I'm making the miniatures I sculpted for my Daemon Army available to the public. Currently available is the original Daemon Princess. The model is 4.5 inches (120 mm) tall, and 52 gram in weight. Intended for 28-30 mm miniature war-gaming systems such as Warhammer, Warhammer 40k, etc. Includes one model (unpainted), base not included. The model comes unassembled: arms, right leg, torso, head, two wings, and a loincloth. The parts are socketed to hide the joins, while allowing for easy assembly without the need to pin. The miniature is cast in high quality resin. Base not included. The current price is $50 USD.

Nice choice for a base. That's one of the wall guards to put behind door knobs so you don't punch holes in your wall.

I've used those for FW Greater Daemons.

Its sad that you would be asked to leave the GW once anyone saw that.

I'd love to have one, but I don't have any FLGS to play at, only GW stores.

Its a shame how society reacts to miniatures with breasts or a dick or vagina.

That's going to give you some problems with anyone using about half f the various Daemonette models that GW has released over the years...

Have you fellows LOOKED at the proportions on stock GW 28mm figs recently? The head/hands are even larger, proportionately. The larger head and easier-to-see face will look great from the height you usually see you minis at, whereas a realistically-proportioned one will look somewhat off (something I noticed with Inq. minis).

And if you don't like the head, the body's still a bargain for $50. Plonk something else on there.

Great work, sersi, and that's a very fair price.

Just a few years ago the official GW daemonettes came compete with "finely sculpted tits", too...in some cases multiple pairs of breasts even.

I am not going to get this since I have no need and money to get things I don't need. Now if you made some Daemonett sized models that might be different. They make good Harpies or Witches.

Come on, guys. I'm not a prude by any means. There's tasteful nudity, and then there's, well, this. And if old Daemonette models had the same level of mammary detail, then that doesn't make it any better.

Think about the game we play, and the places we play it. How often do youngish kids walk into GWs and LGSs and fawn over the finely painted minis on the table? Now, I'm not the kind of person who thinks a 12 year old seeing a pair of tits on a giant humanoid lobster is going to ruin his childhood or whatever, but chances are his parents are going to see it too. And that means one less potential 40k player.

I really have to question the sanity of someone who thinks it's appropriate to plop this thing down on a public table. Especially given that most of the neckbeards I encounter are some degree of sexually dysfunctional anyway.

That's a really nice sculpt and worth the money. If I had a daemon army I'd certainly order one (if I had the spare cash I'd order one anyway).

The logic in this post doesn't coincide with the sheer ignorance of the first. You'd stand up your opponent because of the rare possibility that a child, whom you've never met, wandering in the store might lose the chance to play the hobby for a few years until he has his own income as a teenager thanks to the fact that mom and pop got offended by the titty monster? That makes absolutely no sense. I think you oppose this mini for personal reasons, rather than any actual concern as to whether or not Timmy's parents will be offended by the mini.

Your use of the stereotypical Neckbeard as a defense for taking a shot at this mini is also laughable, and almost slapped in as haphazardly as the defense of your first post. As lottery tickets always tell me, 'Please Play Again".



Now then, I have to agree that the head just looks a bit too large. I'd still happily use it, but you may want to reduce the size a bit on future heads, and maybe stick this one on a different sculpt down the road.

I certainly think I'll be buying one for the missus though, once the other weapon and head options come out. I'm hoping there'll be a sword arm

It's a lovely sculpt. I like the head - the facial features are very well done - but it does seem a bit out of proportion to the rest of the body.

I hope you'll consider a moo-cow head and/ or fiend type head. I've always been a fan of KOS with demon heads over princess heads.

A Fiend or Horse head would look pretty cool, yea. A lizard-type head might look good too. A cow/bull head would go better on a Khorne DP though, IMO.

To be honest mate questioning the sanity of someone who plays a particular model because it has breasts is pretty rude, a child has a seen the breast since they left the womb heck they suckled on it for a while too, even if the parents complained to you why do you care ? It's your model, and the parents shouldn't be so protective of their child.

Back onto your model Sersi, I think it's awesome and if I did daemons I would buy one for sure, the head may be a little large but mneh nobody is perfect !

40k is clearly intended for a 'mature' audience, and I use that term loosely. There's more murder, sex, betrayal, and greed than in a soap opera. I wouldn't use the model in a public place with a lot of kiddies around, but I also wouldn't walk away from someone that was using it.

And I agree, I don't care for the head. It's not even that it's huge, it just doesn't look right to me. Too bland maybe, not hideous enough?

I disagree, but to each their own. I prefer my Khorne GD's with more of a feral dog sort of head(but I was always a fan of the older GDs).

Although on this one, a cow head probably wouldn't fit.
