Nah. I always love going through my bits and finding all the parts to a model or two.

Or finding something that is just so plain amazing that you need to break apart one of your existing models to include.

Or going in the loft and finding enough 3rd ed marines to make a small army.

When the Eye of Terror book came out, I made eighty assorted Mutants just out of parts that were hanging around doing nothing.

I found the other weekI had enough bits to build 4 2k pts armies 2 chaos 1 SM and 1 IG...thats when I broke it all down and have begun throwing that into my ebay business.

Nah, it's bad when you find enough for a full tactical squad and now you have no idea where that bag is....

I have a Land Raider sitting in a box at home. I accidentally discovered it when looking for bitz.

43 marine backpacks, 12 chaos backpacks, an old predator, lots of predator sponsons..I thought i cleared all this out...meh...the kids can use them.

Its bad when your wife cleans up up and throws out a FW beast of chaos because its 'broken' (the jaw had fallen off)...

I as able to piece together another 30 Ork Boyz out of just bitz.

...when you're pretty sure you could build a Battlewagon facsimile completely out of slugga/choppa arms and a few random Nob heads.

Found a few pieces the other day to make a few modified 'robo'-orks and an eldar heavy weapons guy called Derek.

It's bad when you *know* you've got a Battleforce box and it takes you an hour of digging through stuff to find it!

How about opening a random cabinet in your rec room and finding a (missing) painted Forgeworld Wave Serpent and a few boxes of leftover Eldar and WE Sprues?

Happened a few weeks ago. Also found my missing Star Wars CCG collection.

I've built 3 XV-8's out of left Over parts from the FW Tau suits.....

Built a 5 man Dev squad out of left over Missile launchers for Tac squads

Built around 7 Termies from left over parts from DA up grade sprews, Assualt Termie and Termie left overs...

Couple Razorbacks from left over LR, rhino, Vindicators, and Damocles tanks.

Heh, and another one.. Pulling an old suitcase out from behind a sofa and finding its full of unpainted Space Marine (Epic) Marines, Orks, Squats, and Eldar

How about digging around the basement and finding an unassembled papercraft titan, with a rhino inside the chest cavaty.

Thanks to various Starter sets and random trades/bitz boxes/what have you, I've ended up with Salamanders, O&G, Lizardmen, and Empire armies lying around.

i nearly got enough parts in my biz box to build half a leman russ...including sponsons

No worse than when you sit down with the necessary bits to build 20 Beakie Assault Marines and by the time you put the last model down you have 30.

Or the fact that half my Black Templar army is build just from my bitz box.

How bad is it when you keep finding enough parts to expand a planned 2500 point White Scar army upwards towards 10'000 points...and every time you tell your friend "I just built another 3 squads." he threatens to stop by your house and kick the hell out of you.

Doesn't happen much, but it does happen.

Maybe I should attribute this to 'too much stuff in my house'...keep finding boxes of sprue leftovers to build a couple of armies worth

Don't remind me. I've tried to get an Apocalypse battle going at my FLGS just so I could use the LatD and Plague of Zombies datasheets, but none of those noobs has more than 1,000 points of anything.

Been there. I bought the Warzone starter box when it first came out, and tried every glue I could get my hands on, but nothing would keep them together, so I threw out all 80 of them in disgust. Just a couple of weeks ago, I bought them all again, from Prince August for about what the starter box cost when it was new. However, now I have better glue. I also have an Ork Warboss still in the blister pack that I will probably never use.
