Mine have all been Warmachine stuff (Cryx, Cygnar, Khador, Menoth projects), a temple
terrain piece, and the Soviet tanks/artillery that would finish up my Flames of War army.
Also various Reaper minis/Anima tactics haven't seen any progress.

I offer up no excuses, I just want to recognize their status as stalled projects.

My entire 3000pt NM army.

Been really unmotivated recently even though I've had tons of time on my hands!

2500 points of Imperial Guard I've had just sitting around.

Most of it is put together.. but need to prime and paint it all 'one of these days..'

Figuring out how to convince my fiancee that when I paint miniatures that it's actually quality time with her.

That, and a gaming table for the house.

I guess painting my Salamanders and converting SH Termies into DW(just need some appropriately sized blades to make the symbols now, though).

Maybe expanding my Necrons and painting more Chaos, too?

I was putting off expanding and converting Thousand Sons, but I've recently started doing that...

Oh! And my Skaven army(again).

Eldar. I started the year off getting 3 units completed, and then stopped painting for 2 months. Now I am painting again but it's my Blood Angels.

All of my painting. Have everything built and primed just need to get moving on my painting. For some reason each time i sit down and try to i find myself either converting or having quality time with the PS3. Hell my 1k sons just need highlighted and rhinos and Vindicators painted. Well minus the DP and lord need fully painted. I havent figured out a good combo for the feathers on them yet. GKs are halfway finished. Orks.....yeah that is going to be a problem when i get to them.

It was all in the good cause of making a Tyranid Army and terrain for Platinum Devil.

I want to do some "organic" terrain then I will turn my attention to the above projects.

My guard. I started buying Vostroyans when they came out. I have a coin-jar that I put all my change in when I get home every night. And, over the period of a few years, every time it would fill up, I'd buy more vostroyans or chimeras, because I wanted a mechanized guard regiment.

Enter the new codex - now I've finally got enough models to do it, and everyone and their grandmother started playing mech-guard. I've lost a lot of interest in the project as a result, and it's sitting to the side gathering dust and annoying my wife with the space it's occupying.

Finishing up the paint job on my Zombie IG army. Got all the latest additions base coated and blocked in, just need details, shading wash and decals on the vehicles.

Finish the remaining 11000 points of my DA army. One day I decided I really hated my old paint scheme, stripped em all, and rebuilt them.

Its just so much to paint...

Cooking, cleaning. shopping, , washing up, diy, haircuts, washing etc etc....

The main ones that stick out are detail painting a few terrain pieces and finishing the black horses on my Dark Riders.

I have a 4k word article commission I've been putting off for a few weeks. I need to jump on it, this weekend, but I'll probably finish reading The Diamond Age, instead.

I've been putting off an addition to my house, because I don't want to work outside in the snow.

I have been putting off my Khorne deamon engine army for a few times during the last three years.
It's the second army I'm building, the first being around a 1000 points(atleast it was roughly 1000 points during the 3.5 edition chaos codex) of, mostly unconverted, deathguard.

In hindsight I've hugely underestimated the amount of work that goes into kitbashing an army.
While I have learned a lot from this project in terms of converting and designing skills, the sheer volume of work and relative lack of progress regularly burn me out on the building and painting part of wargaming.
The, now apocalypse only, army will still be finished, but I've given up on setting myself any deadlines.

And for some (possibly quite bad) advice:
The best way to improve your skills , IMHO, still is to start a project well above your current skill level, but do think twice about the size of your pet project.
Avoid working with guitar strings, just use two different steel wires (a thick one for the core and a thin one for the coils), I made the mistake of using guitar wire for my mutants and now hate it with the intensity of a thousand suns...

Painting my terrain.

Big arse Bastion will be getting submitted to the GW Website when it's done. Just need to pull finger out and assemble the tower and do some jiggery pokery to mount the Lascannons properly. Then of course paint the sod (currently standing about 2.5' high!)

im actually inspired and motivated to finish my display board for my DW and then finish my salamanders, but i told the local store owner id finish this for him first...
its taking so long that im takin my sweet ass time with it and its getting no where...

I've built a quite big tower from foam board and having etched stone work on to it and undercoated it grey I'm putting of actually painting it, so it sits staring at me from the shelf.

Besides the metric ton of orks I have to paint I have numerous terrain projects in various stages of completion, most notably:

1. Ork "bastion"

2. ork squig pen

3. Mek's workshop

4. Imperial city walls

My Krieg army, all built, barely painted. It's such a buzzkill painting them. It takes SO long per squad.

I have a wave serpent I've had half assembled for months..

Ork stuff... ran out of steam , but some how it ended up been the most painted army i have lol...
Wood Elf stuff .... ran out of steam too after finishing 9 tree kins. Probably because how much the red foliage failed discouraged me.
Space Wolves: Actually had color plan and everything... just no steam left !

The rest: They can stay gray for all i care xD

I've been putting off my CC terminators and landspeeder squadron, I just love building so much I often overlook how much crap I built I get overwhelmed =(

I moved house, work got busy, and money ran short. Hopefully next payday I can get the bitz I need to go to the next stage.

I,like Luna, also "hit a wall" concerning Orkz,I had painted up 3 mobz of 29 boyz + Nobz,and just couldn't face painting anymore of the buggers for a bit.
So I started adding more to my Death Guard (becuase...I really like to paint things green).
I suppose I will have to get back to painting the remainder of my Orkz soon.

I have a land speeder squadron that has been in the WIP stages for 3 years now, good news is that I have both the old tornado assult cannons and a speeder to finish the project, its gotta get here first.

Finally, my Guard. By far, the most easy thing to procrastinate on. I seem to have 5 differnt squads with 10 differnt paint schemes!

But, soon I'll finish them up. Need some more armor, mabe 2 chimeras, 1 squad of vets and a squad for my platoon so I can really hold objectives. Next will be some (mabe converted) stormtroopers.

Luckily, I painted all my ultramarines. If I get anything new for them, its gonna be on the backburner.

Painting anything really at the momment . Need to do plague marines well the yare almost done, noise marines 30 + troops. 3 tanks, dreadnought. Legion of the damned . Finsh of my defiler . An entire high elves army ¬¬. Then I want some chaos warriors "sigh"

Plague marines are fun to paint. I added some greenstuff to mine , made like radio active goo coming out. Need post some pics

Need to expand my slaves from 20 to 30 so that they have some value on the battlefield, but can't face painting 10 miniatures that will only be worth 20 points in my army.
