I've got Black Templar's, when i was first picking i wanted something different then Blood angels and Ultramarines, So i did a little searching and for some reason BT's stuck out to me like a sore thumb. So i read about them and looked around GWs and found they have the upgrades. So was a pretty easy pick for me. But what does everyone else run? Why did you pick them?

I have a 2nd ed Legion of the Damned army I run as either Codex Marines (a stand in for Deathwatch) or Space Wolves (because they fit my models' wargear loadout better), depended on what I want to play it the time.
But my main army in 5th are the Knights of the Word (Grey Knights), which I've been running since 5th came out (first as C H, now as C: GK).
Between the two armies, they share three gun metal painted Land Raiders that are magnetized so each can be fielded as any of the three codex configurations.

Space Puppies mostly.
I do have a second DIY Marine the Imperial Tigers that I use a diffrent Codex for Each Company
1st: Dark Angels
2nd: BT
3rd: GK
4th: Blood Angels
Most of my Uniis are built to be used by 2 or more Armies.

See i like that alot, Making you own is great, you dont have to stick to anything, and you can pretty much do as you please. Thats kind of the thing i run into with my BT, i cant do whatever i wish, lol.

They are basically SW but with a different name "Fox Marines"

I play Space Wolves, but I haven't really done much with them yet. I got ten unpainted Blood Claws, some unfinished scouts, and some other models I haven't even started assembling. Hooray.

I play Crimson Fists mostly. I got a bunch of old RT models and went with an appropriately old-school scheme. I also have Space Wolves and Dark Angels, but I don't use them quite so much.

DIY chapter The Knights of Light (yes, very much imagination used). I was thinking of Crimson Fists but ended up renaming Pedro Kantor and using him as my own chapter master.

I started them during 2nd edition, long before this Ultramarines-hate nonesense started. Actually, it makes the my victories against such players more gratifying. =)
I've converted and painted Death-watch and Mentor Legion to "count as" Sternguard.
