With all the threads trashing him I feel bad for him so here we go.

Thank you Matt Ward for updating my Grey Knights. We got some cool rules here and I'm ready to play with some of the new awesome models.

Can't wait to see what you do with Necrons.

Great Job Mr. Ward

He's by no means my favorite codex writer, despite how much I like the Space Marine codex. Yes, his fluff is usually pretty bad, and his naming conventions are goofy, but he's not the combined Saddam Hussein/Hitler/Satan/JerryWilkinsWhoBeatMeUpAndTookMyLunchMoney that everybody makes him out to be.

Thank you also Mr. Ward for the Blood Angels codex. Another crowning achievement to your hopefully long and illustrious run in codex and rules writing.

Oh hell no. He is no where near that bad. I like the guy. I Love what he did with the Space Marine Codex. As long as Matt Ward doesn't make a blog of him murdering innocent childern or Models, I am completely fine with the writer. I am not fine with his overpowering characters. But hey, he came out with the Vulkan character which was great. His early writings were some of the best writing thus far for the Ultramarines.

Mr. Ward,

Please ignore all silly complaints about your writing. They are all obvious trolls.

After all, what sells the most in the 40k line? Marines? Oh yes, you're the author of the Codex:Space Marines book as well.

Obviously, you can do no wrong. Keep it up.

Sincerely,

Your loyal and fanatic fans

Absolutely not. In fact, I'm just tired of all the complaints about the GK codex. I'm sure Mr. Ward is too.

I look forward to the Necron Megalith.

It's a Monolith inside a bigger Monolith that shoots Necron Warriors. Oh, did I mention it can fly and has been known to tear off the wings on Bloodthirsters and hurl them to their doom. And don't forget its most powerful weapon: the tomb nipples.

Necrons are going to be gnarly, bro!

There's this bit of fluff where there's something called the Bloodtide and the GK kill a bunch of sisters to sate it. I think.

Dear mister Ward. Thank you for writing the nice and balanced SM Codex before you wrote the just-as-nice-and evidently-more-balanced-er BA Codex. Would you please write me an Eldar Codex that is balanced-er too? I would like FNP bubbles for everything too and invul saves on my wraithlord for a fraction of the cost. While you are at it, can all eldar have psykic powers and witch blades for ccw since they are a psykic race? It only makes sense. I definitely think we should have most aspect warriors as troops and falcons as FA or HS - since we are a fast army like the blood angels it only makes sense to be balanced-er.

Dear Matt Ward,

Thank you for acknowlegding how true space marines should be, as noted by Mephiston in the BA codex.

Explain? Codex: IG is great. Codex: Tyranids is a bit of a mess, but the Guard codex is a book that can be fluffy and powerful at the same time.
