I like Adult Swim when their not showing original programing (Venture Bros and Robot Chicken excepted). Adult Swim's original programing is made for morons.
I can understand the Tom and Eric crap giving the impression it is all trash.
As for the Fred show seems easy enough. Grab a random hyperactive teen, a camera and pitch bend the gak out of the results; pay him poorly for his stupidity. Simple entertainment for those still fascinated by bright flashing colours.

Adult Swim used to play awesome anime, but they started to push it further a d furher back a d kept shrinking the time block for it. Don't really have to care anymore though since I've not had tv service for a good year and just watch everything online with my comp hooked up to my tv set.
Except no one cares about fred anymore? Missed the boat by a couple years nick.
Also, I've never seen anything I've particularly disliked on adult swim besides robot chicken. Always though it was overly violent and sophomoric. Tim and Eric is fine, so's frisky dingo, metaljjdfknk, moral orel, venuture brothers, hunger force and squidbillies.
Although squidbillies often makes me literally sick to my stomach. Talk about grimdark... that show is oddly disturbing. Such a hopelessly violent and aggressive situation in a hopeless and bleak land.

Used to have death note, bleach, samurai champloo, FLCL, GITS, a bunch of other ones. It was bomb as gak. And by that, I mean amazing.
