crusader as they are always dedicated transports. Guns just make them more better. Kind of like red paint.... Wait...

Go to forge world and look up Land Raider Achilles. Sure it can transport anything, but with those weapons and the OLD Living metal rule...*whistles*.

Redeemer is fun, but I have had the best luck with my lascannon LR.

For those who can't be bothered going to reearch the Achilles, it is armed with a pair of TL MM sponsons, and a Hull mounted TFC.

I'm not a huge fan of Godhammer Land Raiders since they're kind of schizophrenic in what they want to do. They can hide in the backfield and shoot tanks - so why is their armor so high? They can transport troops into the front lines and get them into assault - so why does it have so many long range weapons? It's not optimal, and no matter what you're doing you're missing out on either it's transport or shooting abilities.

The Land Raider Redeemer is more focused in its purpose, but has to get entirely too close to melta guns, power klaws, chainfists, and fusion blasters for comfort. The transport capacity also isn't great.

Crusaders are by far my favorite Land Raider. Best transport capacity, most weapons are defensive and can fire all the time, it has a longer thread range than the Redeemer, and absolutely shreds infantry. Hell of a tank.

Doesnt matter to me since I just want it moving all out to deliver my terminators. Lascanons to me are a waste cause I don't want a 200 plus pt vehicle to sit around.

I like my Landraiders intact except with a nice oblong railgun round entrance hole in one side, and another on the other side, with a matching 100m long crimson streak on the ground matching the exit angle or the round..


But seriously I like the standard loadout lascannon one, and the crusader, the helios is kinda cool to, very nice model.

I am just wondering if the OP purposely left out the Achilles, Ares and Helios. They are some of the best ones.

What about the Terminus? 5 lascannons, 3 of them twin-linked? Sounds fun, even if I'm going to have to do some conversion work to get all 5 lascannons pointing at the same target.

Where's the fast option? I want to run 6 Blood Angels Land Raiders in Apoc...

So much fun when a Zzap gun takes one out on turn one by rolling a 10 and a perfect string of 6s...

Although my favorite moment was seeing one immobilized by a rokkit then charged by a 1-wound Nob whose squad was dead.

Crusader. More useful than the redeemer and lazer one, and I think it looks nice, though the flamestorm cannons are awesome
