Metalocalypse: Pretty awesome, but not as great as the early episodes promised.
Robot Chicken: Excellent.
Squidbillies: I'm not much into the animation style, but iit's funny. IMO the writing is quite good and the satire pretty biting.
Superjail: Had its moments but overall not great.
Tim and Eric: Moments of brilliance largely drowned out by annoyance and dross.
Children's Hospital: Mostly great.
Aqua Teen: Lots of funny, some brilliant, and some not nearly as enjoyable if you're sober.

Have you seen NTSF:SD:SVU yet Mannahnin?

I've been pretty disappointed by the series' progression myself. We kept being led to believe that there was some sort of world-shattering calamity about to happen and here we are 6 years later and nothing! It's still very funny, though, and the music is ace.

At least it comes back in April!

Kan: That one's pretty good too. In truth, I don't actually watch the genre of shows that either is parodying, so they don't appeal to me all that much. But I can appreciate what they're doing when I do happen to catch an episode.

It always seemed likely to me that the conspiracy/calamity angle was filler. The best parts have always been a) Metal and metal culture in-jokes and references (like the first season's Troll episode taking place in Espoo), b) The really well-done music, c) the humor taking the piss out of shallow, egocentric musicians.

That and Mark Hamill voicing the Pope.

At first, I was really hating on adult swim's lineup. Now though, I can't do my coursework without some ATHF.

The other cartoons on Adult Swim is a delivery system for Robot Chicken in the same vein that the run of the mill Ork Boy in an Ork Boy squad is a delivery system for a power klaw.

Robot Chicken = Nob with Power Klaw.

Every other cartoon on Adult Swim = An ork boy.

Space Ghost Coast to Coast was also great.
As was Sealab 2021.
Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law was also occasionally awesome.

Metalocalpyse is the only thing I know from adult swim.
That and robot unicorn attack.

Speaking of Metalocalpyse I'm assuming I'm going to have to wait until it comes out on DVD till I can watch it since their site only ever has tiny clips when I go onto it.

Well the show is only 15 minutes to start with.

From my understanding, the clips on the site are what would break down into the "scenes" of an episode on the dvds.

Metalocalypse seasons are available on DVD. I bought them as presents for my wife.

That was a funny show. I met the guy that does Space Ghosts voice in person, and the guy is kind of an donkey-cave. It felt like he wanted nothing to do with anyone unless they paid him for it first

Brak used to make me laugh. But my tastes have changed quite a bit, and like I said many posts ago, I pretty much hate everything on adult swim. Ill watch American Dad, and then its time to change the channel
