On the bright side, mother-in-law is finally (after 12 weeks) out of hospital. On the darker - Father-in-law has to go in for radiotherapy for skin cancer (carcinoma, not melanoma, thankfully).

Sadly, nothing wargaming-related Though I got some nice stuff anyways. Candy, a couple of hygiene articles (Seriously, I know my younger siblings are going on the cheap, but... I don't know if I should take it as a hint or not Dx), a sports bag (for school), 200 Swedish crowns... And the sweet presents this year was The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword and a new speaker-set for mah room.
However, I'm still gonna celebrate with my father tomorrow too.. And I suspect the annual "Here's 1000 crowns go get whatefetheveryouwant."
However, that in turn means I'm gonna be sitting, tormented, on my cash, in wait for the VC release.

The kids from the Cook Islands and the small Paciffic Islands open their presents first. Santa has no need for time because he is Tzeentch.

My wife and I pretty much just buy ourselves a bunch of stuff over December. Since I tend to just buy whatever I'm wanting for myself, there's not a lot of surprises to be had. Anything "applicable" becomes a "Christmas Present" - so any console games I buy, or DVDs/Blu Rays, electronics, etc we buy become "presents".

We have a tradition in my family of opening one gift on Christmas Eve, the rest get opened on Christmas Day. I ended up getting to open two things, since my younger brother opened one of my gifts without realizing it(his "bwuh?" face when it was a pair of Naga Hackers for Infinity was priceless though!).

I guess I should count my Collector's Edition of The Old Republic as well, even though I bought it myself in July as I got to apply a few gift cards for Amazon to the purchase which came from my neighbors.

I got a bag of 50 Multicoloured Dice, and you know what? I was chuffed to bits with 'em, What a great present! Totally unexpected too. Otherwise, a bit of cash and some Tie fighter Models!ule

EDIT - and a DLNA Samsung DVD player - Now plugged in and working....DLNA is pretty amazing, easy wire-free streaming around my house of anything, video, audio, internet the lot. And it's easy to setup and use!
