is what it is and Clete blakeman won't be seeing any playoff money after that bullgak that's for sure. So moving on to Denver what a game next week is gonna be. Cannot wait although I have to be up at 5am the next day for the first time in over 4 years lol.

2013-2014 NFL thread @ 2013/11/19 11:31:38

Post by: Hlaine Larkin mk2

The last pass was uncatchable by Gronk so you can't call PI on it. Besides it's not as if the Patriots didn't get away with the massive hold against NO as well as pushing the LS.

MR: The follow-up naturally, what was discussed to then pick up the flag?

CB: There were two officials that came in. One was the umpire and the other one was our side judge and there was a discussion at that point as to the, in essence, the catchability of the ball due to its location. So it was determined at that point in time that when the primary contact occurred on the tight end that the ball, in essence, was coming in underthrown and in essence it was immediate at that point intercepted at the front end of the end zone. So there was a determination that, in essence, uncatchability, that the ball was intercepted at or about the same time the primary contact against the receiver occurred.

Yah that was bad. I thought Hayden was supposed to be one of the best CB's in football? He got burned today. I gave up rooting for Ohio teams a long time ago. I'll stop throw on an OSU game here and there but that's about it.

Also I really hope the refs don't give the pats all the calls this week after Mondays horse crap no call. I love laughing at all the idiots that say the patriots get all the calls when it's actually a proven fact Brady and the pats in general benefit the least from referee calls out of almost any team in the league.

My favorites are the "Brady rule" for hits to the knee which is actually the Palmer rule and started 3 years before Brady got hit and the tuck rule which again started 3 years before the patriots benefitted from it. It's at a point where even Mediots have NFC what they're talking about when it comes to penalties and complain about the patriots getting calls.

There were a couple of questionable push-offs by Brown, but yeah he didn't look very good today. There was also a no call hit to Campbell's head on the play that he went out today. So after having enough of that crapfest, I took off my jersey and hat, turned off the game and started prepping for the Ottawa Senators game tonight. Told the poor sap that runs the Browns' Twitter feed that since they were incapable of winning a game, I was incapable of being a fan and to call me when they started to show that they knew how to play a game of football.

Best of luck to the rest of the teams in the NFL!

Ouch ;(. I feel the pain Aff. I had been a browns/Indians and a dolphins/marlins fan for most of my life until I moved to New England in '95. Fortunately since '96 I've witnessed probably the greatest 18 year run in sports history from 1 city. Like I tell my friends all the time when they whine and complain they can't understand how lucky we've been as a city to see the Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins, and Celtics win so much and so often. I'm never going to see anything like I have the last 18 years for the rest of my life I'm sure.

Dennard and Talib active tonight for the patriots Julius Thomas out for the broncos. That fact alone just made this game a lot closer. Goddamnit why do I start day shift tomorrow for the first time in 4.5 years ;(. I am not even gonna make it past half time before I have to go to bed if I want to wake up in the morning.

So, the Factory of Sadness was posted earlier in the thread. Mike Polk Jr, the Cleveland comedian that did the first video has this to follow it up:

That was hilarious.

The Packers stooping to a tie with the Vikes.... sigh.

The Bears getting stomped made it a little better though.

A good Steelers team wouldn't have had to settle for those field goals, I wouldn't be enjoying my tears (of which there are none) if I were you. You team is only slightly less gakky than the browns.

Because the flag gave him strength. Apparently, as his lineman helped him up, he said something like, "It's all good, there's a flag."

Hey happy thanksgiving guys. Hope your days are filled with delicious food and a win for your team if they're playing today.

I personally can't wait for some food, football, and family. About to drive the hour to my parents I'll not be checking in today so peace out.

Wow... the officials of the Sunday night game just screwed up big time. Did anyone else catch that blunder? And then Al Michaels going off on the officiating crew for their screw up?

Just read the article on NFL.com, seems like a pretty big miscommunication

Also, any one got thoughts on Tomlin's actions during the Steelers game on Thursday night? Looks like he might face $100,000 fine, the Steelers might face a similar fine, and the possibility of the loss of a draft pick.

Good.

Anyone, especially the Coach, shouldn't be anywhere near that.

My problem is that coaches are always in the officiating zone during the games, it's just this time it caused Jacoby Jones to choke during his return.

Also ouch

I wouldn't call that intentional... but, as the NFL ruled that a player such as Ricky Williams' hair was part of the uniform and therefore was OK to be tackled by it.... this is just the same way, dont want to be tackled by the junk? cut it off

Sideline violations are often overlooked because they aren't generally relevant to the play, but this one was.

While exciting, I'm not getting my hopes up.... Seattle will inevitably fall under the "Pacific Northwest Professional Sports Team Syndrome" (PNPSTS) which is to say, they will dominate all year, but when it comes to playoff time or the biggest game, they will choke, as is historically the case for any NW team

*spins the quarterback carousel*

And with 4 games left in the season and every starting quarterback on their roster injured, the Cleveland Browns sign Caleb Hanie...

Who the feth is Caleb Hanie?! Also, who the feth is Alex Tanney for that matter?

The Browns have gone from leading the division to being in the hunt, to straight up buffoonery .

Hanie was Cutler's backup in the 2010 Championship game, at least it wasn't Tebow

Nah.. the "experts" will still find a reason to hate on them Most of them will still probably say the Patriots or Broncos are favorites to win the Super Bowl...

Its almost too bad that the Superbowl isnt hosted by the "better" team instead of a Neutral site, I doubt any AFC team could hang in Seattle, I mean, sure they just set a noise record, but could you imagine how loud it'd be if the Super Bowl was there with Seattle playing? It'll probably be just as loud during the NFC Championship or whatever other P/O games are there.

I'm picking the Seahawks vs Broncos in the SB.

Here's the x-factor. This is being played in NY. In winter... Manning doesn't like playing in cold weather.

Besides... I have a man-crush on Russell Wilson... he just plays the game right. (I hate the coach tho )

The cold will kill Manning's chances in the divisional round with that home berth all but secured for the Broncos right now

Yah I agree with Seattle haters gonna hate. I'm looking at them as NFC favorites right now because of their home field advantage. Now when it comes east to NY for the SB who knows what will happen.

Well, if Seattle makes it to the SB, at least they'll have a week+ to adjust to the time difference, as opposed to 1 to 2 days.

Even if I weren't a Seahawks fan, I would have to really compliment them on completely shutting down the NO offense and picking apart the 5th ranked NO defense.

They completely took NO out of whatever gameplan they had come up with.

They were out coached and out played, and the result showed.
